Thing with fantasy adaptations is they cost a fuck ton of money to render an accurate world, so usually the world is much lower in quality compared to what the books do

Like one of the things that made LoTR and GoT so good were how well they showed the special stuff like magic and dragons and landscapes and stuff

All the evil he committed for the supremacy of his house is supposed to come around and have all he built crumble apart like a house of cards after his death, between sabotage, incompetence, and the lack of a strong, feared figure to hold it all together. Without the fear there’s only hate. And the Targaryens presumably eventually coming in to deal the killing blow. Maybe they thought they needed a more menacing antagonist for Dany when she comes back but that’s not supposed to be Cersei lol. She’s dangerous in her own way but she’s not Tywin 2.0 (that’s Tyrion ironically).|| GoT

Cersei is totally different from Tywin and they just suddenly in a very jarring way shift her character into being a 4D mega genius who's alway 3 steps ahead of even Tyrion who's reduced to a bumbling fool who can't make good decisions for the life of himself in those later seasons. Many examples of him just being an utter fool so much so that his last good advice was for Dany to not go to save Jon and the others in the north ||
