||all that happened was the communication to the other avatars died. So this new avatar will only have access to korra|| korra
i sent that 5 min ago but ok
long halloween was great
its in the list
lmao its ok ulti
just wasn't sure which version ig
I'll probably get these digitally since I don't think the rest are available
its pretty cool
Ah that one was p good
good shit
these ones fine harsh?
yeah
cool cool
ill add that to the list as a digital grab
there we go
oh also made a manga list of what I grabbed in OS
Damn I totally missed the death stranding movie announcement
I hope they just take everyone’s actor and use them
just about lol
22 more on the way

tbf im gonna be churning through 3-4 of these a day
fortunately, single volumes of manga can be read pretty easily
you could check out anime DVDs and Blu-Rays if you wished, but I don't have any players of that sort anymore, so
Monstress (vol 1) synopsis || Set in an alternate world of art deco beauty and steampunk horror, Monstress tells the epic story of Maika Halfwolf, a teenage survivor of a cataclysmic war between humans and and their hated enemies, the Arcanics. In the face of opression and terrible danger, Maika is both hunter and hunted, searching for answers about her mysterious past as those who seek to use her remain just one step behind... and all the while, the monster within begins to awaken.|| @sinful vessel
Monstress vol 1 art
I don't have a good camera on me atm
So sorry for the quality

there's 7 vols out and that 7th one covers the absolute latest events in the ongoing run
it's a little slow
anyways, there's a blizzard coming next morning and will be around all day
Sounds cute.
so i'll be reading a lot
Take care.

"sounds cute"

It's like berserk levels of fucked at times

You'd have to read it to understand, the synopsis I gave is the one on the back of vol 1 which isn't that great at explaining it
@mild seal apparently the latest CR ep had a shit ton of lore dump?

Gotta continue cr 3
comedy episode and lore episode back to back
gotta love it
CR 3 is such a delight at this point
its a culmination of the past 2 campaigns, the side campaigns and matt's incredible worldbuilding
man there's so much I wanna say
i'll finish the episode later today, i have a train ride
Would starting at 3 be a bad point
I started on campaign 3
i think 2 is better because it has the most minimal connections to the entire story told before it
3 has heavy references to campaign 1
@dim hedge where you at on whomst
Hm?
Doctor whomst
Stopped at the episode before the season 2 finale
I’ll get back to it soon
Really wanna catch up now
As in the first part of the 2 parter?
👀 I didn’t know you were watching
Uk office level of comedy
good? i agree

BREAKING: It's happening. An original animated series following the next earth Avatar in the cycle after Aang and Korra is coming in 2025 from Paramount and Avatar Studios.

ah
was thinking it was finally time I pushed through Korra
I keep getting the same walmart commercial on hulu and its hilarious rofl
Would be cool if confirmed
new mistborn covers btw @scenic frost
Knives Out 2, 40 minutes in is a fuckin blast
Big if true
Oo I feel we're slowly heading back to the original pitch for Avatar ||space age firebending||
Stormlight book 5 title ||Knights of Wind and Truth|| Not sure how I feel about it
its great to me

Green Lantern Vol 2 #9
The pet? lmao
lol yep
So awfully redundant
now make them black/dark skin 😈
earth bending best bending
Netflix is releasing a new live action Witcher series on Christmas.. Why is this a thing lol
Lol Netflix witcher is a sunk ship
I just feel so bad
There will never be another witcher adaptation in my lifetime and the one we got was absolutely atrocious
Yeah. This series is helmed by the person that ruined the Henry Cavill series and pushed him and all who were fans of the original content and games out
Fuck Netflix for handing the perfect to the most incompetent aholes in their division
@neon coral Witcher blood origin bruhhhhh

Witcher blood origin || they called the original series memorable and still called this a trainwreck ||
How did Netflix even manage this
Lmao
Has to be a record or something
It's being run by the woman who tried to slander Henry Cavill and a guy who's got no experience outside but they got friendly on set and he got a promotion. His previous experience is writing for CW shows and Netflix ironfist
I don't want to read more about this 😂 how out of touch are they
I think I'd watch season 3 of Witcher for Henry Cavill. In a way I'm glad this is coming so people can shit on it without him being involved
Am scared for One Piece :
Cavill was like the dude holding back actual criticism for the show
the show was boring anyway yeah lol
glass onion is even better than the first one tbh
wow, this is just so good
My baby just arrived
A bit disappointed with glass onion tbh, thought first was better
Niiice! Haven't seen that boxset before it looks gorgeous
@modern lichen think imma watch superman the animated series
that and spectacular spiderman for my animated shows
i only realized a year or 2 ago that some of the shit they were talking about in JLU was tied to stas
Honestly I feel Marvel and DC excel more at animated series than comics or live action series more often than not
At least from what I've seen
dc is better in the animated space
Personally think DC bodies Marvel by and large cartoon wise
The X-men and Spiderman shows from the 90s-early 2000s not withstanding
batman the animated series and the dcau just stands shoulders above both the xmen and spiderman shows all combined
Batman the animated series is goated
you have btas and then you have superman, justice league, justice league unlimited and then batman beyond + static shock
And the OG Teen Titans
of course
but its not a part of the main dcau
but yeah, teen titans is badass
you have the newer batman series
its just incredible quality
you have young justice too
Yeah DC outshines in that department but y'know MCU smelly and the comics for marvel are (kinda) hard to get into
So like I feel it's animation department does a better job
Never understood why DC doesn't just 1:1 some of their animated films, down to the OSTs. Those movies have always been amazing. Series too
Im not going to a theatre to watch live action comic movies but an animated one? I would
my guess would be ego
the fans have been saying for years how great DC animation is and how they should do that but live action and they don't listen
@mild seal bro what the fuck is this episode lmao
CR latest ||god butcher
||
it hits better having seen all of the previous campaigns
CR C3 latest ||DUDE all I could think of when Matt was saying all this was motherfucking Galactus god eater||
CR latest ||predathos is such a badass name||
it is
CR latest ||this is more terrifying than any of the theories i've seen on this, eldritch entity/abomination of cosmic proportions being forced into the fuckin prison akin to tharizadun||
CR C3 latest ||the fact that we thought it was 2 gods trapped but it turned into a fucking god killing entity that ate 2 of the previous gods is so fucking terrifying||
CR C3 latest ||people in chat were also saying the shade creepers and the shade mother could be its spawn||
CR latest ||predathos is an elder evil like tharizdun||
isn't that the guy who wanted to make a 40k show
hopefully they do
its perfect for a tv show or movie
@tawny grotto check pins, you got a few lists to choose books from
oh cool
The shows happening now, isn't it? 40k I mean
it is
i think it was confirmed
they're still working on it
yea
Brandon Sanderson seems to have written a lot of stuff, or is it all part of Stormlight lore?
he created cosmere
from what I hear about that guy he just churns out books
But it doesn't matter if you don't get them all
which is a universe that has all of the works set in
mistborn and stormlight are both cosmere books
they're both in the same universe but set in different worlds
Nothing that hampers enjoyment of any of the series
I see
So like it's cool if you read everything for that stuff, but none of anything else is necessary for either Stormlight or Mistborn
Or the other stories
just remember this YC, same universe, different worlds
I don't personally like grimdark but i think it's pretty great as a genre
like 40k grimdark
ghost of tsushima?
Like i said i don't enjoy it much but i can appreciate why people like it so much
Game of thrones
ohhhh
yeah personally i liked lord of the rings better
Yeah so like that's the thing grimdark is new and fresh and revolutionary (relatively speaking)
you know the exact definition for grimdark confuses me
isn't it basically everything is screwed?
And the world in grimdark is very different from tolkienesque high fantasy
its also a subgenre
Watching The Whale in a bit
Idk the exact definition either but it is essentially what you said everything ( or a lot of things at least ) are screwed
But most important for grimdark i think is the characters
warhammer 40k ||in the case of warhammer the galaxy is screwed no matter what ||
Like there typically isn't really any defined protagonists or antagonists
Like morally conflicted characters, anti heroes, complicated politics are some of the things typical in grimdark
It's actually hard for me to tell exactly what grimdark is
warhammer 40k ||but there was hope in it which i think is different from it||
Idk i don't think that makes it not grimdark
warhammer 40k ||well yeah but suprisingly it has more hope than i thought from it ||
Like i think the main appeal for grimdark that i have heard from fans of it is that the stories are intensely character driven and a these characters have flaws and strengths and the types of difficulties and choices they face are very relatable as there is hardly ever a "correct" choice
nah
Like it resonates more with them in that sense that it is a lot more life like than something like a quest to slay a dark lord which is essentially just clear cut bad easy choice vs a good difficult choice
grimdark essentially is more an aesthetic
Idk how to put it in words since I myself don't really enjoy it all that much lol
Tho ig that is true for a lot of other stuff too
I probably shouldn't try to explain stuff i don't understand to others

I can barely explain stuff i do understand anyways
i mighta seen some as a kid but def forgot most if not all
and i was watching btas religiously
Babylon is insane
I can definitely see why its divisive
One of the most ambitious films this year, but i loved it
real ones remember
barely anyone remembers the discovery kids cartoons
but CN, nick, and disney were so hot back then
babylon trailer looks wild to say the least
prolly not my cup of tea but when it comes to streaming i'll watch it if i can
def worth seeing in cinemas
what is?
wednesday : || fact i think the way enid sinclair dressed was like Mars argo and they come up with name sinclair to ex boyfriend of mars argo, titanic sinclair i love their music|| 🤓
just an audio file i found, no singing and i'm not sure if it's an instrumental to a song or what
watched ep1 of Pantheon
its good
probably will complete it
Got my imax tickets for way of water
January first, never seen anything in imax before so I’m very excited
im jealous
no imax where i live 💔
does anyone that has played world of warcraft watched glass onion?
Glass Onion ||LOL I love Dave Bautista's character's mom||
Babylon I think? @feral kettle have you seen it?
@brave orbit finally starting Words of Radiance
Nice
Zoolander memes are everywhere so is it worth the watch?
its ok
pretty mid
when are you getting back to mistborn

ehm
Also you guys are evil
I keep thinking it's @undone junco pinging me with his reaction
🖕
so you can think its me pinging you with my reaction but its not
i am very very close to watching it though
like a few minutes away
maybe...
Don't ping him on the actual reaction
He deserves it
Tell him 3 days later you posted it
i will ping him without my reaction
I will ping you on spoilers without spoilers
Run for your life!
I wish people would go back to shooting movies on location instead of on green screen
I can always tell when its being used too
oh its 46 minutes
lets fucking goooooo
oh boy there are 201 episodes
wtf @brave orbit
this is a lot
this better be good enough
Yessir
i will take my time with this probably, might watch something in between every season
AHHHHHHHHHH
🏃

yes it’s great

BCS series end
BCS SERIES END|| 🥹 I saw this video||
True..
BCS series end + BB END || I feel like it's much more emotional than BB end||
BCS / BB end + El Camino || Walt's death was great but you learn to love to hate Walter. You want the absolute best for Jesse and that's what he gets in the end, Saul being incarcerated over his actions and confessing to everything is such an amazing character arc, coming from poor habits to slowly becoming a better person out of it||
BCS / BB end + El Camino ||Yeah||
BCS / BB end + El Camino ||🥹 It's so good with the amount of thought went into these characters ||
BCS / BB end + El Camino|| It's truly a work of art||
I hope they leave the universe as is rn
BCS / BB end + El Camino ||Wonder what they got in for store next||
Slippin' Jimmy is deemed non-canon fortunately
Did BCs just end?
no
it ended in August I think
just had a spark of discussion
Ended a few months ago
Knives Out 2 and the latest critical role ep still in my head
it was more like a few weeks
No it wasn't lol
we were discussing the final eps as they were coming out
yeah
I can't remember that
Didn’t get a chance to see it today and probably won’t tomorrow
Fuckin dope

Yeah I'm busy today and tomorrow as well
First is one of my favourite movies
2 is bigger in scope but still as funny and biting
One of the funniest movies this year for sure
I didn’t get to see knives out 1 or 2 in theatres

maybe you're right
maybe it was in DMs actually?

can't recall
I can't remember
but me you and mtz
were talking about it
Mtz is in the server again I think
I seen him
and we talked for abit
a bit
hold on lemme send you something
suuuuuuuuuure
dr who 2005 s1 || twas great, outdated visual effects are a little off-putting but its hardly a big deal and I didnt expect any more from the visuals anyways. Already really liking the Doctor and Rose, very cool setting and I already mentioned it before but again, I love time travel and stuff so this is just made for me.||

|| oh its also pretty funny!!||
||yeah, them british boys can really do it, they are funny ||
this doesnt mean i will watch the Uk's office tho
dr who series 1 ||"If you are an alien why does it sound like you are from the north?"
"Lots of planets have a north!"||
Yup
i am gonna try to watch a few more now, will update if I really have to say something because i just want to watch more for now
btw you can just say series 1
seasons are for the earlier stuff
series for the reboot
alright
Drwho series 12 || watched Can You Hear Me last night but I’m gonna have to rewatch it before I can move on because I fell asleep 30 minutes in and missed the climax 😑 ||
there's a ton of different version of Calvin & Hobbes at the library and idk what to get
actually-
@modern lichen you might know
is this what i'm looking for
What do you wanna read?
All of it?
Then yeah that's what you're looking for
Idk what all each of the collections contain specifically
But this one has all of it
Every c&h ever
Ok so this one is a collection of like everything C&H
The others are subsets afaik
Summary:
`Join Calvin and Hobbes on all their adventures in this three-volume hardcover collection of every comic strip from the comic strip's eleven year history (1985 to1996).
Calvin and Hobbes is unquestionably one of the most popular comic strips of all time. The imaginative world of a boy and his real-only-to-him tiger was first syndicated in 1985 and appeared in more than 2,400 newspapers when Bill Watterson retired on January 1, 1996. The entire body of Calvin and Hobbes cartoons published in a truly noteworthy tribute to this singular cartoon in The Complete Calvin and Hobbes . Composed of three hardcover, four-color volumes in a sturdy slipcase, this New York Times best-selling edition includes all Calvin and Hobbes cartoons that ever appeared in syndication. This is the treasure that all Calvin and Hobbes fans seek.`
Yeah so basically what I said. This has everything, the others are subsets of it
so like it doesn't matter to get the others, as they're just for fun?
Watched Avatar 1 first time since I watched it as a kid.
Good movie
Yeah like different collections, but the one you sent has everything
Visuals definitely the best thing about it tho. It looks insane than most movies nowadays still, even when the tech has come so far lmao
gotcha
It's more expensive and stuff so the others are for people who can't find/afford it
I have it's a magical world one, it's got a great set of comics
shit, nvm
the individual books/volumes within the slipcase
the 3 below are in repair as it's like a collection and limited print ig
dunno what "vol 4" is then
Yeah that's what confused me

Basically entirely based on Spielberg's life
The Fabelmans ||i loved how personal it felt yea||
||That last scene is basically "How can he be anything other than a filmmaker"
||
||Also the adjusting of the camera angle after the advice John ford gave him... Amazing ending||
@undone junco fyi, series 1 to 4 is RTD era, 5 to 10 is moffat era, 11 to 13 is chibnall era, then next year is RTD2 era
But RTD2 starts on november
(Just the different showrunners)
In case you want signposts
oh okay

sometime soon
by the amount of criticism you have on it id concluded you watched it already
its just playful slander of the first film (sometimes)
fair enough
glass onion easily the best sequel this year because its not even a sequel
I liked glass onion
You didnt like glass onion?
you liked it, fed?
avatar 2 is better than glass onion?
no
lol
its a movie about a uninteresting side character from a 20 year old movie
Uninteresting side character 🗿
most people see a movie a month n most people gonna see avatar 2
but puss in boots 2 also wasn't marketed too well
I didn't know there was a new puss in boots movie
william talking about uninteresting side characters when he's an avatar fan
its hilarious
the main character himself is the most uninteresting among uninteresting cardboard cutouts
puss in boots 2 looks fuckin amazing
cuz i dont care that much
imagine unironically being a blue aliens fan
i wonder if we'll ever get a batman-verse movie one day
seeing multiple villains would be dope
harsh always finding a way to bring up avatar
you keep giving me ammunition
Yet he’s paying for a viewing
I'm not, I'm with a bunch of family friends
They're paying for it
Nothing out of my pockets 😭
I think I'm gonna start my harry potter movie marathon tomorrow
I do it every christmas
nice
ooo nvm they're on peacock so I'll start the first 3 on there and finish with the blu rays
Yes, way better
Violent night is definitely a movie
Isn’t it more adulty home alone
Glass onion is such a good movie
Wanted to see it but my car died twice in the span of a week
Watched some of the boys
I did indeed
Is that the Tobey Maguire movie?
What’s it about?
Why wasnt it for you? (I havnt seen it)
It's about the period of transition from silent movies to sound in the 1920s
Yooo was in Hyderabad and went to the book fair
Got a good haul
A 1950 copy of A sign of Four and a Study in Scarlet
ZAMN
A first print Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in prime condition
My first ever manga ( Berserk vol 1 )

And a super old, super frail 1949 print of Pride and Prejudice that I gifted to my friend
Seems like you spent well above 10K INR there lol
Cuz those old edition should cost you a ton
Also saw a 1953 edition of Nehru's letters from a father to his daughter i couldnt get my hands on
You won't believe this
I spent under 1k
They were all just lying around in 2nd hand book stalls
Nah I can believe it. Some used bookstores can surprisingly have great ones
For like
100-350 a book
The Jane Austen cost me 400 but that was a gift anyways so well spent
Good shit, aka
Somebody bought it right in front of me

Indeed, was worth coming to Hyderabad for this alone
Heck i will probably come again next year if it's gonna be this good
Gonna send pics once I am home
Was a great day

You even got a better deal than this then lol
Indeed
My friend paid like 800 for a really old Robert frost collection
That shopkeeper knew the worth of his books lol
Lol
Still
Remarkable haul for under 1k
This is why book fairs and second hand stores and street markets are worth the effort
Talks like this just reminds me of a Ruskin Bond story regarding him having first prints of some classics that Rusty's father (not stepfather) gave him. The story was regarding him having to unhaul them
Yeah
Speaking of hauls, got myself this today
Well, for such a deal, it was worth it
I got 4 for myself apart from that
Yeah
Lol that was actually 1973, got confused between 1950 and 50 years old
Still dope copy tho
doctor who series 1 ep8 || wtf I got rickrolled||
also @brave orbit I'll prolly be done with season 1 today
yeah...

i mean its pretty good smh
Based based based
Thoughts on ep 6
best one so far
|| the tension in that whole ep was off the charts, really felt like nothing could possibly stop this being. Actually am pretty sure nothing could actually stop it lol, I know I said the outdated VFX are a bit off-putting but I thought the action scenes were pretty incredible despite that||
dr who series 1
||The dalek design is just timeless, its an actual on set prop|| dr who series 1
its so cool
ooh, didnt know that
gonna finish this ep now, i just stopped because || Rose's dad just rickrolled me smh||

I just want wild shit from Ncuti Gatwa as the doctor
Rtd shall deliver
||I hope ncuti's doctor is cynic, it seems like thats what rtd wants the show to be next|| doctor who upcoming
Im so excited for the spinoffs
1973 Sherlock Holmes I picked up at the fair
A study in scarlet and the sign of four
Picked this up
Pog. Enjoy
The series doesn't pick up for most people a couple of books into.the series btw
This will be my reading once I’m done with the A Song of Ice and Fire books
Thank you my man
Nobody is in this Chanel 😕
@undone junco watched 9 and 10?
Watched Avatar 2 today.
Pretty good.
Visuals definitely the best thing about it tho.
Climax carried it
yeah the first half of it was pretty
ur crazy
Who
just starting 10 now
||Tho I did enjoy the exploration of the water tribe (forgot their name, meticaya or smth) and their customs, and the worldbuilding that it brought. || avatar 2
man i need to watch avatar again, i watched it when i was like 11
and that movie is already pretty forgettable
Thoughts on ||Captain Jack?|| doctor who series 1
I watched it like when I was 6-7. Rewatched it yesterday for today's Avatar 2 watch
I didnt rewatch but the plot is pretty basic
ye.
Its a simple story in both movies. The world is the interesting thing about it
And how the visuals delivered in that
he's cool
love the actor, he played my fav character from Arrow
yeah

@dim hedge glad you loved RRR, what's your favorite scene?

RRR ||there are like 5 or 6 action sequences in the movie that just keep blowing my mind on a progressive scale, starting from Ramaraju's introduction, Bheem's introduction, the bridge scene, the intermission (animals at the party) [keep in mind, this collectively made the theatre gasp as it happened], and then the climax||
RRR ||the scene that hooked me into how awesome this movie was going to be (i never expected rajamouli to go as hard as he did with the introductions) but Ramaraju's introduction has not a single line of dialogue from him and the character is built entirely through what he does in that scene and how he communicates emotions through his eyes, its just sheer determination and will held on a goal that made the action so visceral to watch||

Just watched the Torchwood audio called "Tropical beach Sounds and other relaxing seascapes volume 4"
That was fucking great
Holy shit
Tropical beach Sounds and other relaxing seascapes volume 4 ||This is basically a self-helf tape set in a beach, except it turns much darker and twisted over time||
Its super experimental
Anyone seen industry?
Fuck all is what it has to do with 😂
just saw the movie The Lighthouse
kinda felt the same thing with Perfect Blue where the visuals were great but i lost the plot to such an extent that i became less invested
end was awesome though
skill issue
Dr who series 12 || The Haunting of Villa Diodati! That was super good. An easy top 3 in 13’s run so far. Probably the most atmospheric episode in this series, the lighting and the way it was shot made everything cozy and a bit spooky. The doctor was definitely at her best this episode, intelligent and capable. “This is not a flat team structure, it’s mountainous. With me at the summit, in the stratosphere, all alone” might my favorite line in this series. The companions got adequate breathing room as well with each member of the cast too and they didn’t feel all crammed together like they usually do (although graham stole the show as usual), and even a classic “logical explanation for the ghosts except that one instance that may have been a real ghost” at the end. I’m very cautiously optimistic for the last two episodes of the series now. ||
|| also. Ghosts that turn out to be cybermen?
sounds familiar……………
||
crazy how batman 2022 still clears avatar far out of the water
also thor and black panther didn't release in china and avatar did
not sure about batman
exactly
||Amen brother, but lower your expectations || doctor who series 12

nice
@undone junco progress?
dr who series 1 ep12 || so you are telling me there are half a million of these things now wtf||
|| i wonder if some time lords survived too||

Dr who series 1 ep 12 || "No."||
Breaking Bad || Breaking Bad is such a great series i wish overqualified chemistry teachers making meth was a real thing ||
Witcher blood origins ||everything I expected this to be. It's another hate show, trying to spread through dislike and being purposefully bad(I hope)|| and now now fake articles and reviews are popping up for damage control
Must be fun when you put in more effort into paying off websites for fluff pieces than you do your own content
What if you arent the target audience
The original Witcher Netflix show sucked already so no big deal
What's the target audience..?
@tall carbon didn’t wanna send this in the manga channels but lol https://www.vulture.com/2022/12/avatar-sequel-announcements-timeline-james-cameron.html
LMFAO
jesus
but I still dont really understand, why the huge backing for this series specifically
its jsut cause, I associate cash cows with something thats easy to make and release
The most commercially viable filmmaker ever alongside Steven Spielberg, it will happen
this is some long term cash cowing
James Cameron should just have adapted a good fantasy series with this freaking visuals than the story that's in the movies
I guess its more unique that its a movie only story tho
even if the story isn't anything ground breaking, as of yet atleast
I think I only watched it in full once, but I was so young at the time that I don’t remember anything from it
almost everyone seems to be in the same boat

I watched the first movie day before yesterday and the second one yesterday
Isn't the story just Pocahontas slightly rewritten?
anyway enough about vfx movies, lets talk about how good Die hard is I've just seen it yesterday for the first time
there is this cool thing I noticed about the movie, Die Hard ||how his tanktop gets more dirty as the movie goes on as he starts to have no problems killing the terrorists, and then by the end straight up taking it off, very cool visual change for the character in comparison to the much more clean Alan rickman||
Die hard ||oh the line about making a fist with your bare feet at the very start of the movie basically coming to play throughout the whole thing I really liked that too||
Die hard ||and McKlein isn't some sort of superhero either atleast not at the beginning, this dude is scared shitless throughout most of the movie, he calls the cops atleast 5 times until they eventually show up||
Die hard ||and even when they did show up he still basically had to do everything himself because they were so incompetent||
avatar korra is mid imo
correct
I heard they're making a new avatar series 100 years after korra's timeline
with an earth bender avatar
finished doctor who series 1 @brave orbit, || It was great, now I don't understand how this face change works, does he like swap places with a dead time lord but retains the memories? its weird||
||also they left my boy jack and with dalek dust too, wonder if thats gonna turn into something big||
if its explained later then no need to explain
Doctor who series 1 ||He just regenerates his body||
wtf
Also watch the next minisode

doctor who || how does that even work lol, is every doctor ever just the same person ? i know there are like 13||
Mhm
wack
oh alright
Ya. They seem to have announced a lot of content ahead of time. I think their endgame is a firebender in the space age
||he has 12 regenerations total then he dies, he also dies if he gets killed in the middle of the regeneration|| doctor who
ah
||Ecclestone is his ninth face, tennant is 10th|| doctor who
also are there any other relevant spinoffs or specials that i need to know about?
aside from the christmas specials
yeah
I want an arc where they completely remove the avatar from existence
like, killing the avatar while in the avatar state
It's a great universe to work with. I also think it would benefit from no avatar. Even if it's having it removed from the conflict or uninvolved due to location
Well... Do you wanna watch the spinoffs
yeah same
are they important? if no then nah
Well one of them is one of my favourite shows
the avatar is not really something that significant, it's just a wild card and honestly if only two armies from two nations work together the avatar stands no chance
And it is kinda relevant
without plot armor
torchwood?
well I might then
Not really. Different perspectives. No order to it so you can keep enjoying dr who and if you feel like "I'd want to see more of this" one day, give it a go
gotcha gotcha, I will just watch them after I am done with the main series
alright
Doctor who s1 -> Christmas invasion -> doctor who s2 -> The runaway bride -> Torchwood S1 -> Doctor who S3 -> Torchwood S2 -> Voyage of the damned -> Doctor who S4 -> torchwood S3
my condolences arsal
Tennant's run next
when i was thinking "man i wanna watch something in between different seasons" i didnt mean more dr who
😔
It has ||Captain jack|| 👀
could've watched mr robot or something
Alao its an adult spinoff
ok definitely watching it

ok it has less than 50 episodes, dammit
spinoffs of one character should be like one season, 6 episodes idk
well I am gonna start this 2nd season now

All the reason one needs lol
Do you have christmas invasion
i am just watching with stremio now, more convenient that way
has every special
no need to look for it
On the way to me currently
Good comic
It's on Readcomiconline
?
oh neat
I'd never watched Avatar (2009) before
I didn't expect it to be actually good
why didn't anyone tell me wtf
When are you watching the new one
Damn, Skrulls are here already

100 years
Saw confess fletch
Need John hamm to lead more comedies
It's a shame that his career post madmen is so boring
Neat
Man new black panther movie was awesome
(this may come off as recency bias but i prefer it over the first)
Forgot to post this before, ||lmao out here plugging other Marvel magazines 💀|| Fantastic Four #2
I'm seeing quite some positivity when I checked the Twitter hashtag
idk man it converted the witcher subreddit from wholesome into full freefolk
I haven't watched but from the few lines of dialogue I saw it was really funny
Well, the track record of the main Tv show isn't great either
So this isn't a surprise if the fans disliked it
its very likley its a mediocre to bad tv show, but nothing earns that low of a review without review bombing from angry fans
only 1 way to know
Does this channel include movies as well?
Yes
Got this lord of the rings funko pop for Christmas
Thanks
The boys is fire so far
hopefully soon, i hope they dont take it out of the thatre
trust me itll be there a while
but then again its Netflix, so who knows?
im not watching either way tho
Andor is so good
I want to watch a mystery movie
On the same token as Knives out - Knives out 2 - Sherlock (the series with Benedict)
Any suggestions?
is this from a movie?
Clue
Ok
The Game is also a great thriller
.
idk many murder mysteries
Watch an ep from Agatha Christie's Poirot
They are around movie length from S3 onwards
If you're confused by the sheer quantity start with murder on the Orient express or death on the Nile or Five Little Pigs
Or just pick a random one they all pretty good
And they are also all mostly standalone so no need to worry about order
oooo I have a video for meek
Director Rian Johnson talks to BBC Radio 1's film critic Ali Plumb about his movie Knives Out, in our latest archive interview from last year. He explains how casting James Bond himself was the key to getting the movie made. Plus, they dig into the classic murder mysteries that inspired the film, Rian hints at a sequel, and all is revealed about...
here's the director himself giving examples of good murder mystery movies
It is simply incredible
the menu sorta
Tell them to read poirot
And Miss Marple
And Tommy and Tuppence
Idk movies but just read Agatha Christie, Sherlock, some Richard Osman,
Harsh has some good recs of Japanese detective fiction in the pins too. Have read a couple from that one and they were great
@bronze rapids
Mystery movies:
-Clue (hilarious comedy parody of the mystery genre)
-See How They Run (a recently released delightful whodunnit)
-The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (an incredibly good but edgy mystery thriller, David Fincher style)
-Murder on the Orient Express (1974) (The most faithful adaptation of the famous Christie novel and visually realized wonderfully)
-Decision to Leave (Park Chan Wook's latest masterwork, wonderful mystery and love story)
Murder on the Orient express is just
hadn't heard of the first two there

My mom wanted to watch it today as well, so will probably also be watching knives out 2
Avoiding all the trailers for this movie was a great idea
All i knew was the cast and the poster
Loving it so far
yeah I didn't know shit about it either
Definitely
Glass onions has joined the first in my top 10 movies of all time
God i wish i saw this in theatres
Netflix

It was out in theatres for only short while or smth, no?
Right Netflix
Yeah
The primary audience was Netflix
The fucks that ruined witcher
What if Mistborn adaptation will be on Netflix...
Glass onion || the big reveal and the flashback
, also went back to check the scene with duke and the glass after Blanc revealed it which was cool, the ending
||
|| I really hope we keep getting sequels with Blanc and new casts ||
Favourite movie of the year
I am gonna pretend the adaptation doesn't exist ( assuming it's produced by Netflix )
If it is just on Netflix not produced by them we surf the 7 seas
Glass onion || love the setting so much ||
I am not renewing my subscription once it expires in March
LETS GO BURIIII
I was expecting it to be good
But i am somehow blown away
If theres a third I’m doing whatever i can to see it in theatres
Missed both this one and the first
I watched the first one in the theatres
Loved it so much that me and my friend just spent the entire way back raving about the details
I wish I watched this one in the theatres as well but eh, I enjoyed it on Netflix regardless
I wish i could get my friends to see it
Plans to watch Avatar 2 cancelled today because a friend looked online for reviews and didn't think it was just worth more than 3 hours for the visuals alone
I feel like rewatching glass onion already
I'm not joking at all
silly
I'll watch it with someone else later
He's not wrong lol James Cameron has tech demo vibes, and cgi feels lifeless to a lot of people
That's a looong movie
yeah well, i will watch it later i guess
I’d say knives out was better but glass onion is still good
Glass onion ||The best part of the movie is how it's all based on amongus and i was right about that
. I told my mom, "There's definitely gonna be 10 people on the island now that they showed among us. Then they have the random ass guy that represents the dude who doesnt give a shit when you play amongus. You have the lights going out and someone dying and then everyone become a sheeple||
ok
And i was thinking it was a shit movie, but
i never thought in the possibility of someone liking the movie, but ok
feeling blue, huh...
I think I'm gonna wait for the Blu-ray to be released
not watching it on theater, I trust Venge's opinion
Is about the first one, Laz, I've not seen the second one yet
ah, well I'm gonna trust the rotten tomatoes ratings then
I don't have James Cameron in high esteem tho
Don't worry, I only liked a few of his movies
Terminator was awesome, Alien exceeded suspense standars
Titanic is meh
A telemundo level of drama
@undone junco update 😠
just finished the special and ep 1, about to watch episode 2
laugh at this user ^

Tennant time 😻

anyone watched the new Puss in Boots?
apparently it's one of the best animated movies, on the level of spiderverse

Willing to believe it
The first movie was really fun too
I bet the story is easily better than blue aliens
Ozark is gud
Would you recommend it over buzz lightyear and the Martian?
I didnt watch
No Matilda
havent seen that
I recommend glad onion over both
Just finished it
Lol
Couple of hours ago for me
I mean the Martian is a very serious movie
While puzz and buzz are lighthearted
So I'm like
Is it the time to watch heavy stuff?
It's 2am
Glass onion is really good bonus point for janelle Monae
O shit it's 2am
