|| It’s been a while since I’ve read this so I forgot some of it, but it was still really good. Brandon does a really good job fluidity; the whole fight with Szeth and the King is constant greatness. I’ve read very little books so I didn’t expect something like a fight to be this good of an experience. Anyways, can’t wait to read chapter 1 tomorrow. ||

Sandman E5, Comics issue #6 || i read up to the point that I have watched, NGL I kinda like some of the changes the show makes to the comics. The modernisation is fine, is done well enough that it still maintains the atmosphere of the show so is alright since ig it help bring in younger audiences.
Dream himself I definitely really like in the show too, tho he is pretty different compared to the comics. They kinda mellowed his overall looks which is fine for me, and sturridge's voice fits what I would expect of Dream and his voice acting rocks, just love it.
Apart from the some of the plot changes kind of humanize him significantly, like the interaction with the gargoyle and him gifting the egg to the brothers. Helps add a little drama too. Haven't read beyond that so idk how that affects plot further down the line, but i like the changes in the show.||
