They clearly weren't there intentionally because they heard him, or why would they be shocked
??
Because they didn't understand how someone would be talking underwater
or why luffy would be there
There is zero indication that they heard anything, so you can't submit this as evidence.... come on
I missed that text, but I can't tell if they heard him or they heard momo say "luffy told me he will be back", he spoke into the speaker snails
momo is on onigashima, they wouldn't be able to hear him
he's speaking to the snails that kaido has, all of which are on onigashima
i am starting to reach now myself, but I'd believe first that they have some audio equipment down their to listen for signals. (as submarines would normally have). I'll agree its evidence now, but I'm not sure. "speaking in the water" is itself a bit nebulous, what did he say, or are they referring to him projecting haki, like when kaido said "he's still glaring at me"
they would be referring to him using the voice of all things, which they don't understand. They wouldn't have the equipment to hear momo, since what momo used to communicate is a kaido specific communication device
My impression was that they heard him due to submarine sonar
I think I do believe that Luffy used the voice, and that Shanks was also using the voice on GB
Yea, I mean I could end up being wrong, but this is the impression I think makes the most sense rn
I do still believe my own theory that Shanks forced GB out of his forest man mode and back to base form, using whatever he did
No film red discussion here please
Chapters ending in 56 (Gomu) tend to be pretty important, which could be pretty hype for 1056
56- Sanji Backstory/All Blue
356- Tom Death/Franky Backstory
456- Oars introduction
556- Doflamingos Speech/Luffy enters the war
656- Kinemons Introduction (kinda)
856- Sanji wants to go back to the Sunny
956- BIG NEWS!
Even the less important ones are still somewhat significant to their respective arcs
156- Bon Clay introduction/Countermeasure (the Xs that are later important in Vivis farewell)
256- Enels Survival Game begins
756- Rebecca and Diamante meet
Okay so i’ve made a little theory about pluton while i was falling asleep:
What if Pluton was a warship that "ate" a Devil Fruit? (a Zoan actually)
My headcannon is that this is the reason why they had to seal it underwater, so the fruit can’t reactivate. Opening Wano, which means destroying walls and so making all the water free, would allow Pluton to awake.
I like to imagine it as a ship which consumed the Lion Zoan, or maybe even a mythological one (Komainu?)
Pluton would then be a giant Lion, maybe as big as Zunesha, and immortal as it is not a living being but a ship animated by its fruit’s will.
This also might be the reason why Franky, who saw the blueprints of Pluton, decided to make the Sunny as a lion-headed ship!
Can't be as big as Zunesha, since we saw Zunesha towering over, at the very least, the beggining of Wano after climbing the waterfall.
If it was that big, Jack would've seen it while scourging for the Road Phoneglyph. And Law and Robin would've also seen it.
I meant when it is in its devil fruit form. It has to be in its ship form right now, as it can not transform due to water, but i think it could get as big as Zunesha when freed. (see how Kaido and Momo get much bigger than they normally are when in dragon form, so what about a warship transforming?)
i imagine if it was a ship with a devil fruit id would think about it being an aquatic creature. like maybe fish fish fruit model: something. it would drown otherwise
All DF user drown when in water. Fish Fruits would make them drown too. The only DF users that can't die when drowning are fishmen, as demonstrated with Jack.
Once they touch the water, they wouldn't be able to transform and would sink. If it was a zoan battleship, the ship would be useless. Not very ultimate weapon in that case.
||the one piece is actually the food-food fruit (not the fucking cook cook fruit, u can turn into food and turn stuff around you into food and also bones (we saw fucking wax wax was hard as steel so why cant bone be as hard as haki? B) ||
Proof?
Makes much sense. But how the existence of a blueprint of it? Btw, pluton is related to magma, so what do u think, in this theory?
Also zunesha might have made all of the zoan fruits becuase zou is the land of minks. all zoan fruits allow people to turn into some type of creature. Also zunesha has been around since joy boy so what if zunesha made zoan fruits and joy boys will was made in a zaon fruit. The hito hito no mi model nika!
Lastly wher know that luffy was the god of the sun so there are 3 morw gods rain earth and forest
The forest god turned out to be green bull
So the god of rain in probably dragon becuase dragon was there when luffy was saved by lightning striking the executiom stand and it was really rainy and stormy so maybe dragim has the weather/wind fruit
And maybe
Imu is the earth god becuase imu was the strongest person in the world goverment and where the throne sits its like a room with sunlight nature all around like a forest it is bare earth and imu sits on the throne imu practically holds the most power in one piece and earth is basically how everyone survives so its would be the strongest fruit
No one relized that a lot of the stuff here in one piece has norse mythology bc oda liked viking heres from a certain amazing person 1minute cd

Told ya
i dont agree with this. as you can see in the previous chapter that haki could change the weather and create lightning out of nowhere. so i dont think dragon is a fruit user at least not yet.
there was a theory that Luffys final words to kaido when kaido asks what he wants were the same words luffy said to shanks which shanks said was the same as Roger's words ("I want a world where my friends can eat as much as they want")
That definitely supports that theory
Blueprints were made to counterattack if Pluton was awakened again, as the only way to fight it is to use an equal force (this is said in water 7, not a theory). I think it explains how to build the ship, and maybe shows that it has to eat a devil fruit, which is why vegapunk was searching about making objects consuming fruits and cp9 needed blueprints: to build their own pluton and protect themselves.
Tbh i don’t really know about that magma part, i just made the assumption that pluton was under the poneglyph but not as deep as the magma is lol.
-> Something i just thought about, the solution to make ship consume a DF might actually be to make its klabautermann eat it
Tje only thing I like that I don't see it get mentioned enough
There must be a reason why Vegapunk started feeding DF to objects. Definitely
Impossible , or else the WG wouldn't bother to go after Franky's plan. It wouldn't be able to be reproduced. However, being able to manipulate it would require a certain.. knowledge, or power
well I think this chapter they leave wano, which means yamato joins officially and they say goodbyes
Remember that Vegapunk tried to clone devil fruits and make objects consume them 👀
He tried, but as far as we know he did not succeed, he just succeed in replicating their effect - ex - laser beam etc. Only example we have so far is Momo's who was deemed a failure.
Another point : They absolutely do not know what are the ancient weapon and how they work, if we are to believe their knowledge about Nika's, it's just legend and rumors, it's the only thing they got. It'd be doubtful for them to know how Pluton work exactly. My money is just that they know it's in wano, probably know that's a ship and what it could do, but that's all.
( And if they knew what were those ancient weapon, Shirahoshi would be locked down )
My bet is the following, the three weapons were used to terraform the planet.
- Poseidon, divide the seas as they are now thanks to the sea king commands ( ex : calm belt )
- Pluton, make new land and line to divide them ( red line , reverse mountain )
- Uranus, control the weather and the climate ( no winds in calm belt , for example )
Those three were used by the Ancient Kingdom to stop the advance of the Soon to be WG toward their " capital ". It's been called, "Ancient Weapons" but the truth is, when looking at Shirahoshi, I'm not sure it was manufactured as a weapon. It's probably a power transmitted down the line of the Fishman royalty that awakened on precise timing.
In the ancient time JoyBoy (or the king of the Ancient Kingdom ) probably made a truce with the Fishman to use the power of the current Mermaid Queen to fight against the WG.
Since it was a terrible power, it's been labelled as a " Weapon " by the victor of this war.
The Ancient kingdom was probably desperate enough to terraform and remake the whole map of the planet to stop their enemy and it made many casualties and tragedy around the population that in the end was used by the WG to labeled them as " Devil ". Many kingdom rallied the WG crusade to stop the Ancient Kingdom and it was their downfall.
Following that theory, it's possible that Laugh Tale or whatever will be inspired by the Atlantis mythos.
An ancient and mysterious civilisation that was advanced enough and ended up sunked beneath the sea after a great cataclysm.
Based on this, maybe the people of the moon came down on the planet and mingled with the current living species there, helped them advanced through technologies and made them learn many things. But there were kinda religious people that feared them and began to try to stop them , seeing them as evil and that their " gift " were poisoned ( the C.D probably, who talk a lot about " GOD " ) , they launched a crusade against them and the Ancient Kingdom's power.
This Ancient Kingdom was probably not nice nor good, there were probably people inside that abused their power and their technologies, maybe Imu sama or whomever betrayed them and used their power to be seen as " gods ", and in the end did everything to crush their own people.
BB maybe inherited the will of this " traitor " and wants to rule above all.
Wait this doesn’t make sense. If sukiyaki was in secret room which secret room only way to get to road poneglyth during orochi rule then shouldnt oden have noticed sukiyaki was in room as oden was able to get to wano’s red poneglyth?
He could have swam to the Road Poneglyph. There’s more than one way to get there afaik
What do you mean swam?
I mean the same way Fishman Jack found the poneglyph. That or there’s more than one way to reach this Poneglyph
But sukiyaki never really explained how jack found the red poneglyth, sukiyaki just mention “kaido was able to find red poneglyth in no time because they had a fishman in their crew” but thats about it. If there was another way to wano red poneglyth then shouldnt sukiyaki has reveal where other way to road poneglyth is
Sukiyaki did explain how Jack found the Road Poneglyph: he swam underwater and found a “hole” in the base of Mt Fuji that led to this Poneglyph.
Ah i see but i dont get why oden would just swim to road poneglyth when going to secret room would be fast option to get wano red poneglyth
Tbh swimming would actually be the most covert way he can get a copy of the Poneglyph imo. The alternative is for Oden to covertly enter the Flower Capital, infiltrate Shogun Orochi’s castle, navigate to the secret room, and open the stairway to make his way down to the Road Poneglyph. It’s a lot more work and has a higher risk than simply swimming underwater
Oh yeah thats true
It's been 99 chapter since Dragon's last appearance (956) so I'm guessing he might appear in this next chapter. Another reason as to why this might happen is what was just revealed about sabo. He could reunite with sabo after this.
Yeah we should be getting a revolutionary side view on all this pretty soon
Roger had a fishman, so...
Like, my take was that Oden DIDN'T come into Wano, he just told them how to enter and where it was and how to get it and a small number of people went inside Wano and quickly took the Phoneglyph, cuz there's no fucking way Oden would've entered Wano and SEEN how it was and NOT STAY.
Sorry if I am late to the party, but after my conversation with @primal cargo and @ashen surge about Wano's formation, I think we actually got some really solid information that we can start to build theories around:
In the map of Wano as we know it today, we see a lot of little islands all centered around Mt Fuji. After 1055, we now know that Wano as a whole was basically always just Fuji and later on, people moved up onto another part of the volcano once the lower, original Wano began to flood. What is interesting is how we are even explicitly shown dotted lines where old Fuji used to end and where the new Wano was formed, in the lowest image of Wano.
So that means we have the following:
-
800 years ago, Wano did not have giant walls and was actually a much bigger country than current Wano. It was actually pretty giant when you compare how big it used to be to how much land is in Wano.
-
At some point, the walls of Wano were constructed. These walls are ungodly tall and surround the entire country. I think we can conclusively say the mountains surrounding Wano and turning it into a fortress were man-made through some means. Whether this is through the use of Pluton or some other devil fruit or maybe even Uranus, who knows. Since Zunesha is essential to opening Wano, I wonder if Zunesha was essential to closing Wano. I suppose you could argue Zunesha would be capable of just moving a bunch of rocks to make a giant fortress for Wano. Regardless, Zunesha has the ability to open Wano, which we now know means eliminating their rock wall.
-
Wano began to flood and new Wano was made. Islands were added to Wano and they float on the water. This is yet another example of floating islands in One Piece, seemingly man-made, just like Jaya. As a reminder, in oder for the knock up stream to shoot a piece of Jaya into the white sea, it must have been floating to begin with. Since this happened about 400 years ago, it is possible Jaya was formed the same way as Wano
Right now Salmy's theory about Pluton building the red line is looking better than before to me, but it still feels like there must be some other component to it. Its just so much to build. Either way, I just wanted to put these thoughts together and see if anyone has anything else to add. To my knowledge this is the first time we have positive confirmation giant formations of rock can be built at will and that floating islands can be created or placed at will.
I dunno how to place images within text, so forgive them for all being at the end lol
What if Uranus is hidden somewhere within the Red Line?
After all, it is theorized that Uranus is some sort of weather changing weapon and that would explain why the Grand Line was this shitty with weather, constantly changing and being fucking crazy.
Somehow the WG uses their weather science in combination with Uranus to make the Grand Line impossible to wander into so it deters people from finding Laugh Tale.
As I said, unlikely that the WG had Uranus. It's likely that those weapons were all hidden when the AK fell.
If my theory is true, the formation of the world as we know today was a mean for the AK to protect itself from the WG by adding layers of inconveniencies to navigate and reach the AK easily
As we all know, the AK is still hidden and nobody except Roger's found it, so they prefered to hide everything than letting the WG get their hands on it somehow.
But the WG seems to know Laugh Tale is a dangerous place for them if anyone gets in and, remember, they also have managed to destroy the D. Clan, which, looking at the CDs, even if their ancestors may have actually been extremely powerful, it seems unlikely they managed to kill most of them without the aid of some sort of weapon.
Besides, the D. Clan might've asked others for help, since the CDs wanted to make sure they're the top dogs of the world, so it benefits everyone if they band together, which is why it makes sense that they isolate this civilization with Uranus' weird weather power and destroys them with Pluton.
I know Poseidon has no place in this theory, but since Sea Kings are native to the planet and CDs might come from somewhere else, I doubt they'd knew there was a third weapon. Hell, considering these are named after planers and only 3 have been named, maybe there is more weapons and the WG only lists the ones they cannot or have not been able to obtain. Maybe they managed to do all their fuckery with other planet-named weapons they possess and aren't known to the current world.
As I suspect, the D. Clan and the AK where not from this planet. They came " from the moon " or whatever. And shared their technology with all. One of them went rogue and tried to use the Knowledge of his / her people to be viewed as a God and manipulated everyone around to destroy their brethren by saying they were " God's ennemy ". the kingdoms who supported this traitor become god's hand and the future Celestial Dragons. So based on this, this " God " used the power of the AK to annihiliate them, and may have a fourth " Ancient Weapon " ( aka the national Treasure ? ) that is not written in history ( history is written by the victor, so it's convenient to " hide " its ace card )
And I think the name of the Ancient Kingdom might be something like " Atlan " or a derived of " Atlantis "
another point : looking at this, it's possible that Oda changed his mind about Laugh Tale appearances mid course.
1- The first image it what we saw in Ohara's speech.
2- Second one is the one we got when Robin spoke about localising it
No tall building, not the same kind of Landscape.
3- And then we have the third image...
God Valley.
In term of landscape, it looks awfully similar , with the spires and such.
Not saying that god Valley IS laugh Tale, but that the Island Clover spoke about was God Valley ( or that Oda Changed the design of Laugh Tale mid course as he made up God Valley )
( You can notice some building under the rocks at the bottom left corner of the third pic, whic could looks like the part circled in the first pic )
What makes you say anything is floating ? From what I can tell the upper land is just stacked onto the side of the mountain
The D Clan is the Dawn Clan, the group who sought to bring the dawn of the era of freedom. They failed 800 years ago when the world government formed to stop them. The leader of the D Clan, that era’s Joy Boy, left behind the three ancient weapons for a future person to use. Neptune has the ability to control sea kings and Pluton can move land masses. The D Clan’s plan was to create a world of all ocean for man to sail freely on. The One Piece is Uranus, the last piece of the three ancient weapons
Extra landmass added via the same method that created the wall is my presumption
Id say its unlikely that the D stands for any English word because as far as I know, they dont use the english word Dawn when talking about the hypothetical Dawn of the World in One Piece. If I had to guess its probably a tilted smile, but who knows
Oh god, imagine if the D. Clan is just D cuz :D.
I'd laugh my ass off.
If Laugh Tale is Laugh Tale then I don’t see why D can’t be Dawn
Characters in the story have the English “D” in their canon names so there’s no reason why it couldn’t be an English word
since we know pluton is a ship, wouldnt it make sense for wano itself to be the ship? opening up the borders would mean the ship can set sail again
After 400 years of not hearing the sound of the bell, Nola became a vicious predator feared by those who stepped foot on Upper Yard. If Nola saw a human, it would relentlessly pursue them with the intent of consuming them whole. However, when the bell was finally rung at the end of the Skypiea-Shandia war four centuries after the Shandia's arrival, Nola was overjoyed to the point of dancing for multiple days nonstop, and became friendly to the Skypieans and current generation of Shandia
What if nola parents or ancestors devoured the moons and there was 7 except the people used the bell to stop nola's ancestors and there was 1 moon left and some if the islands where part of moons as we know the moon controls the tides of the world so if islands were bits of moon its would make sense
Zero film red references or discussion in this channel please, whether spoiler or otherwise
sorry
No worries
There is a clear separation between the land of Fuji and other islands around it. The land is also discontinuous in a way that would not be all a part of the same mountain. And the dotted lines even show the extent to which the mountain was reshaped. Since your theory (as I recall) is that Pluton can be used to reshape islands and make new ones, the fact that Fuji had some material removed and suddenly new little islands were present supports your theory IMO.
Well that makes sense that D is a tilted smile.
So that's why someone said that blackbeard is not a real D iirc
That's probebly why Gold D Roger laughed
wasnt the lightning just a visual for the reader?
What if black blades are forged not through the welder’s Haki, but the blade’s Haki.
We know swords have a will, through cases like Sandai Kitetsu and Enma, where they have desires and such. We know that Haki is derived by one’s will and desire, therefore it isn’t off the table to think a sword can have Haki. After all, objects can also have devilfruit powers. So what if to forge a black blade, you have to let your blade achieve its dream or will, and become partners with the blade, and not use it like a tool. Roger used his sword as a tool, enforcing his will or Haki into it. But to achieve a black blade, one must let the swords will come out, or the swords Haki.
I'm afraid I still don't understand what you mean xd, where did Fuji have anything removed ?
But I'm very into the idea that the 5 regions are floating islands, because it opens the possibility that the land of upper Wano depicted in 1055 is actually just the Flower Capital section, and the others were somehow brought from outside, like thrown over the walls or something.
Artur's recent video brought up Oars who "brought the countries he defeated to his own territory". That would have been a couple centuries after the walls were erected. Could he have been bringing islands to Wano ?
Though that couldn't have been done with Pluton, since it was stuck within the walls already.
Any theories how Buggy became yonko?
true, but if I recall correctly Wano was made by ancient giants or a giant, so it could have been a case where giants gathered and collected islands with materials too
so it could have easily been case where a giant dug up or lifted masses of land and place them in wano, as the sea levels started to rise because of the rain gathering up
I phink its just because he was a shichibukai who was in the Roger crew and somehow he managed to escape the marine and the fact that he was a member of the Roger crew and a brother to shanks made him a yonkou. Maybe the marine phink he was hiding his power
No, we don't know anything about how it was made. We only just learned that it was made at all
My B, I assumed it was stated Wano was believed or said to have been pulled or built by giants
Well that's a popular theory because of what they said about Oars in Thriller Bark (the line I brought up earlier)
On that note, if the regions were added to the country after it was enclosed, then there must have a moment where the noble families of Wano were, like, formally entrusted with the different regions.
Toki's parents, who were part of the Amatsuki family ~900 years ago, were "from Wano". So the family was already living in Wano before the walls, as opposed to getting sent there together with the land of Kuri.
Hell, how about the people native of the og Wano enforced discrimination against the inhabitants of the new islands, and that led to today's class system ?
Anyone think Vivi is with the Revolutionaries
Either that or kidnapped on instructions from Im. Vivi being with the rebels would make most sense since I seriously doubt Oda would kill her and having a member of one of the 20 OG world noble families on the side of the rebels to speak against the tyranny of the Celestial Dragons should help the rebels massively (if Oda plans to let Sabo and the Rebels handle Im and the WG) but on the other hand... If Vivi is captured by the WG, then this would give Luffy and the Strawhats the motivation to declare war on the Celestial Dragons again. Since Luffy already has the motive to beat up BB and the story is heading for the final saga, but otherwise Luffy is not yet interested in taking down the WG (or at least the cruel nobles.)
The reason I think shes with the RA is because IM wanted to get rid of the whole Nefereltari family since they knew too much. If IM wanted them dead, what use would it be to just kidnap her 🙂
my guess is the all blue is the one piece. I've always looked at it this way. The name one piece can be used to represent water of all seas in one place. I really think that all blue is one piece atleast it is connected to one piece somehow
I think the red line is made up of smaller islands because Pluton moved islands to create the red line. Luffy will use Pluton to remove the red line, connecting all oceans to make anyone be able to travel the ocean freely. That is also where the prediction of Luffy destroying fishman island comes from, because fishman island is under the red line it’ll be destroyed in the process but the fishman will have a new place to live on the surface
I think all of the bizarre weather and island placements could be attributed to a previous Pluton moving islands around, Wano included. Some being in the void century had the ability to control Pluton in the same way Shirahoshi controls sea kings. Momonosuke is this generation’s Pluton using Zunesha to move land. That’s why Yamato said Momonosuke has to live after reading Oden’s journal and why it’s Momonosuke’s responsibility to tell Zunesha to open the borders by removing the walls around Wano
Me
Not sure the D clan or the ancient kingdom was All benevolent. I think Imu Sama was a traitor and the last survivor
They don't have to be all benevolent. Their plan failed so they hid their weapon in three pieces around the world in hopes one day someone would enact what they couldn't. Imu could've been the one to betray them and formed the world government to stop them, which is why the world government knows what the one piece is
Imu was the one who led the charge of the twenty kingdoms to stop the ancient kingdom and the D clan who lived there from creating total freedom through the ancient weapons. I’m doing that, the twenty kingdoms were promised control over the world through the celestial dragons. Imu led that attack and crowned himself their leader. In the ancient kingdom and D. Clan’s defeat, that generation’s Joyboy, who was the leader of the D. Clan, left the ancient weapon to be discovered and used in the future to create ultimate freedom. Joyboy left the ancient weapon in three different pieces as to not accidentally be discovered by the wrong person. The One Piece is only one of three pieces of the ancient weapons, Uranus.
@thorn vale @vast echo
Isn't pluton a battleship?
Thank you and you could be right!
What if the marines upon capturing the Warlords offers a parol option?
Like, they're still captured and under the watch and eye on the WG and marines, but they won't be sent to impel down or at least the lower levels, if they work with the WG.
However, unlike being a warlord, you don't gave freedom, you can't go as you please, all pirate activities will be ceased and any allies or affiliates will also be arrested or under watch
it could be a battle ship that moves islands. i find it weird how wano has a bunch of places thta have different climates that dont change. there is a really good theory in the pins about pluton
their is too much evidence to say that yes they were allies
Can you post things in a non-17th century format
sure
Or enemies
Why you give your enemy a war ship
Maybe it wasn't given, but taken.
then why are they so afraid of using it
Do you remember water 7?
yes
Okay lol they probably didn't want to use it bc it's so dangerous. So they buried it. Or maybe waiting for the return of Joy Boy
Might as well delete that. Mods won't like it.
what about the poneglpyphs
Idk I think they made them for a reason though
Oh shoot thanks for the heads up
given that once oden reached laughtale he learned that the ancient weapons where once again needed
Probably, it seems he learned that along the way.
well all of this is just speculation
Hopefully we'll learn a bit more about Pluton before leaving Wano
yeah it is very likely
why crocodile?
Yeah it’s starting to look like the gist of what Oden learned is: “we need to get Pluton ready for when Joyboy shows up”.
could it be that when something "bad" is about to happen to the world Joyboy shows up, which is why oden wanted to get pluton ready
any ideas on the silhouette in the top left of the second to last page of 1055?
can you send a photo
https://imgur.com/a/hD3LZyT i thought it was shanks but that loop on the top side doesnt match anything on him as far as I can tell from this chapter and 1054
100% Uta. The four panels are the four kids from the next generation that he was with previously. Luffy and Uta as well as Momonosuke and Hiyori from when Oden had kids on Roger's ship
big question if joy boy knew things in the future does that mean the fruit has some kind of Time manipulation (that makes the last gear theory)
he could have had the time fruit toki had but i think thats unlikely. or he could have just predicted it
the hands look kinda masculine and the other parts that the loop meets dont match uta super well
Unlikely that the Ancient Kingdom goal was to give true freedom to everyone. As I stated before I think they were an Alien civilisation like Atlantis with superior technology and that they wanted to share and make the world evolve, but some of them believe they were meant to rule lower civilisation and betrayed their brethren for power ( The will of Xebec or BB is reflected through this ) and gathered a lot of followeres and kingdoms against their brethren to crush them because they were opposing them.
AK retaliated with the ancient weapon and transformed the planet as it is as a means to stop the advancement of their nemesis but failed, and by doing so, created many casualties by destroying lands and reshaping stuff.
" The truth is maybe not what you think it is " said Rayleigh. Which drive me to think that the AK was not that innocent and did horrible things too. Joy boy was one of the leader of the AK and tried to stop this mess but failed.
One thing to notice, Joy Boy's title is also " the warrior of Liberation " so there is also something else at play here. Maybe the AK were the bad guys in the end
I don't think AK were bad guys, but I find the Atlantis correlation very interesting.
Personally, I still think the D. Clan are a bunch of natural superhumans who had fruit powers naturally and upon losing to their oppressors, were stripped away from their powers and DFs were created (or at least, they used their genomes to make a tree grow who makes DFs happen, as we've been hinted specially since the beggining that DFs seem to come from a specific tree.
AK might've just been like Wano in the sense that they're naturally very strong and a nuisance/threat if they were to rebel against their oppressors, which is why WG took them out 800 years ago and established themselves as top dogs with little to no opposition.
Luffy’s fruit is the strongest fruit in the series since it gives him toon force which is the ability to LITERALLY do anything, but he still hasn’t mastered it, and when he does he will become the strongest one piece character
Freedom is a very important theme of the story and Luffy’s goal. The one piece is known to make the holder the freest man in the world. Seeing as how Joy Boy left the one piece behind, it’s natural to assume that the ancient kingdom and D. Clan’s goal was to create freedom in some way
And liberation means freedom, so Joy Boy’s title meant he was fighting for freedom. It’s also worth noting that freedom versus law or order versus chaos stories rarely make one side objectively good and the other evil. Even in one piece, Luffy is a pirate and is more of a villain if anything objectively. The D. Clan itself probably isn’t objectively good. They fight for freedom, not “good.” That’s the same reason why characters like Blackbeard and Xebec have the will of D., the side of freedom/chaos isn’t inherently the end all be all of good in stories with such a theme
The D. Clan wanted freedom but with freedom comes danger if anyone can do whatever they want. That’s why the twenty other kingdoms likely gathered under Xebec’s rule to oppose the D. Clan with order, more restrictive but safer. Luffy’s stated multiple times he doesn’t want to be the hero but simply free
I had a thought regarding Luffy's Fruit:
Mythical Zoans are unique within their own type as the Hybrid form varies between fruits. Some may have a standard Hybrid form, Others a more unique hybrid form, and others have no Hybrid form at all, or rather only a hybrid form.
For instance, Kaido's Uo-Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu has a standard set of transformations, being Human, Hybrid, and Dragon. Same with Yamato's Inu-Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami.
However, Marco's Tori-Tori no Mi, Model: Pheonix has no actual Hybrid form, as Marco merely manifests the power of, or transforms parts of his body into that of a Pheonix. Additionally, Onimaru's Hito-Hito no Mi, Model: Onyudo has no hybrid form either, though whether or not that's a result of Onimaru being a fox at his base form is unknown.
Then as a unique outlier, Sengoku's Hito-Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu has no full transformation, rather only a large Hybrid form that is a mix of his features and that of a Golden Buddha.
However, I believe Luffy's fruit is an extremely unique outlier compaired to all of them:
Luffy actually has states that exist between his base form, and his Hybrid form. As to his Hybrid form however, there's only 1 transformation that we can objectively say is the closest: Gear 4.
Gear 4 involves the inflation of Luffy's Muscle structure, combined with an advanced level of Haki imbunement. Additionally, it has 3 Sub-states that Luffy has established, being Boundman, Tankman, and Snakeman. Additionally, prior to his awakening, Luffy's full power was slightly manifested in the way his Culverin attacks seem to bounce off the air itself and redirect the attack. Additionally, in his Hybrid form, as noted by Doflamingo, Luffy's body was still armored, but at the same time rubbery, which normally would've been impossible.
However the true Hybrid form of these states is actually not Boundman, but Snakeman, as Snakeman exhibits the most logic-defying properties with his Culverin and various attacks, compared to Boundman or Tankman. It's my belief that Luffy discovered Snakeman first, then Boundman and then Tank Man by experimenting with the amount of air that he inflated his muscles with. Snakeman actually doesn't have any air in its muscles compared to the other two, while Boundman and Tankman are just larger/inflated versions of Snakeman.
Gear 2 and Gear 3 were substates between his base and hybrid form that he discovered through experimentation with his rubber physique, which is something that I'd like to note could become instinctual to the user after enough time.
So If we narrow down the transformations to the standard range, then Luffy's Human-to-Animal transformations go like:
Base Luffy > Gear 4 Snakeman > Gear 5.
I also have a secondary theory as to why the fruit behaves this way compared to other Mythical Zoans.
All of the people came from space amd rhe moon pirates were left behind
What if will of d means will of dreams becuase roger wanted to turn the world upside down and he did
But a lot of will of D users didn’t fulfill their dreams like Ace
Its stated that Zoan Fruits have a mind of their own, and that because of their nature they tend to influence their users more compared to other powers.
Luffy's fruit, in lieu of this, is also sentient to a degree, and actively sought out individuals who possessed a free-spirited nature, subtly manipulating destiny and reality to make sure those encounters happened. Additionally, because it was being hunted by the WG, who killed Joy Boy, the Fruit altered the manifestation of its powers to appear as a Paramecia, in order to avoid the keen eyes of those who were looking for its true power.
When it was found by the WG finally, It subtly called on Shanks to free it to avoid being used by the people who had killed Joy Boy. It intended to have Shanks take it to its next user, whom the fruit could sense Shanks had a connection with.
Shanks more than likely intended to give the fruit to Ace, but The Fruit never intended to go to him. Rather, it chose Luffy instead, as Luffy was the closest to Joy Boy in nature and personality the fruit had noted in over 800 years.
Nah I doubt shanks was gonna give it to ace. Idk if he even knew about ace at the time
Shanks should no hesitation with anything regarding Luffy having the fruit. He would have been way more pressed if it was for ace
you guys think that maybe the reason for shanks being in wano might’ve been to grab the R poneglyph from right under everyone’s noses..?
This shows how Fuji changed, Oda made dotted lines
I think the only motive Luffy's fruit acts differently in terms of transformations is cuz Luffy is a human who eats a human fruit.
Which means that he can't really transform unless awakened.
He can change the properties of his body due to how his body is rubber (which, as we know, mythicals tend to add more than one ability to the user, which in Luffy's case includes stretching, the ability to inflate himself and his bone structure and a doping-like state where he can pump his blood faster to become stronger and faster at the cost of overexerting and even chipping away his own life if forced to be used continuously.
It is also why Sengoku doesn't appear to have any transformations either, since his is also a Hito Hito.
On Marco, I whole-heartedly agree. The story has told us that, through training and the use of special drugs, one can alter their zoan transformations to partially transform selective parts of their body (Chopper's points and Black Mariah's lower half are the examples, along with Marco), so we know he hasn't busted up his hybrid form yet. I suspect Onimaru's case is due to the fox not being trained or knowledgeable on how to control his powers.
Any ideas/clues to what the one piece is 😅
Not sake
Just reread some chapters.
What if Zuneshas job is to get rid of the big walls surrounding wano?
He awaited that order from Momo, but he decided not to open the borders.. so the next time he pops up, Pluton will be unleashed
I wouldn’t say it’s his “job” more or less he was just capable of immediately doing it.
Theoretically all they would really need is luffys bajrang gun to destroy the walls easily
If he can get to water
Yes, land was added, not removed ?
Likely that shanks doesnt needs it because he already knows the road.
As you can see, all the crew was there when they figured out the road to Laugh Tale
Getting to Laugh Tale isn't like remembering where that one pub was 20 years ago. Unless Shanks saw the navigation data AND has photographic memory, he still needs the instructions to get to it. I will admit that it is possible that he has a copy of the maps and whatnot that Roger's crew made, or even an eternal pose, but ir he doesn't, he would have to do some work to get to One Piece, just like everyone else.
Shanks doesn’t know the way. You can see him being locked out of the room in that page. And then also left on an island with buggy where they don’t see laugh tale.
let me see a confirmed fishman in his crew. i will heavily push how he just got the RP at Wano and nobody even noticed.
He's not locked out on that page. He's knocking on roger's room because he hears him cough. But he's on the deck with all the others that are talking and mapping their course toward Laugh Tale.
The click is roger locking the door after going inside the room with the rest of his crew
even if he does not he can just ask Rayleigh
No way, you can see a movement in the door handle, I'm pretty confident it's him opening the room to join with the others. He was alone in the other room coughing his organs out.
Surely he wouldn't lock the door if he intends to go out immediately after
He wouldn't lock the door anyway, there was no reason to hide anything from Shanks. Especially since Buggy hadn't become sick yet
I see it as Shanks talking to Roger in the hall way, roger enters the door to the meeting room, locks it, and then asks "so have we figured out our destination." Buggy is also not shown in that panel either around the table, so I am assuming the cabin boys are not being privy to the info
Showing 7 characters the average fan couldnt name over Buggy?
Hm well I guess Buggy wasn't there, maybe he was actually getting sick already, but I don't see a reason to assume Shanks also wasn't there given that I don't see why not and given the panel with the door handle
1- that make no sense regarding the panel
2- Shanks knock on the door ( probably locked ) because he heard roger's coughing. saying " are you alright ? " then, Roger OPENS his door and go out asking if ppl figured out the road to laugh tale. The " click" is Roger unlocking the door to go out of his room
I'd say the panelling only makes sense with what i said
if the situation went as you think it did, the panelling would be different
For me the panelling really is more in support of Shanks being in the room for the reasons we said, we'll see
kuina and tashigi are the same person
No, Shanks asks Roger if he's okay, then we see the door click and lock. We then get the page of everyone figuring out the way with Shanks outside. We don't even know if Shanks is the one who was asking, we just see he's the one being locked out.
Someone on reddit commented that "Shanks was on Rogers ship so he knows what One Piece is"
And on replying, him I said
Who are you bro? This line u wrote, I wonder have you even watched One Piece? You say Shanks knows What One Piece is. He doesn't know that's why
1)He wants to go to The Island Where OnePiece Is Located.(as said in chapter 1054)
2) He said it before the Gol D. Roger left for OnePiece that, He and Buggy will go on their own ships if they were destined to go.(as told in chapter 967)
This implies he said to Gol D. Roger and his crew, that even if they found out what is on that Island they don't have to tell them(Shanks and Buggy).
Even if Buggy knew that is asked someone from the crew what was OnePiece, that might not be possibility because in movies he still fight to get info on OnePiece...
And yeah, there might be A possibility that Shanks knows the Location of The Island( 'Possibility' ). But Not sure because when they were locating One Piece Island on map shanks was not shown sitting with them.
Am I wrong?
I also called him dumbFuck...😑
Why did you just randomly insult the poor dude lol.
On what you said, first of, movie canon is not story canon and secondly, we've seen Rayleigh was happy to just, divulge what they found there if anyone wanted to hear it, as seen in Sabaody (most likely due to Robin being there).
I don't like the notion that Shanks knew all along, but it's not unfounded, so I dunno why you went out of your way to be an ass and insult them.
I think they're saying it's him because on the first panel you have a knocking sound (I think ? "Don don don") with the line, and then Shanks in front of the door.
Shanks could have just asked Rayleigh
Man, that's what I said 'Possibility', it's not Confirmed yet. And, Yeah I should not do that too, calling someone bad on internet, I will apologize to him, but My question, guys. The knowledge that we have, Acc. To Manga, Shanks is not shown having any knowledge about OnePiece(YET) I.e. Location of OnePiece and what there is at the Island of OnePiece. And this guy above Stating that Shanks knows what OnePiece is. Is He is Wrong? Also he claimed that he never watched OnePiece but read it.
Bro you called the guy a dumb fuck idk 💀
Some races were aliens that the WG enslaved and the D were the main forces fighting it but lost. They used the ancient weapons to destroy them but joyboy managed to separate it out
Best theory ever don’t Q me
ok, but if someone who claims he has read the whole manga and says that: "Shanks knows what One Piece is". what would you do/say to him?
I’d ask his reasoning 💀
yeah, you can put it that way.
Nothing
what if kaido and big mom got sent to the underwater village beneath wano instead of dieing in molten lava? the village beneath wano is filled with rain water and not ocean water. it makes sense for big mom to die, but kaido has the fish-fish fruit. So it might make sense for him to still breath. Im not sure if this info is correct or not.
Maybe but I don’t see what the point is. Let’s say hypothetically he survives the lava he’d from injuries. He wouldn’t be able to operate the ship. He had multiple death matches and was in lava for still a good while. Akainu has the most offensive logia I think bc it’s just lava and it’s so strong. Like kaido wouldn’t even be in any condition to do anything
He has no medical attention and he has no idea how to operate a ship
All 7 warlords will join buggy
I was finally able to read this, so you don't think that somehow the other islands save the center one are floating islands and not like some constructions as the flower capital island is shown to be built on the slope of mt fuji.
some of them must be floating. it would’ve required reshaping the mountain starting almost all the way down in order to build it up and out enough to support multiple islands above it without worry of the land sliding out from under it which would mean potentially thousands drowned and thousands more missing, and it has to support it all while completely submerged in a giant freshwater reservoir that’s constantly in a state of unrest. it would’ve been much more feasible to hold up just one of them and have it serve as an anchor for the rest which are just basically floating there. just my take on it of course. i could be wrong, but pretty much the way i see it, this whole project was only possible because it wasn’t sea water they were dealing with. although, unless the goal all along was to flood ancient wano deliberately then it seems to me like the obvious solution to the problem would be to carve a hole at the very bottom of the wall in six spots along the inside perimeter of the stone walls. that’d be enough to keep it in the dry at least, and with a few adjustments you could have a way to regulate the water levels later if you wanted.
Ghost ping
Yk how when Luffy was talking to Ace and Sabo about how being lonely hurts more than getting hurt, and he said that there was only one kid back in Foosha Village, and yk how everyone thinks that, that silhouette with Shanks is Uta, wonder if they're connected 🤔
Cause I know Oda said the Movie isn't cannon but it would have something that relates to the cannon
Idk random thought, take with a grain of salt
There's something else too for more evidence but I don't wanna type it
When did Oda say nothing in Film Red is canon?
He didn't say nothing was cannon, he said the movie itself wasn't cannon, but it had cannon in it
Yeah so hard to say then ?_?
any theories and greenbulls df not being an logia?
…. Even though he’s already said it’s a logia?
i mean tbf luffy fruit was stated as a paramecia lol
Luffy is an exception tho
fair enough
Theory: Enel finds OnePiece on the Moon and is waiting for Luffy at the last Island.
Most logical one piece theory
Moon is an island. Secret of laugh tale
greenbull has so far
shown characteristics of an believing in false truths
and often dfs reflect the users
the world government also hides the names of some fruits
like the case with nika
it would fit his character
and they way he "restored" himself
unlike a logia
His restoration fits what we’ve come to expect from a plant logia as well as logias in general. As long as he continually hides his “true body” in his “natural occurring element” (nature), he can evade any “true” damage.
Imo, just because Luffy’s df has a new name doesn’t mean we should question every single df user we see in the verse and ask “could the WG have lied about this one too?”. To me, going down this rabbit hole of questioning is unnecessary because it’s not like Oda’s going to suddenly change everybody’s dfs to Zoans now. Not to mention why would they want to change a df name that they have control over?
As for “false truths”, by that logic you can say that about any df user really: they believe in a “false truth” regarding their df (assuming suddenly everybody’s df a lie). Also, Greenbull believes in prejudice, racist, and classist ideas, “false truth” is a little too generic. A lot of people live false truths (e.g. Katakuri), Greenbull is on an extreme side of that.
Anyway, don’t let me stop you from guessing what his “true df” is, this is just my two cents when it comes to questioning other df users just because Luffy’s df changed.
the thing is logias dont hide in their element they are made of out of it
Aokiji is not gonna get hurt if his ice sword’s cut by a sword/haki. As long as his “true body” isn’t hurt, he’s fine. Same with Aramaki
logias arent using fake bodies like greenbull tho
Still, none of these points break what we previously knew about logias. As long as the enemy doesn’t hit the logia user’s true body, the logia user is safe.
but the thing is there is no true body with an logia
the logia reflex is just an property of their bodies being made out of the element
similar how luffy has thr properties of rubber
There is a true body, you just need haki and aim to actually inflict damage on a logia
your probably to referring to the spiritual body instead
Not really. Here’s an example: Hitting Aokiji’s ice sword with haki doesn’t hurt him. However, hitting Aokiji’s body with haki will hurt him. The same thing can be said about Aramaki, but the difference is he can hide himself in his element better than Aokiji.
What if Zolo's Sensei is one of the Gorosei......

why reading Eneru backwards sounds like Urene (Uranus),, and he's in moon too,, any link we are missing here??
What is the false truth Katakuri believes in?
One Piece is in Japanese
As a kid, Katakuri was unapologetically himself and didn't care about his "weird mouth", no matter how many times Perospero told him to cover it up. However, once he saw that a member of his family was attacked for defending his "weird mouth", Katakuri blames himself for the incident and creates the perfect persona as "the strong older brother" and cover up who he truly was in order to protect his family. As a result, although he's become a well respected commander of a Yonko crew, he has put up so many walls (both literally and metaphorically) to hide who he truly is at heart.
On the other hand, Luffy is someone who doesn't mind being his true self among his family/crew; he doesn't mind looking weak/hungry in front of Sanji, he doesn't mind laughing/crying with his crew, he is always true to himself. The one time he almost lost his sense of self was when Ace died. If it wasn't for Jimbe, Luffy would have never recovered from that trauma. Katakuri unfortunately didn't have anyone to help him to overcome his trauma, and instead chose to adopt a persona that made him live a "false truth" of himself.
During Katakuri's battle with Luffy, Katakuri continues to gain a greater respect for Luffy and begins to really enjoy the duel. More importantly, he starts to heal from his trauma and learn that you can be both "the strong older brother" and true to who you really are at the same time. We especially see that come out when he casted aside his scarf/persona in his outburst to Flampe duing his duel.
Anyway, the term "false truth" can imply many things, not just a wrong worldview but it could also mean wrong intrinsic ideas of self and purpose and w/e.
Ah fair, "false truth" probably wouldn't be how I would describe that. Like that's just how Katakuri sees the world, he's kinda insecure but not necessarily "wrong". Also, Greenbull is a straight out fascist what it comes to the Marines, he's obviously wrong but he doesn't have "false truths". The world he believes in "kinda works" as intended
I just re read road to laughtale, and there is section that said oda going to reissued bounty like raylegh, boa Hancock, dragon, mihawk , buggy, and rock d xebex.
I can understand raylegh bounty will be reissued, it could be because he come to marine fold with luffy / or maybe he help kuja pirate when boa hancock attacked by the marine, seeing how his relationship with shakuyaku.
But why rock d xebex bounty will be reissued? Is he still alive?
If the marine just use it to compare bounty like when big mom and kaido alliance, they just could use roger bounty
It doesn't said they'd be re-issued, just that there's bounties that haven't been shown that may appear now or may be put and re-issued, mainly and probably the Seven Warlords, since their bounties are from the time they joined and were frozen, so they wouldn't really reflect their true strength/how dangerous are they, like Buggy's, Mihawk's, Boa's, etc.
The other ones were never shown, but always there, like Dragon's, etc. Xebec is dead, but since BlackBeard seems to either be related to or have some kind of link to him, they may show his bounty when talking about BlackBeard later on.
First he used to battle with shanks all the time when shanks had two arms. They were equally strong. So Mihawk went to shanks and showed luffys bounty to him. Shanks said “r u interested in fighting me”. Then Mihawk said “there is no point in fighting you anymore”Mihawk is not interested in fighting shanks cause now he lost a whole arm and that is a big disadvantage. Even in the Data Book it says Mihawk is waiting for another opponent STRONGER than shanks. Why would Mihawk want someone stronger? So he can have the best fight. Mihawk has better armament haki because he made his sword into a black blade while shanks didn’t. And he probably has better observation haki too because of his title and he’s was supposed to be a clairvoyant that’s someone that could literally see into the future. Only haki shanks has better is conquers haki for sure. And If shanks is stronger than Mihawk then zoros dream would be stupid. Imagine zoros goal is to beat Mihawk but there is still a stronger swordsman. Oda is not stupid like that with one piece. That’s y he gave the title “Strongest Swordsman” to Mihawk. It literally states in the vivre card that “Everyone who works with the sword fears hawk-eyes Mihawk, He is the strongest swordsman in the world in both name and reality”.And remember shanks is mainly a swordsman too.
Who here have heard the theory that Zunesha isn't actually a real elephant, but Joyboy's ship that ate a df similar to the one present on Spandine's sword?
like a mythical zoan from hindu mythology? probably one of those elephants in that picture
you know what they are called? also kinda makes sense for zunesha to be some kind of mythological creature since he basically has a whole world on him.
That picture is commonly referenced where the snake is the red line
so does this mean that there ARE others like Zunesha? perhaps even a herd of them? Elephants do travel in herds so it has always kinda struck me as being odd that we only see one clearly depicted. though others have speculated that the things seen in the mist before may have been other colossal elephants. 🤔
if i had to guess there are probably more or have been more like him in the past. id think its pretty hard to miss a giant moving elephant so his kind might have been wiped out. (maybe during the void century?) they live around 1000 years btw
We can't really say for sure since we can't just copy paste mythology in One Piece. The best example of mythology not being a direct translation is Zeus being a cowardly cloud
let’s take a step back and look at this from a different angle and perhaps we might shed some light on the finer points of WHY is Zunesha as opposed to What. and so i ask this. what exactly was this crime? and could it have been wiping out its own kind
Is this the place to find people who know a lot about the lore of One piece? I just wondered something
Do anyone of you guys remember who/what is the Uranus? Cuz Shirahoshi is the Poseidon and the Pluton is a ship since they had a blueprint for it which was burnt by Franky during Enies Lobby
its more of theories on unexplained things of one pice. you will find a lot of lore in this channel though
I was wondering if the similarities of the sound of “Jaya” and “Gaia” were something that people explored much as of now? I’m aware that Uranus in mythology was the Child of Gaia and remembered that “Jaya” was missing a piece - Is it plausible that Uranus was located in that piece and was then ascended into the sky realm?
In general we ask that people asking questions do so in either #manga #also-manga or if they want a discussion about the question #manga-serious and to instead use this channel for when you have a theory to post. Sometimes chat moves fast in the normal manga channels though
uranus has not been mentioned at all in the story yet. in my opinion its going to be sky related (some people think dragon has it because he seems to control weather). also it people think the 3 weapons relate to sea land sky. might be the one piece for all we know
maybe he failed himself and this is his punishment to himself
Idk but I have this feeling that the little girl in the skypeia who hears everyone kinda resembles momonosuke
but he will heed the command of Kozuki Momonosuke. why Momonosuke specifically when Kozuki Oden would have been able to right? hell maybe Oden could too but simply never tried saying something since him and roger both felt uneasy as if they were being watched
makes me think about an orouboros. where the world gets destroyed every once in a while (void century) and a new world come out of it.
btw quick little fun fact about me, i love the meanings put into naming Kozuki Momonosuke
remember when rodger said it was to early? zunesha probably knew when the time would come when wano needed to open and would talk to the kozukis. maybe the voice of all things is a genetic thing. only passed down by a couple of clans (d clan, 3 eyed, kozukis)
sometimes the simple explanation is the right one. i ain’t mad at it
They don't have the devil fruit as well ( Hito Hito No Mi) maybe that's why
what would they need the devil fruit for? i assume your talking about luffys fruit btw
the devil fruit isn’t meant to be synonymous with joyboy to the extent of them being consider one and the same. just that Joyboy also ate that specific devil fruit
yea, I mean there is really something behind JB devil fruit, cuz why would the WG be alarmed when the DF that was awakened 800 years ago came back to the world?
because of what it represents
Maybe because in the void century the WG sealed the original JoyBoy into the fruit? Could the fruits not be crafted from the souls of the living? And the WG were imprisoning deities into them for their own gain?
or Imu is the Forrest God referenced in skypeia, they created the Devil Fruits including but not limited to containing the essence of their counterparts into a few to keep them alive to some capacity
I believe it was just the previous df user ideals, since in some chapter somehow The Gorosei talked about finding the Mythical Zoan fruit but they couldn't attain it since it kinda has a mind of it own
Does the fruits having a mind of their own not imply they were at least at some point sentient?
wdym, like the sacred forest that they couldn't passed through the Skypeia? (One where Nami went when she rode the cloud motorcycle thingy)
no i mean the ones literally referenced in the Noland flashback during skypeia
More to this point Delphi and Shandora also bare a lot of resemblance and Phocis- where Delphi is situated (home of Gaia) had a second city which was destroyed and lost called Elateia
can u send pics in here Im kinda lost bro mb
It is still mysterious, this idea just showed up when they were talking abt the Hito Hito No Mi
Looks like I remember it now, it make sense
i believe we already know who all four of these are in the current plot.
and one or more of them if i’m right might surprise you
God of The Sun is Nika right?
Seems the God of the Rain, I think is Monkey D Dragon
yes and the fruit was eaten by luffy. well what if the god of the rain and god of the earth were also in fruit form now and one was eaten by dragon as you said and the last……was eaten by Kidd. Blackbeard is going to end up with a different but equally relevant fruit.
and of course i’m thinking that the god of the forest IS Imu and not that Imu ate a devil fruit like the others
Quake fruit = God of Earth seems plausible
think bigger picture. the rocks that make up the earth are only able to sustain life because magnetism allows for it. do you know what would happen to the earth irl if it suddenly lost all magnetic properties ?
So u mean it makes total sense to make Kid as the God of Earth since he ate magnet magnet fruit?
the “devil” in the fruit can and will be linked to magnetism if i’m right but it’s not just limited to it. kidd has more to his power than he knows. unless i’m just dead wrong
kidd should be able to manipulate and move the very planet itself.
Maybe the WG assumed the god fruits lay within the elemental based logias? Hence the admirals all possessing them?
Like luffy? I mean in the latest chapter the thing that he could do is Assign the magnetic fields (Which he believes that it was his awakening ) but if he can maximize his power he could change the magnetism of the environment itself to make it move
now that i think about it kidds power might’ve been used to “stitch” together current Wano kuni
couldn’t played a part in piecing together the many islands that make up the red line super continent
I wonder what lies above the Red Line
what do you mean? it’s meant to represent the Top of the World. it’s leader in the basic sense is King of the Hill. it’s on the same level as the sky islands as far as heights so all that could be above are the moons if they’re all inhabitable like the one enel went to
I didn't know that
I always theorized Shanks mother was Imu which is why Rocks wanted to be the king of the world because she is the queen but him being a D member Imu wouldn't let him reign with her so Rocks raised hell at God Valley to get his son back
No shipping discussion in this channel please
Something that came to my mind today is that Zunesha is actually the one who grew the walls around Wano 800 years ago with the "God of the Earth" devil fruit, causing it to fill up with rainfall. Zunesha did this in order to conceal the Pluton in fear that it would fall into the wrong hands. This was the crime she committed and this is why she was sentenced to walk the seas until otherwise ordered. I believe zunesha might have the Earth God fruit
Zunesha was ordered by a Kozuki that had the "voice of all things" 800 years ago (possibly the current leader of wano at the time) which is why only Momonosuke was able to command her after such a long time.
Evidence to support this is that Zunesha can't just be commanded by anybody with the "Voice of all things" because even Luffy could not talk back to her only Momo could
The reason Zunesha left as soon as Momo decided not to open up Wano, is really because Zunesha is the one with the ability to drop down the walls surrounding Old Wano
Why would a Kozuki sentence Zunesha to walk the seas? because she grew walls around their country lol
who would she do it for? Most likely Joyboy
In conclusion, this was the crime that Zunesha committed
i predict that luffy will mix g5 with g4 in the future for the final fight
depending on what you mean sure, cuz g5 logically can alreayd do g4, just from the fact that it can do anything that rubber allows him to do
Maybe zunesha built the walls with elephant dung, he's a big guy after all
When the sun goes down it leaves a smile on the moon.
Whoever smile when their life end are D.
Or something around that.
Or not, what do I know.
I don’t know what tomorrow brings.
Hey guys. I've got a theory up my sleeve that i want to share it to you guys. Don Quixote Doflamingo said that there is secret treasure that the world government is hiding which could shake the whole world. What if it's the one piece itself and shanks is aware of that. It would make sense as the world government are afraid that someone would find the treasure according to whitebeard. So they just finding it themselves and keeping it would make sense. That's also why shanks said "claim it" instead of "find it" in the latest chapter of the manga. This could very well mean that we'll see shanks raiding marie jois soon and since the revolutionary army declared war on marie jois. As shanks, and dragon both have similar goal of raiding marie jois. They both may be working together as well. The final war could be starting soon in marie jois. And remember greenbull said in chapter 1055 when shanks used his haki "I get it already! It's not like i want to pick a fight with you guys. Atleast not today anyways" That might mean they're getting ready to fight shanks at some point. Maybe in the final war? Who knows really......Since there have been a lot of theories saying imu sama might be immortal. If imu really is immortal, Then maybe someone from the void century who had eaten the devil fruit ope ope no mi ( Trafalgar's fruit ) made imu sama immortal. Any thoughts?
the name one piece is english tho
Dorry and Broggy where fighting each other every time the Vulcano erupted. Big Mom and Kaido could start arguing who's fault it is they lost against the alliance after they emerge from the lava pool. And then start a similar tradition.
After that they fight each other for the next years every day locked in an eternal stalemate neutralizing them from the story and as a threat.
Oda could show this with the sky being permanently split above the island they landed on, their eternal prison.
nono in the recent chapter sukiyaki said the walls “grew” around Wano, they weren’t built
well it wasn't all one dump, it was several dumps, giving the appearance overtime of growth obviously
it’s possible bro but like Elephant dunk has a smell to it since it’s processed inside of the elephant, do u think Zunesha would shit all around wano
The reason I think it’s a devil fruit power is because I believe Zunesha could have been originally a human that ate a zoan fruit
He could be a giant that ate a zoan, that'd be cool. But no i'm joking about the poo theory
Yeah but "Eneru" isn't lol
Depending on the translation you'll find him called "Enel" or even "Ener"
If Zoro ate an owl zoan could he fly around like a helicopter
Could he be like a beyblade
In the future I think Zoro and Sanji will get up to emperor level, we’ve seen Zoro scar Kaido which he’ll never forget and Sanji start beef with Big Mom on WCI. If there’s a huge final battle in the future and those two are involved wouldn’t it make sense for Zoro and Sanji to take care of them since they already started a fight with them? Zoro can finally fulfill the theory of slaying the dragon and Sanji would finally hit a woman and wouldn’t it make sense for that woman to be big mom and also as a way for him to free pudding? Also if they do go against the admirals in the future wouldn’t it make more sense for Zoro to go against Kizaru and Sanji to go against Fujitora? Zoro and Sanji have experience with each other’s moves so technically it would make a better match up for both of them
This is more of a #manga thing
I don’t think that would be necessary at this point since luffy is able to fully manipulate relatively anything now
Sanji hitting a woman would destroy his character. Something g great about the strawhats is they show how they will go as far as they can to achieve their dreams while living by their moral codes. I would see nami fighting big mom instead on Sanji’s behalf
Sanji told before that he won't hurt a women but he will save his nakama from a hit even if it is women he will only defend
Im not a fan of the whole “god of the forest god of the earth etc etc.” but if it they are people then I think Imu has the god of the earth fruit and he used its power to build the red line and the walls around wano
He would take those hits. He has already demonstrated this ideology when he sacrificed himself for the crew when he was summoned by big mom
About laugh tale i have a theory that nothing is there in laugh tale but to reach there straw hats will learn many things and with help of luffy gear 5 ability to bend anything he might bend time and travel to past to set things up in such way that world will become peace in current timeline
And Roger telling that they were too early to visit raftel and told " I Wonder who will find one piece" which lead that Roger didn't find one piece himself and it makes sense if nothing is written there except about some imp stuff that needs to be set by Roger like starting pirate era, and telling than world will change 20 years later, which could be written by luffy
And ancient weapon pluton could be sunny itself because sunny is easy more powerful too it can literally fly in air for sometimes
Also oden told his wife to send everyone in 20 years ahead could be what they only know and In Marineford, Whitebeard declared that someone would rise up, shouldering centuries of history and challenge the world. Thus causing a Great War that Sengoku and the World Government would fear
I mean if they knew everything about future/past than they would knew that person is luffy but it seems they don't know who he is and what will exactly happen from there lines
And while in past due to all effect on his body he might die in void century and in luffy last breath he help his crew to return to future will be sad as heck
And imagine how good it will be for Robin to see what happened in void century with her own eyes
vivi is connected to uranus or pluton somehow, luffy is sun god (we know that already), shirahoshi is ofc poseidon and blackbeard is also a god of some sort which is why imu sama wants them eliminated ( i created this on the spot cuz i wanted to check this channel out lol)
vivi with pluton and rebecca with uranus, would make the 3 of them meeting in mj a wink
The Sunny can't be Pluton it's an ancient weapon resting underneath the Old Wano
and Franky was surprised when he saw the blueprints of Pluton cuz he didnt believe that something like that could really be built
and he built the sunny so the sunny cant be pluton
Maybe Franky built pluton and it is sunny and reason he didn't told anyone because it can create severe situation or panic among straw hats just tell me there literally no ship in one piece world which could fly and sunny can fly using coup de burst for few seconds which is insane
The Pluton can destroy whole islands in a single blast and the sunny cant
Maybe sunny is smaller version more like inspired version
Or when straw hats go in past Franky built actual pluton for help or transform sunny into powerful version to fight someone
We don't know the level of oda's imagination
And also in luffy gear 5 we see his zoan transformation so luffy Nika fruit awakening is still left
luffy is the one piece
I think that one piece is a piece which will connect whole humanity and everyone will leave in peace
what if the fight that almost kills bellemere is the fight with garp and roger vs rocks (idk how nami and nojiko are on the battlefield) maybe nami was on rocks pirates? just a theory tho
i like this idea a lot but i do think the one piece is a actual thing idk what tho
What if Pluton is battle/war armour for Zunesha. And people on Zou operate the canons and weapons. Maybe that's why joyboy told Zunesha to wander the seas so no one can locate her without a vivre card
Momonosuke is the only one capable of controlling Zunesha also. Just like Shirahoshi, he has the power of the "voice" and can communicate with Zunesha. People like Oden, Rogers and Luffy can only hear the voice of these creatures and cannot communicate back. But shirahoshi and momonosuke can communicate back.
HOW CHAPTER (1056) GIVES ME A RED FLAG ABOUT YAMATO MIGHT NOT JOIN SH
Note: I read the Japanese version, not the translated ones. If you search through the chat, you'll find me as a pro Yamato joining. I hope I am just being paranoid, but Yamato not joining is not impossible. The whole raid could the Oda's biggest misdirection about Yamato joining the crew, and he can get away with it.
Simply put, Yamato decides to have a crew on her own with the help from the remnants of Beast Pirates, after being suggested by Luffy.
=======================================================
Here's a storyline that would make Yamato not joining. The reasoning why I thought about this will be explained after.
During the "several days passed", Yamato already asked Luffy to join the crew.
While Luffy is okay with it, he also offers her another option,
"You can also try to be your own captain and set sail by yourself, you know?"
Yamato started thinking hard, and went to her usual rooftop spot. "Usual" is important here, as Yamato likes to be there to have her own time alone (just like when she was hungry praying for Luffy after battle).
All the while, SH starts leaving the Capital, leaving Yamato to think for herself (or maybe Yamato wish to stay a bit longer for this.)
And then, on the last page, Yamato finally decided on something. Something that could be an important decision to make, that makes her stay on the rooftop a bit longer while SH is leaving Capital. Yamato proceeds to "go to where Luffy is." She did not directly say "let's go ride Sunny" or something along that line. Which opens up something.
Yamato is going to tell Luffy her decision. This leads to 2 almost equal possibilities:
- Yamato decided to stick with Luffy, live on Roger's adventure like Oden, and proceed to join the crew, probably Oden style but insta-drown.
- Yamato decided to go on journey on her own to live freely like Oden, and tell Luffy she's cancelling her request to join. She'll gather up some people from the remnants of Beast Pirates and started her own crew as a Captain, probably under SH Fleet.
.
Why would I think about a scenario like that:
- Why is Yamato deciding something? She's been pretty consistently asked to join the crew without second thought all this time.
- This scenario is very similar to Vivi in Alabasta. Vivi was faced with decision whether to come with SH or not, meeting up late in the last minute, and revealed that she loves her country more. Yamato now decides something, comes in late and suddenly it could be revealed that she prefers to do her own journey instead.
- SH is leaving Capital, yet Yamato stays on the rooftop as usual. Though I could argue that she's just like Momo and Kin that SH are leaving them out, it is kind of weird that Yamato didn't know SH is leaving. Where would Yamato sleep or hanging around in the castle? I bet she often hangs around the SHs, and she is likely to be with them when SH leaving.
- As mentioned before, Yamato said "Time to go to where Luffy is." She does not explicitly states "Time to go sailing with Luffy" or go to the Sunny, or something along the lines of directly being on Luffy's crew. Her words are intentionally being made to be ambiguous.
- I'm going to live like Oden! She's not going to live "as Oden", but "like Oden." "Be Oden" means going on adventure with Roger, but "like Oden" means "to live freely", which does not necessarily have to sail with Luffy. She can stay in Wano, she can go with Luffy, she can set sail on her own, she's free to choose.
.
All in all, in this chapter Oda is intentionally making things ambiguous. From previous chapter, the chance of Yamato joining is 90/10. But now it feels like it is dropped to 60/40.
It is either all that imagination above, or Yamato simply realized that she doesn't have to "be Oden", just "be like Oden" to live freely, and join the crew just like I hoped for.
P.S. Make Oda read this, so that he won't use this scenario (I predicted this, Goda!), and go with the Yamato joining path.
I think Burn Mark Guy is another survivor of Ohara, they would certainly have juicy info Kidd would want.
Yamato will sell too much merch for her not to be given a lot of screen time, hence she will join. Oda's editors and managers will force him to whether he likes it or not.
Anyone else think that it's possible that the mihawk in the cross guild is actually that kitsune member of the blackbeard pirates?
imagine sincerely believing this
it would be cool, but its probably aokiji
my thought exactly
Do you all think Kid is talking about Shanks or someone else?
This channel is for long form paragraph theories rather than questions like this, but we are currently discussing this question in #manga-serious
Ah thanks for the clarification Mohdoo! Apologies!!
no worries, part of my job is to help people find the right channels
Anyone has a idea of who’s the next villain ?
The man marked by the flame is definitely Dofi, right?
Seeing Law reaction.
And that part of the newspaper that looks a lot like Dofi.
Kid crew definitely still need someone who can read poneglyph. Can Dofi read poneglyph? Who knows.
But he is a celestial dragon, he definitely got insider information that will be necessary for the plot
Dragon is "the man marked by flames" -
The only other time we've seen face tattoos similar to Dragon's are with King - a Lunarian. Maybe the tattoos on Dragon's face are Lunarian markings, and as we know Lunarians have a tie to flames hence their ability to create it. Robin appears to be surprised or maybe confused about what Kid said - she spent time with the revolution army over the timeskip and therefore would have probably spent time with Dragon. Only issue here is, why wouldn't Kid/Killer just use his actual name in-front of Luffy? Maybe its because they know it is his dad so they don't want him to lash out? Who knows. I wouldn't think that is the case. Kid was also really implying it was a very known name, saying "You don't know?" as if he expected Luffy to be aware.
Didn't kidd already try to fight Shanks and failed?
My #1 thought is it's Sabo. Kidd and Killer had enough time to read the newspapers and get updates on him. Though they have no leads on how to get to him. Also Law's reaction could be explained by the fact that he saw how much Luffy cares about Sabo when they met in the colosseum. And Robin thinks of Sabo when she hears "marked by flames"...
#2 is Aokiji cause he's also really fucked by Akainu. His entire body is covered in fire marks.
Why would anyone worry about Doffy now btw? He's already been defeated. Law and Kidd have awakened abilities now, they are way stronger, I don't think law would worry that much about him and why would Kidd go after him?
why would doffy be called "the man marked by flame" though?? He got nothing to do with fire nor scars
Yeah my guess was shanks at first but no he doesn't have q scar like that then it went to sabo he has q burn scar
I don't think so.
I'm not sure. But it might got something to do with celestial dragon marking a traitor.
Or maybe his eyes got scars or something, we never see his eyes after all.
When someone wear a mask, they always try to hide something and it's always be revealed at some point.
Who knows.
No the marked by flame thing is suppose to mean a scar so it would make more sense sabo maybe kid is gonna try and recruit sabo?
No maybe fight him?
But I am pretty sure it’s Sabo it can’t really be anyone else right??? I mean with his fruit and all.
Sorry there’s a part with Uta?
Damn I didn’t have that… that could change things, but it looks like the people Shanks is fighting are weak because they’re running in despair… I’m not sure
@brazen acorn where is that panel from?
It’s a promo piece at the beginning of 1056, 1055 had one too
oh gotcha thank you
So it shouldn’t change much on the identity of the flame guy
it's most likely nothing since it's promo for the movie but you never know
Yeah looks like he’s probably saving them he’s facing the opposite direction fighting someone
Dragon’s face doesn’t count as burned right?
It’s a tattoo I believe
There are 3 characters that can actually be seen as marked by flames, at least from my point of view.
Sabo obviously, Marked by the flames, caused by Celestial Dragons, etc...
Aokiji, covered in burns from his fight with Akainu, he is literally covered in burns. Though I guess that's not exactly marked by the flames, it's more marked by the magma but the TCB explanation still counts it in
Then there's Bullet who could be also a valid possibility, but he is not even canon... Could he become canon now?
If it's not one of the 2 it's probably a new one.
You know who’s probably marked by flames?
An experimental scientist.
VEGAPUNK!
scopper gaban 😳
I think the man marked in flames is someone Kid met when fighting against Shanks.
I think it could be someone from elbaff potentially given the Viking connections of Shanks.
I was speculating Loki, but after a brief search Loki has no prevalent burns in Norse myth.
Another possibility is the Norse figure Surtyr, who will bring forth the end of the world (ragnarok) covered in flames- fitting as it seems the current WG is likely to end.
However these figures are giants, and not sure Kid would refer to them as a "man". Additionally surtyrs role here seems to be taking precedence over luffy, so I don't think it's him.
Anybody know got some good theories on the Scar that Dracule has. Like how he got it.
man marked by flames sabo by any chance?
I think it could be who or whatever the 3rd weapon (Saturn) is. Shirahoshi is posiden, pluton is dormant in wano, and Saturn is out there somewhere n no one knows. The weapon could be marked or has the power of fire.
umm thts uranus rit?
Uranus or Saturn I don't rly remember. It's been a minute 😅. But whichever hasn't been talked about a lot.
lol k
What if the guy “marked by flames” is Bullet? From stampede? Cause he also wants the one piece
To briefly add to this theory, under this context it's likely Yamato could depart on Pluton potentially.
I don't think she will go that far though
just gathering some of the remaining Beast Pirates and set sail as Captain is enough I think
Very well
he's not canon character
Oh ok
I think narratively there could be potential tho depending on whether "that person" shows up very quickly, forcing her to defend pluton.
that's possible, But Yamato just riding on fucking Pluton and leaving is like
wtf?
I don't think Wano will be opened before Luffy found the One Piece, or at least the Great War
while Yamato could set sail few days after Luffy
but like I said, I pretty much like Yamato joining instead
Additonaly Yamato is the name of one of the greates Japanese navy flagships, which parallels the supposed greatest ship Pluton in one piece.
Hence why I think it would be cool for Yamato to ride on one piece's "yamato"- aka pluton
that's true and to add a bit more to that, see the shape of the yamato type ship?
then look at the shape of wano with Mt. Fuji
Oh wow so it stuck in the earth you think?
but honestly it feels way to ridiculous for Yamato to just ride on a fucking massive weapon to go on her adventure xD
She an absolute tank so I can imagine her commanding something as worthy as pluton lol.
Well there's a thought that the entire wano could be Pluton, but it's probably not... I'm more with the idea that it's a powerful submarine.
I will agree that it's not Wano as well, doubt water 7 shipwrights would be that keen.
Iceberg was working on converting Water 7 into a ship to be fair
Good point, I meant moreso I doubt Water 7 shipwrights would create lush green landscapes and all that.
Water 7 seems quite mechanical in its design, as opposed to the natural beauty of Wano.
I think the man with marked flames will be at lodestar island and he’ll have every lode poneglyph. Law & Kidd need 2 but Luffy only needs 1.
A few years ago Oda was asked about if there will be more crewmates and he replied with yes, and they will join successively. Thus Jinbei just officially joined during the raid, since Carrot is out (thank God) it only makes sense for Yamato to join. That way, Odas statement would become true, and more than one new guy joins the crew
So the man marked by flames is Aokiji?
@brazen acorn the film red stuff stays in #film-red which includes those pages that come before the chapter
they are in plain view but ok 👌 sorry if I did a stupid
we didnt include them in our chapter ping but yea, we're considering them spoilers for now
oh sorry I think I used the original TCB link before it was posted
I think that Caribou was talking about Blackbeard
Cuz blackbeard will most likely go after some kind of ancient weapon for taking over the world, as he continues the legacy of Rocks (in my opinion). And caribou can have underworld connections too so the news might also get leaked to marines and they start going after luffy and wano
Yamato joining would make straw hats incredibly strong, too bad we didn't see much growth from nami and usopp in wano except for nami getting zeus but that happened in whole cake island. I would like to see usopp and franky getting a few upgrades.
Zeus gone or still alive
At this point it doesn't matter if the crew gets to OP
We're in the Endgame now.
They need every bit of power they can get.
What if that burned scar guy is the lurking legend that someone mentioned a few years ago?
Its about time that he makes his appearance!
sobo has a burn mark....
Burn mark guy is definitely new because luffy don't know him too
Caribou dick riding fr 😔
chapter 1056 really makes my interest for the crocomom theory spark again, does anyone think the same as i do ?
I think this latest chapter is showing us that the tides are turning and the marines can't keep holding their power.
So much so, even bounties are being placed on them
Plus, the previous set of admirals were balanced, these new ones aren't as ordered, because while we love him as an audience, for the marines Fujitora doesn't comply with WG standards and ends up being too ambitious to do right, and Green Bull's too cocky and arrogant to follow akainu's ideals.
They lost the warlords, they lost aokiji, it's all going downhill for then. HECK, Garp's lost the will to fight as he's more so a training instructor, and doesn't want to be a vice admiral
Marked by flame = Vegapunk?
wouldn't Sabo also be one marked by flame, since he literally has Ace's fruit?
I think so too
saw a theory saying theguy with the burn mark kidd was talking about might be douglas bullet
its Kuzan
bruh who was kuzan 💀
he was probably marked by the flame when he fought Akainu during Punk Hazard
ah yeah aokiji, well akainu doesn't "make" flames
but his attacks leave a burn mark its the same concept
might even be some character we don't know and also might be that these burns might have happened bc of something like... some disaster like Robin's island
oh nah he got them from akainu, i wouldnt be surprised if it was kuzan since bb is getting into the scene (caribou tells him about pluton) and kuzan has some kind of connections with bb
yeah migh be, plus kuzan looks like he knows some stuff since the encounter with luffy and the rest
actually makes some sense because blackbeard could have the next poneglyph / be in search of it, forcing some encounter between the straw hats and blackbeard
The marked person can read poneplyph?
Kuzan confirmed to team up With buggy late in manga
good perception there i almost missed it,
as far as i remember he didn't have it when the marines dispatched againt the shichibukai soo it must be connected to buggy's new title somehow.
I want to see how strong is buggy now, imo he's just one of the best made characters in the whole series
It makes a lot of sense when he realized he may have had at least two.
honestly I don't get why kid knows abt the marked person but luffy or Robin doesn't, does that mean they have the other road poneglyph? or is it about those 9 normal poneglyph that have some actual story abt the road poneglyph?
I dunno if he is aware of Zou's because I dunno if WB ever landed on Zou, but considering Luffy has risen up really fast and visited some pivotal places it'd make sense if he had the last one and was preparing for a crash with him.
@night geode iirc, it was said that the word translated could mean "burn mark" or like, any kind of variation of "scar", so it's kinda up for interpretation.
the thing is that he says it like if he read it from somewhere
He just had information. Asking around, having informants or spies, he could've done some digging.
Considering how he went to the auction of Sabaody and then was shown seeing the whole fiasco of Punk Hazard for the presentation of Shinokuni from Caesar, fairly certain he either has underworld connections or affiliates that could've been used as informants.
that's some good point
now I'm here to say what I think the movements will be in terms of one piece development. I think that wano will be open right after laugh tale arrival, unleashing pluton, leaving also poseidon aka Shirahoshi and neptune as 3 powers against world govt and marines
but idk what is abt neptune, since nothing has been said right?
I think Wano will be victim of an assault of whoever Caribou snitches to.
Which may very well be BB.
Makes sense, since BB would want to go to Wano anyways to get the Phoneglyph and Pluton. And with his dark powers, he could just eat up the two rock walls of Wano to let Old Wano visible, along with Pluton, then spit it out somewhere else.
yeah but remember that momo has such an amazing power to defend him against even an admiral, but bb could actually just go since imo he's just better than kaido and that just means he can beat momo
and the gura gura can tear down both walls, but also opening wano is like the duty of momonosuke... I think this is straight up to what oda wants the story to turn out
buggy can split himself into pieces and when joined together he became one piece
I kinda see it like some kind of big clash like what it has been said after 800 years blablabla, and that involves the 3 ancient powers plus luffy and his crewmates and friends against world government
First off, he managed to hurt him, he was still on the short-end of the stick in that fight.
Secondly, Kaido is still the strongest in OP, BlackBeard doesn't compare. But even so, yeah, BlackBeard is going to lay waste on Wano if he goes there.
Also, now that you reminded me of the Gura Gura, pretty sure BlackBeard is gonna go for it.
is kaido that strong really? I believe Roger was better than him, and shanks can win him probably
Roger is dead, Shanks, at best, was able to hold him down when he was going to go to Marineford and lay waste with WB.
In terms of raw power, Kaido is the strongest.
but also from what I said, I think one side is more overwhelmed than other, since we can count revolutionaries into that big team against world government, I think they should introduce more stuff into world government power
okay I agree with your point
Let's not forget after he was defeated that it took the prowess of around 15 people, some of them fighting against him in big numbers, some of them having to battle him various times over and losing for him to be taken down. If this had been just a 1v1, Luffy would be fucking dead and wouldn't had been able to do that much damage to him.
then luffy price is just inflated because of the Nika fruit and what it can end up being, I still believe that luffy at end will be the strongest
also regarding imu, this person fits into being 800 years old somehow, as she also has some kind of straw hat frozen and knows abt luffy's fruit
Luffy's price for his head is the same as Law and Kidd, what are you on about?
The whole point is that Luffy knows how to use his fruit in original ways to circumvent enemy attacks and hit hard in return, plus all the Haki powers he's been taught and has learned. It's not about being the strongest, but about him using his powers in smart ways to win in the end.
Does doffy even have a flame mark? I think the guild group is the best bet to free Doffy.
I think this would go better at manga serious or the manga channels.
okay I just tripped balls thinking kaido's bounty was lower
Luffy entered the fight weaker but left the fight stronger than Kaido
sorry XDDDD yeah then it's not inflated at all and it makes sense
Luffy entered the fight losing and almost dying 4 times and only managed to win because his transformation managed to let him overcome the massive fatigue he was suffering atm due to exhaustion, his wounds and being near death's doorsteps.
Even he, himself admits he is about to die when he loses G5 momentarily and has to re-activate it manually again.
His win was nothing short of miraculous, specially since he wasnt the only one hurting Kaido during the duration of the Raid.
that part was sick
I've seen a lot of people think the man marked by flames is Sabo or Aokiji and I am here to present why those two are not possible.
We have four critical pieces of info on the man marked by flames from this panel.
- The person would somehow enable Kid "to stay ahead in the scramble for the One Piece"
- Kid and Killer have not been serious about going after him prior to now
- They have no leads
- Law has a dark expression, indicating that he knows something. 4.5) Robin's reaction indicates she may know something as well, but it is less clear.
--
With this evidence in mind, there is no way the person is Sabo. - Sabo does not have a connection to the One Piece (nor does Aokiji).
- Sabo would never help anyone get it other than Luffy.
- Kid would probably have a lead on Sabo if were him considering the BIG NEWS about his feats at the Reverie.
--
So why does Kid need to find this guy? Because he needs a way to read the Pongeglyfs. The man marked by flames could help Kid achieve this.
He is likely an unknown character who either: - Somehow has the ability to read the Poneglyfs (or at least find them).
- Has been to Laugh Tale before.
--
In conclusion, the man is not Sabo. More likely they are an unknown character. Perhaps someone from Roger's crew, a rouge Kozuki clan member, or a secret additional survivor of Ohara.
yeah his win was miraculous, but in a new fight kaido would walk in healthy and so would G5 Luffy.
now what I said earlier, I still think that world government/marines doesn't have such strong power against pirates, even including admirals and the five elders and the cipher pol
I'm not doing powerscaling.
this guy might be the key of the 4th poneglyph as kid said they are a step ahead of luffy
Has it been theorized that the man marked by flames could be a former slave with the Tenryuubito brand?
You don't need to do any powerscaling, Oda drew Bajrang gun vs blazing bagua, and we saw what was stronger
Bangarang gun, dubstep luffy
I agree, my thought is that he's just going to go again towards Shanks cuz he fits the bill. The TL said it could be referred to burn mark or any kind of sort of scar, so Shanks fits nicely. He has a scar, matching the profile, was a member of Roger's crew (and he doesn't nor has a way to know he didn't make it to Laugh Tale) and he has tried going in a crash course against him before, probably for the same motives.
I know Kidd talks as if the person is going to help them and Shanks took his arm, but still, I find it reasonable that his monkey brain strategy is to just go to Shanks again and try to defeat him to get him to talk.
OFC man, Kaido was fighting for 60 chapters non-stop while lifting an island with his power. If it was 1v1 kaido vs luffy, luffy would've definately lost.
No Nika or anything would've helped him.
Kaido was called the strongest creature for a reason
even tho shanks has a scar, it's not made from flames either looks like a flame
I got no theories on who the scar-man is 😄 should be a nice surprise
Blackbeard's flame???
I still think oda is doing great with the story, even tho I've seen some complaints
Again, a footnote in the chapter says that it can be tled as burn mark or a scar. It doesn't necessarily mean it's a scar made from a burn, just a general hurty poopsy ouchie.
it literally said "a burn or a scar shaped like fire"
Maybe they are talking about Shank's scar made from Blackbeard's black flame??? Just a guess.
I don't get when did shanks get the scar but into oda's mind it fits better if we talk about some person from a prosecuted island or race who has survived the flames of the government hatred and attempt to prevent the world war
like... yk that kinda story, similar to ohana and stuff like that
You keep saying nonsensical things, BlackBeard doesn't have any fire-related powers.
It'll be funny if we are thinking such deep thing and at the end it's all very obvious and basic stuff.
it actually could regard to the person who knows about the last poneglyph, and that's why its been unknown for everyone because government tried to hide it, and the one who only could get it was Roger, someone with enough power and data to get where it is, and it also would be the reason why kid says he's a step ahead because he knows some information regarding that person
like, it's not a crazy idea is it? let's just think of crazy stuff
It would be funny if Luffy never actually gets the fourth Phoneglyph's location and Kidd is the only one who has it and they have to fight for it.
that's a good idea, but also luffy kinda sees him like some friend even tho they are fighting for no reason sometimes, I see this like some Roger and whitebeard attitude
Could the flame scarred person be Scopper Gaban? He's yet to be introduced in the story and has been to laugh tale. Maybe he got a flame scar at some point after roger's death (hunted by marines?) and this would solve his introduction to the story
who is the man marked by flames? Sabo kind of fits the criteria but not sure
can't be sabo. The only person we know to have a burn scar who it may be would be aokiji
but it may also just be a new character, or someone like scopper who we didn't know has a burn scar
i dont think its sabo but he got his scar from when they blew up his tiny ship so it "could" be referring to him idk im thinking its someone we havent met
He does have a burn scar, but every other piece of context given says it can't be sabo. He wouldn't be of any help for reaching one piece for example
Sabo and Aokiji can't be it. The tl can also imply a scar, but Shanks couldn't be it either.
I think the character may be someone with underground affiliations considering Kidd was introduced being a participant in the auction AND also watching Shinokuni's presentation. Whether we know about this person or not, it's all foggy, but I don't think we do yet. I think it's a new character and the "burn mark" thing is just a red herring to make us think we have known this character before they were introduced now.
agree
Aokiji can be it, but yes it means a burn scar not just any scar
I woulddn't see why the burn mark thing would make us think we already know the character
not even law knew who it was so it has to be someone deep underground that only Kidd could know of out of all of them
its just a description of the guy, we only know 2 people with a burn scar anyway
I'm too lazy to re-type it, so I'm just gonna say the same thing I said in serious to a person who argued the same thing:
Assuming Kuzan, for some reason, is the guy Kidd is talking about, why would he help him?
-If we don't go the route of him being a hidden insider, he wouldn't sell out BlackBeard's intel to another pirate.
-If we go the route of him being a hidden insider, of all pirates he's met, you think he's gonna sell it to Kidd? Or to a pirate at all instead of to the Navy?
-That'd mean Kidd would had come from getting an arm off from Shanks, then almost dying but successfully defeating Big Mom and having damaged Kaido some to then go on his own to try and get another Emperor of the Sea's commander to talk to him. He is Luffy stupid, but you think he is that stupid?
-And lastly, why would Kuzan have information about Laugh Tale/Road Phoneglyphs at all?
An additional motive, since some people also believe Kuzan's the founder of SWORD and SWORD acts in secrecy from the Navy, why would Kuzan found Sword and still be active in the Navy while also selling secrets from BlackBeard to other pirates?
Who says he would? All Kid implies is that in some fashion, finding this person may help. He doesn't say this person will definitely choose to help them, he doesn't even imply he's looking for that person's help, they could be going to fight him, or steal something from him.
And Aokiji would potentially have info on raftel because he's been doing shit we've no clue about for 2 years, its possible he's found something out, whether that be due to his time with BB or whatever, its possible Kid thinks finding him would be of some help
Truth is Sabo and Aokiji have no reason to have pivotal information to the location of the last Road Phoneglyph, nor have a reason to share it with Kidd. If Sabo had it, he would've gave a rubbing of it to Luffy or just the whole thing and if Aokiji had it, there is no reason for him to share it with other pirates instead of Navymen whom he trusts.
Also, not even BB's crew seems to trust him, so it's highly unlikely they would've given a former Navyman pivotal information or even the chance to have gleamed it or found out about it. Hell, one of the first things we've seen in the series is the Navy being so fucking untrusting they put people through a tough background check to see if they didn't had any ties or relationships with pirates, which is the reason Luffy makes Koby hit him to silence him and also to imply they have no relationship with him. You think that pirates would really trust a former high-rank admiral? Specially because after leaving the Navy, he could just quietly live his own life without problems because he is strong and the Navy has no reason to ever make moves on him. Pirates do, but Kuzan is way too strong to even need help fending for himself considering he can freeze the ocean. So he has no reason to become a pirate and make an enemy of his former organization.
Also, if Kidd's intention is to steal info from him or even battle him, why would he choose Aokiji specifically instead of any other BB commanders that may be closer to him and know that pivotal information, like some of his original crew of 5?
The speculation about Kuzan knowing about Laugh Tale is also as believable as everyone saying Shanks know because why wouldn't he?
By that arguement, unless stated otherwise, every character knows about Laugh Tale unless proven otherwise and we can speculate about anyone, which is why usually those kinds of flimsy arguements don't really find their way in arguements to solidify them.
Which is why it makes much much more sense the character who Kidd is talking about whom Luffy and Law have no idea has to be someone who they haven't come across but Kidd could've due to differring actions. Such as having connections in the Underworld.
It also makes sense as to why us, the audience, will not know who he is and speculate it's someone we've seen before because the Underworld characters haven't been explored at length at any point, just people related to or controlling the Underworld (like Caesar, Doflamingo and so on).
I think shanks insinuated that he got his scar from blackbeards claw weapon
yes he got it from the claw weapon so it may be before the shadow fruit
The man marked by flames could be Aokiji...
anyways I think this man marked by flames is still so unclear that it's hard to know who it is, imo it probably will be a new character
Man marked by the flames could it be someone from Ohara that survived? It fits as that person would be able to read poneglyfs and possibly know about the one piece
yes that could be it
Kuzan was there too, and after the fight with Akainu he is marked with flames
An idea just came to me. Is Buggy the clown Rock D Xebec? The only connecting factor is the gathering of major pirates.
There not much proof (hardly any) to this idea. So this is just food for thoughts.
Im putting my money on the burn mark guy being another survivor of Ohara
lmao you can't be serious. He may be his son or something like that. For sure the nose and what not could be a long con on hiding his face. However to say buggy low key is capable enough that a combo crew like Roger and Garp are needed. That would be some next level hidden agenda shit lol by all means it would "flip the world upside down" for sure
Vegapunk is the person with the eyepatch ?
could you link the image of the guy with the eye patch?
Thats more than just a stretch…
My bad I'm high lol
Yeah I'm not that serious on this idea. Like there not much connecting both Buggy and Rocks. The idea is also flaw since we know very little about Rocks. The only thing we know about Rocks is that he was a pirate that was able to get Kaido, Big Mom, and Whitebeard under his crew. Just now in the latest chapter Buggy got Mihawk and Crocodile under his crew.
Also Oda drew Buggy real cool in that manga panel.
Who can read poneplyph?
Oh yeah Buggy being his son is totally not off the table. I really like the connection with the idea that they both have the ability to obtain rather unruly pirates. Its more impressive than blackbeard in my opinion. He basically obtained his crew by giving them their freedom which feels like they owe him. I can't imagine how Buggy did it honestly
Only Robin.
It is implied three-eyed tribe people can see through anything (kinda like super sight) but it is not proven, just speculated.
The daughter of Charlotte could read it ?
Not yet but she has the possibility to.(pudding i think you mean?)
If you mean Pudding, no. Big Mom believes she can if she "awakens her powers" related to the third eye, but it is unclear if that's true.
Roger could also surmise what was written on the FI by the Voice of all Things, but it is unclear if he did it on purpose or just was that specific moment/phoneglyph.
is there anything on the man marked by flames?
I believe Laughtale is a rubber island. That's why no one can find it. Joyboy did something ?
Some people assumed it was Sabo or Aokiji, the fact that they also mentioned the mark could also be a scar makes people think it's Shanks too.
Based people believe it's someone we haven't seen yet.
@oblique topaz I just noticed that both buggy and rocks do the exact same face and thing with their tongue ......

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EUxU6EmWsAULDdy.jpg
elaborate(how can no one find it if its rubber)
that image is from a fan comic at the bottom, not official
It's never outright confirmed shaki's from the Rock's pirates
Right on thanks for that! WHOOOSH was really freaking out over buggy for a moment
Makes no sense. What would make it inaccessable if it was made of rubber? And why would it be made of rubber? What would that add to the island?
That's why they have to find the poneplyph. Joyboy probably changed the property of the island to become rubber or something else so that no compass can be used
I honestly don't doubt the idea he could be Rock's son. It would be interesting and when the story ends, he could still be in a high position of power, but now he's also the SON OF ROCKS, THE MOST EVIL PIRATE IN THE WORLD.
And he lives off that also for hie reputation, it's a bit farfetched but frankly, i wouldn't put it past Oda
ohhh
lmao!!!! Buggy is the hype train. Would really be in line with his character. I never really was to wild of a fan in the beginning but ever since Impel down Buggy has really grown on me tremendously. He was annoying and too simple, to complex and very funny and finally a Hilarious, joy full and out of this world vibe.
Yeah I thought Buggy Pose look similar but just wasn't sure lol
Joyboy is probably the one that put those big walls around Wano lol
Oh your right not official art
yeah it's from Artor's revere comic
Not like it has any relevance but I thought it was funny that the next islands are North East and South which is the Same Seas the 3 of them are from. Law is going north and if Luffy goes East like he wanted and Kidd just says screw it and goes south they'd all be going in the direction of their home sea.. kinda neat
Oh
Anyone got theory on man marked by flames?
Could be a new character but i doubt that. It's seem like some people know who he is
sigh Another one.
Popular picks are Sabo, Kuzan or Shanks, even though none of them make sense.
People who are smart say it's a new character.
Could even be Vegapunk lol. But Law knows that person
how does law know vega punk?
I'm not saying that Law knows vegapunk . Two seperate things lol
sigh
It makes absolutely, positively, astronomically no sense that it is Vegapunk. We've never seen his face and he works for the Navy. Why would he be someone that would have enough freedom to be able to be contacted with pirates? We also haven't seen his face, so this is completely baseless speculation.
You said you were high before, I reccomend you go to other manga channels to talk about this things.
Law knows the person marked by flame just by his reaction
^Yes he does
I got a little theory going on. Not much evidence to it but it relates to the man marked by flames. I’m hoping the officials clear up that line. So a lot of people say it’s sabo, which doesn’t make sense. Why would kidd chase down someone with different motivations? As we know, Urouge was mentioned back in WCI. He fought the big mom commanders, and just recently we found out that Kidd got the lode ponegliff from one of the sweert generals. I’m thinking Urouge is the man marked by flames due to him having flame marks as tattoos. And if you look up flame tribal tattoos on google. They look similar to Urouge’s tattoos
It would be great if Urouge is finally involved in the story. It about time, it’s the final saga!!!
Law is just shown with his face all shadowed, doesn't imply he knows or not.
He can be just mad Kidd is flinging intel he doesn't know in his face, he could be constipated, he could be just thinking about his own stuff, he could be damning he gave him a copy of the rubbed glyph when he withheld information from him.
It could mean a lot of things.
Yeah I agree. It not clear enough.
If anything, the fact him and Robin didn't react (and the fact Robin didn't seem to recall anyone like that) says a lot about how this intel is only known right now by Kidd and none of Luffy or Law's crew.
@pure raven
Shanks is chasing the guy marked by the flames?
Lol I edited. I don’t know how his name ended up there 💀
What do y'all think One Piece is ? I believe it's Sake with special properties...
best theory ive heard is that it's an ancient giant's treasure that's so big you can't even move it which is why people laugh when they see it
hold on you might be onto something, wasnt urogue with kidd when they met kaido
That could be a possibility. Joyboy was a giant that could change size
maybe the reason that bb and ace (ace was chasing bb so he was at alabasta) were in alabasta was bc bb wants luffy as his ally/crewmate. luffy stayed in drum island so he never got to meet bb there. later in jaya he decides to try to hv luffy die to the knock up stream or enel and take his fruit. but luffy obviously didnt die so bb never got the fruit. bb would prob want this fruit bc 3rd fruit or for his crewmates. just a theory on why bb was at so many places luffy was at before (drum island, alabasta, jaya)
The man marked with flames can be loki, he is the norse god of fire or "considered to be" idk what that means, and it would also give a great reason to go to elbaf
Read in another channel it might be a survivor from Ohara we dont know about, instead of the obvious choices
Blackbeard didn't know who Luffy was or anything about him when they met, and never does until Impel Down really. He didn't want Luffy's fruit, he doesn't learn luffy even has one until Impel Down. He wanted to grab him initially because he saw Luffy's bounty and knew it could get him into the warlords, or help at least
luffy got a name for himself when he fought arlong and has zoro. i think that bb is smart enough to plan out some of his crewmates and fruits. maybe he didnt know abt his fruit but luffy was still strong enough to beat arlong and don kreig before grand line
And Blackbeard had no idea who he was, because that's not a very big deal on the grand line
Bro typed out a sound effect 💀
Idk if anyone pointed it out but mihawk has a new scar
mihawk got slapped the fuck around by Buggy D Clown confirmed

I can't see ANY Marine giving him that scar, Kizaru at the biggest stretch with his light sword. The only known comparable other swordsman would be Shiryu, i doubt a random Weevil encounter got Mihawk of all people scarred. Zoro gonna be hella surprised if he sees that scar and would wanna probably fight the dude that did that to Mihawk before actually fighting Mihawk.
In Chapter 956 "Big news" we saw Mihawk smiling at the prospect of being surrounded by marines saying "It's been quite some time since I was the one being chased". Exactly 100 chapters later we learn that he is now NOT smiling, potentially has a new scar and is seemingly buggy's subordinate. I theorise that either he got his ass beat by the marines and rescued by Buggy, or Mihawk was subordinated forcefully by the newest Yonkou (this would explain his sad expression and scar).
Theory no 2. It's a drawing error by Oda
couldnt fujitora with his cane sword? but it prob wasnt him bc there doesnt seem to be a reason for him to fight mihawk and idk if fujitora could even do that bc we hvnt seen much of him yet
More likely one of the monkeys wounding Mihawk than him...
fujitoras strong but ur right i dont think fujitora could do that unless he has a special power or sumthing
So what you guys think Makino and Ace have a son.
@neat python we ask people keep power discussion to other channels. @pine nimbus questions like that go in #manga please. See the channel description

That would be perfect

I found it odd how Law mentions that the most direct route to the end of the grand line was north east instead of just east. I thought about it a bit more and came up with an explanation that might have some greater implications for the world of one piece.
https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/wh5m64/1056_important_hidden_detail_about_the_geography/ (sorry, can't embed images yet)
that theory states that were only in the first third of the new world but we hv one more saga left
That aspect is honestly kinda secondary. Oda had the crew cross the entire east blue in only 100 chapters, which is actually a longer distance than either half of the grand line. Point here is to explain the quirks of the one piece world.
the theory makes sense but i dont see how oda could make this happen without making another saga since he wants to end it within 3 years
I think pluton is also a devil fruit / originally a person much like the joy boy/ Nika thing and I think rocks wasn’t a person either but also a devil fruit personality like nika as well
The original plan was around 5 years and look where we are today. He'll take the story where it feels right. I don't think estimations based on length predictions are useful
Why does it suddenly have a curve? The change of directions shouldn’t have an impact on the straightness of the GL and RL
The first chapter of Wano was released July 2, 2018. Doesn't seem likely to end in 3 years. But length predictions are a better topic for other channels
The curve isn't actually there. It's a quirk of how projecting a globe onto a flat surface works. You can see this with airplane paths on a map. they look curved but in reality are straight.
So while the SHs are traveling in a straight line, that straight line has them going south east to east to north east. If they were only ever going north east, they would eventually end up at the north pole.
Ahh it’s just a projection? Thought you wanted to imply that the implication is that it’s all curved now
ty
That’s no scar. Just something Oda does for the collarbone
Damn nice catch
Nah people have caught it before me
. Just following their lead
Chapter 157 is titled "Introducing Ace". Ace is related to Yamato. So maybe Oda wants to match the numbers here. And Chapter 1057 will be about introduction Yamato as new nakama.
Chapter 956 was about Buggy and others shichibukai being hunted by the marines. Now in chapter 1056, Buggy turns to hunting them.
Chapter 957 was about the bounty of Yonkou and ROCKS, Maybe in chapter 1057 later we will also get the bounty of the marines or shp.
I also want to talk about the next island (new arc) that will probably start in chapter 1058.
Chapter 158 is titled "Landing in Alabasta".
Chapter 258 is titled "The many south".
The narrator gives us a quick recap about straw hats (explore team), searching for TREASURE in Skypiea. Zoro gets lost as usual. The direction that Chopper, Robin and Luffy took looks similar to the route that Law, Kid, and Luffy decided in chapter 1056. Luffy heads to south west in chapter 258 (bottom right), but if we ignore the correct cardinal direction and draw the cardinal directions on the map as usual (top is north, right is east), luffy seems to be heading to south east (bottom right), the same direction that Luffy will go (chapter 1056).
Law will go to the same direction as chopper (related to doctor), and Kid will go to the same direction as robin (related to who is closer to the goal, Kid said that he is one step ahead of Luffy, he wants to find the man that marked by flames that Luffy doesn't know).
Chopper meets Gedatsu who has hairstyle similar to Xebec. Robin meets commander of the divine soldiers, Yama (Birka) and learns about Shandora. Luffy meets person that he thinks is a goat (Birka) and Wyper (Shandia) and ended up in the belly of anaconda snake (Nola).
So maybe Law will get information about Xebec. Kid will get information about another ancient city, void century, or final road poneglyph ??? And the man marked by flames is Urouge, who related to Birka??? And Luffy will get information related to Shandia (Moon tribe), Nola (Master of the Sky) maybe related to Uranus on the next island ???
Sorry if this theory sounds crazy
WDYT
thats a rlly good theory skypiea has had a lot to do with new arcs (wano) lately
I dont have permission to attach files here so i cant attach picture about it
Can you attach my photo for me, i will send it to you
i cant either sry
There's goes my poor flimsy theory
Posting for manly Tom
If the next arc "Final Saga" is related to Skypiea then Imu will be related to Enel, GOD, the last enemy. Enel can't hurt Luffy because Luffy is made of rubber.
Then the theory about Imu eats water devil fruit can be true. Rubber can't absorb water right? Therefore, WG wanted nika fruit because it is a natural enemy of water.
In chapter 1 Luffy wears a shirt that says "anchor". If the anchor is thrown into the water, it will immediately sink. Shanks also said to Luffy "how do you want to be a pirate if you can't swim ?" it was said before Luffy ate the nika fruit. So it's not that Luffy can't swim because of his devil fruit, but really can't swim at all.
I don't think enel will return and if last arc will be skypiea than it will be repetitive which will make arc slightly boring before start
And explain me pls how ace is related to yamato
no, Enel won't return. what I mean is if IMU is related to Enel, described as a god then they will both have the same devil fruit as opposed to luffy, thats why WG wanted that nika fruit
If she has water df than her natural enemy will non df user because oda confirmed that any huge sorces of water weakens all df user to luffy will get weak too
Unless oda do crazy shit like luffy bending water and changing density of it stuff and all
And i think imu is Uranus itself because doffy told that if he had law fruit that time he would have become king
i think hes saying that the nika fruit is an enemy of the water fruit so it doesnt rlly get affected idk tho
Ace is the one who gave Yamato hope to be free. Since ace is dead, the one who will give hope is Luffy. Yamato waits for Luffy because Ace told Yamato about Luffy and Luffy symbolizes freedom.
Yamato considered himself oden. Oden is the 2nd division commander of Whitebeard Pirates which was later filled by Ace
Oh! Thanks. Well, makes sense that mihawk is still unbeaten
that makes 0 sense. law is going the direct route as he says in that panel. why would he be going the non direct panel in the skypiea scene? shouldnt kid and luffy be the ones going in the "off route" sections?
I think that scar is fake in poster because buggy believe influencing people and a pirate looks more terrific with a scar
Buggy doesn’t have a scar in the poster
I made this theory by assuming that the top is north and the right is east. If I use the original direction it really doesn't make sense
I think that anaconda snake was huge and luffy fought with a person too so by mixing both person and huge we get giants so elbaf
it can happen because usopp wants to go there
what if imus df is the power to give and take? BB - she could take his ability to have multiple dfs / Luffy - the power of imagination and unity / Vivi - Royal Authority and ability to change size / mermaid - the voice of all things. if she took them all that would make her the most powerful thing in the op verse and she could control everything through the wg. it makes sence kinda as each one of the 4 people on her posters have an ability worth having and extremly valuable
@untold obsidian
Would be very cool if it was Urouge.
That was one of my first thoughts as well.
I liked him ever since we first saw him.
He and Bonnie are the only Super Novas we have seen basically nothing of.
Urouges DF is very interesting and we dont actually know what it does.
And Bonnie is mysterious over all.
Hm that’s interesting, I definitely agree that wherever Law’s going he will uncover something end game important. I do think that Luffy will go South East and that will be some kind of short arc, but then I believe he will meet up with Kid at the East Island.
Also another interesting thing is if we think about the New World is west to that of Paradise and in Skypiea Gandfall said there’s an entrance to the Sky Island at the “High West” point. I have a feeling we’ll be reaching that moment VERY soon
I've always assumed that entrance is Elbaf, since no one uses it, and Elbaf appears to have an absolutely enormous tree. My assumption is that you can climb the tree to travel between White/Blue seas
The first thing Momo did when he looked for the crew? Asked Zoro for sword training after everyone was calling him shogun
He knows he's not nearly ready to protect Wano. As much as he didn't want to rely on outsiders, it wasn't him who scared GB away, it was Shanks. He needs proper training.
Yamato I feel will be that trainer. He has first hand experience with Momo's fruit power, since its literally Kaidos.
loki is sometimes considered to be the norse god of flames so he might be the man marked with flames
to me urouge sounds like a name that sounds nordic (maybe just me?). but i think he will have a big part sometime in the story which will probably me elbaf
It was confirmed Yamato is a she and you don’t get other people who didn’t have that devil fruit to train someone like that look at luffy or even ace no one trained them for their fruits they did you train a fruit yourself by getting the hang of it and new chapters confirmed he is getting the hang of it e.g. using bolo breath ok theory now ok so zoro will fight Mihawk as his final opponent with a power up and it will only be during the fight which will give him the edge e.g. black blade or advanced haki but all straw hats will fight other yonko near/ at Raftel so the story will be nearly done by then if op ends 2025 it would be in 2024 they real raftel
idk about urouge but "urooj" is a south asian name and u pronounce it the same
i just checked and oda said in sbs 88 he would be indian
damn
tbf it’s not like it rules him out at all
Like Jack and the bean stalk
This isn’t so much of a theory but more of a what’s gonna happen: Luffy clearly doesn’t care for the ancient weapons, confirmed in the last chapter. However we know of 2/3. Who do we believe is going to use them ? I think when the final war breaks out, it’ll be each respective island/ country using them against the world government. So the fishmen will use Poseidon, Samurai will use pluton, Uranus? Maybe on Elbaf) but then Caribou happened…. He knows of both to whom he is telling someone we don’t know. Just curious on what everyone thinks on how they will be used or who’ll use them
Who do you think caribou was referring to about telling in latest chapter?
Me personally I think he is referring to Blackbeard
Fair
caribou could be the final commander for blackbeard that we dont know about but probably not
bro is probably sneaky strong
Doubt it. Who you choosing aokiji or caribou? Like be fr
what benefit would aokiji have of joining
It’s said aokiji was speaking out bb
i know that but how would aokiji benefit or gain anything from joining and helping bb
We don’t know yet bc nothing has been said in it
He might still be in sword while not in the marines and he is spying on blackbeard
It would be really out of character for Kuzan to really help BB. He may not follow the same justice ideal as Akainu, but he did not seem like someone who would work well with BB. So him going undercover there would be the logical thing, if he is part of BB pirates. But that remains to be seen. I am also not sure if Akainu and Kuzan are truly mortal enemies. They have a different ideology on justice, but they could still agree on some things, so my theory is that after Akainu won their fight, the two agreed that the loser pretends to become a criminal so that the Marines can get intel from an insider among the pirates.
Kuzan wouldn't join BB's crew just to be pirate considering his ideology
Kuzan is working under dragon and he is a spy for the revolutionary army
That would actually not be a bad idea
But there are not any valid proof about that theoy
Shanks is the "man marked by flame" ong
Who once seeked the sole Ohara survivor, Nico Robin, in order to decipher what is ultimately a Road Poneglyph that the Revolutionary Army found at Baltigo, where they decided to stay as their main base to protect the balance of power between 4 Emperors among which one didn't really care about the One Piece, Whitebeard. Upon learning about this information, Blackbeard then decided to destroy Baltigo, got ahold of the Road Poneglyph that he now owns, but Sabo, the man "marked by flames" (whos marking has the shape of a flame and is now called the emperor of flames) owns a copy. He so happens to have been accused of murder, event upon which we also learn that Kidd is now after the man marked by flames. Luffy then learns about Sabo and memories of Ace dying come back, of how useless he was. But now he is strong, his entire crew is, and they will aid Sabo, reunite with Vivi who is missing but secretly staying with Sabo at Whitebeard's Island, where Marco will bring them to, at which spot Luffy and Sabo will exchange Sakes once again, in front of Ace's grave, where Luffy will obtain the final piece to Laugh Tale, where the mysterious being we know as Shanks is waiting, as he never needed Rode Poneglyphs to get there in the first place. The crew is now reunited at Laugh Tale, and learns the ominous makings of the government, and together with Vivi and the ancient weapons, declare the biggest war yet against the government and unveil the both the mysteries of the One Piece and the void century altogether.
I think Yasopp isn't ready to meet Usopp yet because he's too proud of the man Usopp has become . He probably believes all the rumours about Usopp and is super proud and nervous to meet his accomplished son. Ultimately, it'd be a gag moment between the two
This theory is nice and all except there was never a Road Phoneglyph in Baltigo.
The fourth one was in Fishman Island, but it dissapeared, at most, 25 years before the story started (after Roger went to Laugh Tale, otherwise, he couldn't had gotten there if it dissapeared sooner).
The revolutionaries don't need the Road Phoneglyphs because those don't help them or are of use to them and if you wanna argue they took it from Fishman Island, ya think Robin wouldn't tell Luffy "Hey homes, with Kaido's we have the 4 cuz Sabo and Dragon had the last one and wanted me to decypher it, which is why they've been seeking me.".
Also, do tell how Shanks never needed the Phoneglyphs. Go on. Cuz he never went to Laugh Tale.
Also, also, Oda did say the series ends once the One Piece is discovered, so this makes 0 sense.
I think kaido isn't dead yet because if oden could survive 700°C hot oil then why can't kaido survive lava and he was in his dragon form when he fell to the earth
Oda said the series ends once the One Piece is discovered, but he never said that this would be when the crew gets to Laugh Tale. We don't know what the One Piece, therefore we really cannot discern whether actually getting to Laugh Tale will net you the One Piece. Oda also said he would draw the biggest war ever seen in a manga, which I picture happening AFTER the crew gets to Laugh Tale, which does not really mean they obtain the One Piece, as we know nothing about it. That is because Rayleigh once said to Robin that he might as well tell them the whole story about the Void century, which Luffy refuses to hear anything about, but it wouldn't matter because they never managed to do anything about it. He also said to them that they 'might come to a different conclusion' when they learn about the Void Century. Therefore it is my thinking that the Void Century consists of events that might lead to a war happening due to Luffy and the crew actually 'doing something about it'. This MUST happen after Laugh Tale, after Luffy is satisfied with his travels and THEN he can obtain the One Piece, which might be allegoric and not a materialistic object or, rather, an event, like a party or something. We can't tell.
As regards to what you said, yes the Road Poneglyph was in Fishman Island, but it was missing. Where is it? We also have no idea. Whether it then lied in Baltigo or was brought there is not the point, the point is that the Revolutionary might have a copy of it. Your reasoning is weak because them asking for Nico Robin does also not imply they would want her to decipher it. Also it does not actually imply it was a Rode Poneglyph they wanted her to decipher, but a normal one. It could also be they simply asked of her in order to protect her. Why? Because they might be aware of the weapon of mass destruction Pluton, Uranus and Poseidon are said to be and it kind of is in scope with their reasons to prevent illed will pirates to get their hands on them. You can somewhat ensure nobody translates them if you get hold of the sole human who can decipher them.
But again, that's also not the point. The point is that somehow, Sabo is connected with it and i am sure of that.
Regarding Shanks, here's how you should look at it: he is an Emperor, that prior to Whitebeard's death fought with Kaido. We don't have clues on whether he got his hands on Kaido's Poneglyph, Big Mom Poneglyph's, Zou's Poneglyph and the hypothetical 4th poneglyph. All we know is that this individual has literally just said let's go claim the one piece. It is safe to say that Shanks somehow has the means of getting there.
Now, don't you think that Kaido and Big mom would've been thinking about Shanks rather than Luffy if they knew he had all 3 Poneglyphs? They would SURELY try to stop him, so my theory is that he never really needed them in the first place. Why? I have absolutely 0 clue as to why he wouldn't need them, besides guessing that he somehow discovered where his captain went and managed to understand the whereabouts of Laugh Tale on his own, some other way.
In the manga covers, Germa’s story we see Mont-d'Or’s book burn freeing Sanji’s brothers, Back in WCI’s arc we see an Admiral in Mont-d'Or’s book, does that mean the Admiral will be free?
I want to believe caribou is working for the revolutionaries after his stint working as Gabiru in the cover stories and he's reporting to Dragon about Pluton and Poseidon.
But if he was, why would he try to kill Luffy in Saobody. DId the cover story happen before or after the fishman arc?
Its going to be so cliche if Blackbeard gets em in his final fight before Luffy beats him.
I'm guessing Imu will be the Quincy King of the One piece manga and be the final boss with his/her immortality and all
from what we have seen of caribou in the latest chapter i feel like he is maybe connected to the black beard pirates?
Ok, lemme first destroy the belief you held with no actual proof that the Road Phoneglyph is with Sabo.
Which is in the form of the question of why?
The revos only care about destroying the current WG's status quo uphold to favour the CDs, which they want to destroy. So why should they care about pirates and their silly treasure hunting games by stealing a Road Phoneglyph? As I said, the WG would be pleased that they got it cuz no one can't get to Baltigo and they have nothing to do with the One Piece nor the race to Laugh Tale, so there's no reason for them to have the Road Phoneglyph or decypher it, nor protecting it. This also invalidates your whole point that they want to protect Robin cuz they don't want pirates getting the weapons. Revolutionaries have no reasons to mingle with pirates in any way. Robin was just a kindred spirit cuz she was a survivor of a civilization where scholars confronted the WG and died. Robin is the last human seedling from that civilization left alive, so it makes sense that they want to get to her to add her to their ranks, mostly to protect her and have her help them against the WG who took it all from her. That's my founded belief anyways, based on the actions and beliefs of both Robin and the Revolutionary Army.
Lemme also invalidate your first point by saying that the war doesn't need to happen after reaching Laugh Tale. The Navy and BlackBeard (and other pirates) will try to intercept Luffy to get the location and get there or to impede him from getting there. That in and on itself may create the biggest war ever and it would also be cool because it could lead to a naval battle, which we had NONE enlongated ones ever in the manga about pirates, so I believe this is more sensical and appealing.
I dunno why you brought Shanks over, but he just said that, at this point in time, he is interested of finding the One Piece. He wasn't before. Now he is. It doesn't mean he had the 4D chess info on how to get there without glyphs, he just wasn't interested until now.
First off, why is there to destroy other people's conceptions and theories? What are you upset about? Is your life so depressing you need to take stuff personally for absolutely no reason? A theory is a theory because it is theoretical. If there is proof to a concept, then it is no theory. It's factual. This is theoretical discussion we are having and you are being a little of a dick about it.
That said, let me ask you this. The revolutionaries have nothing to do with Pirates, correct? Ok. Number 2 of Revolutionaries has obtained the power of the greatest pirate rookie that the world had seen, now being called Emperor of Flames and supposedly one who many rebellious individuals in the world will know follow. Their commander has a D. in his name which has so far only been associated with people related somehow to events that eventually lead to Poneglyph or piracy in general, as well as son of a current Emperor. The revolutionaries want the WG to collapse. Period. This is their intent. And it is dumb to assume that they are not informed about the pirate world. They keep looking at bounties over and over again in the news and they keep attention to it. So your point of "revolutionaries have no reason to mingle with pirates" is not incorrent but it is highly far from what I have just told you, which is Sabo might be a link to a 4th Poneglyph, LIKE IT WAS STATED BY KIDD. Because unless the translation was wrong, the only man important to the story who right now happened to have been involved in some shady stuff is Sabo, who so happens to have a "fire shaped mark" on his face like Kidd said.
About the war, your assumption that it would happen before Luffy gets to Laugh Tale is very improbable, for a very specific reason. Luffy and the crew so far have never really killed or completely eliminated one of their targets. Kaido and Big Mom themselves might still be alive for all we know, but regardless the point is very simple: war at the gates of Laugh Tale, or even simply on the way to Laugh Tale is: 1. unthinkable as laugh tale should not be on anyone's whereabouts so 'intercepting' someone that is going to Laugh Tale is supposedly as hard as intercepting somebody going to the moon. Also, a naval battle that would end up in people fighting and Luffy getting to Laugh Tale through sheer fighting is the least Oda-esque and One Piece-esque way of getting to such a special place. It would be horrific, bland, uncool and quite honestly a very disappointing way to start a war.
About Shanks then, you are completely off? The dude has literally said LET'S*** CLAIM*** the one piece. Knowing where something is or looking out for something are two completely different concepts, because if you can know where something is and decide to NOT claim it, as opposed to you do not know where something is or have no means to get there and then you must go through some hustle to get there.
You are saying he wasn't interested before, and he now is. So you are assuming shanks is now sailing to all the places Luffy has been to to try and discover poneglyphs? Hell no. He got his hands on them already AND KNOWS where the One Piece is. But is that realistic given the amount of competitiveness Big Mom and Kaido showed? Absolutely not, so it is my belief that Shanks knew where Laugh Tale was all along, and knew about the fruit that Luffy had eaten, and since it s now awakened, he is ready to get there to show Luffy the truth behind everything.
Oda also said that now is a good time to start reading one piece because what's coming is literally about the one piece itself. So sorry, but I think your whole concept is plain wrong and you just cannot look beyond what you know.
my theory is that we can merge and mix diff types of haki with each other so ken haki + supreme haki is what shanks used so that explains how shanks only effected greenbull and not the others. this is also a great for end game of one piece as there is 1 more step luffy has to take in order to fully master haki this also explains why shanks literally "damaged" greenbull even when he was an admiral maybe shanks infused armament in his supreme haki too
I don't know if anyone made this theory before someone probably has but its about roger and garp never fought rocks at god valley.
Reason i say this is because the rocks pirates were just stacked, they had Ochoku and silver axe we don't know anything about these 2 but if they were on the same ship as the others its safe to say that they're pretty strong, it also had Captain john the same person who has the second biggest treasure after the one piece, his treasure is so big that buggy who probably knows the way to laughtale has more interested in the treasure more than the one piece.
It also had shiki the golden lion the first person and only person until luffy had broken out of impel down and right after killed hundreds of marines and fought garp and sengoku, kaido was on the crew as well even though he was young he was still strong as we saw in his flashbacks.
Whitebeard and big mom were both on the crew as well with Xebec being the Captain of all these pirates he would've been really strong to keep them all together.
With all these members of the rocks crew i highly doubt that roger pirates and marines lead by garp working together would beat them if considering that rocks is most likely stronger than roger and stronger than garp they would've had to 2v1 him but that would leave the other members fighting the rest of the roger pirates and marines and i don't see how anyone including reyleigh could keep up with whitebeard.
It is said that celestial dragons were at god valley and i think it that the celestial dragons that were there were the Gorosei.
Sengoku said that the World Government did everything they could to erase the god valley incident from the world including the rocks pirates but he said if you were living at the time where the rocks pirates were running around that they were the most feared group then, we've seen how the World Government is and how heartless they are so wouldn't it make sense that they should have used the marines killing the strongest pirate group as a message to the whole world that no matter how strong you are you can never go against us instead of hide it as much as possible.
The only time the world government hides stuff is when its connected to them directly and i mean the Gorosei and imu, nobody in the world even knows about imu existence, and the only other time they've destroyed and island like god valley is when ohara was learning too much about the void century.
Sengoku says that garp doesn't like talking about god valley because he teamed up with roger but whenever roger is brought up he doesn't really give that type of vibe but whenever the celestial dragons are brought up he gives the same vibe as whenever god valley brought up.
And if you think about it would Roger the man who believes in freedom team up with marines to protect slaves who have no freedom against a man who is following his dream
It's called "having theories and conceptions of my own". I know it's just a theory, but I don't like it, so I just wanted to offer a more viable one that makes sense and try to convince you it's better that the one you came up with. It's called having opinions and arguing.
Anyways, the fact that some of the revolutionaries have ties with pirates like Dragon having a pirate son and Sabo having a pirate brother means squat. Here's a list of the things you said that are tied to the two in command PERSONALLY and not in a general manner, like you seem to believe for some odd reason:
-The fact Sabo gained a DF power owned by a pirate.
-The people who are revolting against their own kingdom because of the murder of Cobra.
-Luffy's new status.
-The fact that they inform themselves about the state of the world, pirates included.
Revolutionaries and pirates don't have the same objectives, which is why it doesn't mean they don't clash as opposites from time to time. This is something that was said by Robin almost ad verbatum in post Enies Lobby.
Another thing I want to check is the fact that you think the D. is related to infamy and piracy. Why piracy? There have been individuals with a D. in their name that are in the Marines and even are just civillians. Examples of this are Garp Saul and Ace's mother Rouge. None of them are pirates. Rouge relates to one due to having carried Roger's son, but that means very little on her personal affiliation.
About bounties, those too aren't reserved for pirates only. They are made for criminals. Sabo has one, Dragon has been hinted to have one and they are all not pirates. Bandits also have them, Robin had one before she ever decided to put foot on a pirate ship too. These aren't reserved for pirates, so them checking bounties, while I don't say they aren't also informing themselves about pirates, it is far, far, FAR more likely they're checking bounty posters of people who are insurgents or criminals who may benefit from joining them. After all, all of them are outlaws, so it makes sense that they use bounties as a way to identify possible recruits for their own organization.
Now, onto the rest:
-Kidd never said it was Sabo the man who they were talking about. In fact, "marked by flames" could also imply imprints on the skin, marks, like, I dunno, slave marks or the marks of the Sun Pirates? A former slave or a former fishman pirate are far more likely to be it than a character who, right now is MIA and has nothing to do with piracy or what they want. Also, yikes, saying the tls are wrong and your baseless speculation is right. Sheesh.
-About what you said about "never killing their targets", that doesn't invalidate the fact that they'd be defending themselves from people who want to destroy them and their home while they're at sea. Also, your point about being impossible to get to someone who goes to Laugh Tale, Vivre Card and tailing as a concept exists. Your assumption that a naval battle is impossible in a pirates manga is also the most laughable thing you've said so far.
Your conception of Shanks is the one where people think he's an all-knowing being, so I'm going to just stop questioning your logic about it cuz it doesn't merit my time arguing with people who think Shanks knew all the time.
Also the fact that you think Shanks knows where it is and never went because "the competition" implies you do think you can follow someone to Laugh Tale which invalidates your previous point. Man, I should've typed less.
If you want to make theories believable so others think you have a point you should probably use logic and previous facts shown in the story to complement them instead of just dismissing what others say with foundations and proof and think your way of thinking is the right one.
So saying "let me quickly DESTROY what you just said" "you your baseless speculation is right" is sharing opinions? aight mate. You are quite frankly not worth talking to and I am sorry I wasted my own time lmao.
I will go directly to the bullet points because you did not seem to grasp what I said exactly about the revolutionaries.
-
Exactly, Kidd never said it is Sabo. It is my assumption and I believe it to be correct. The note in the paragraph clearly states "The 'man marked by flame' phrasing is unique and can imply a burn or a scar shaped like fire". I never said translations are incorrect, I said that unless they ARE incorrect, then MY assumption is not far fetched at all. Sabo's scar is SHAPED like a literal fireball. He's also technically marked by fire in so many other ways other than literally. Luffy also is technically marked by fire but he's obviously not that person. Sun Pirates marking is a tattoo, just like Dragon's. It is no scar, it is no burn. Shanks scar is quite clearly not a burn. So try again mate. You are far off debunking this 🙂
-
I never said it is impossible to get to someone that is going to Laugh Tale. I said it is impossible to intercept people going to laughtale. Intercepting means you know where a target is going to walk by, or sail by in this case, and you are going to be there. Vivre cards allow you to know a person position. Intercepting is a complete whole other concept. Yet once again you are dead ass wrong and you are laughable for falling into your own mix of wrong words and wrong quotes from what I said.
-
I never stated that Shanks is going to claim the one piece because of "the competition". Shanks will is unknown. We do NOT know what he wants do to with luffy, why he waited/if he waited. We know nothing. It is my assumption that SHANKS was waiting for something, or someone. Just like Roger and Oden said to other individuals that somebody in 20 years will arrive, and people waited, so he could have waited. Also I never said that Shanks will be waiting for Luffy to GET TO LAUGH TALE. I think Shanks will already BE in/on/at Laugh Tale by the time Luffy gets there as he is already aware of that. Could be wrong, but the point is you, again, did not understand a single word of what I said.
-
I never stated that Shanks is an all knowing being. I sure think he knows more than most if not more than any one else. He has stated that he is going to claim the one piece. Explain that to me, or actually, just don't, cause Im not interested in your opinion anymore.
I also never dismissed anyone's opinion. You are the one who acted all high and mighty and started spouting nonesense in a very salty and toxic manner, so get your own facts straight and please stop replying because you are barely worth reading, if anything commenting to what you said was out of pure interest for theories (many of which I have already gotten correct on reddit, through the years) since you are very badly mannered for the social network environments. So please piss off, thank you
Yeah, you're a waste of time in general. You're petty, arrogant, your theories are baseless and you like to attack people.
Bye-bye.
Said the guy who replied to me with "so let me destroy what you just said" 😂 bye-bye to you my friend.
You all calm down this is for your own theories not proving others wrong that’s toxic but here’s my theory about the end of op. Ok so luffy becomes the king of the pirates then destroys the redline (specifically mariejoie) (can’t spell) but then teams up with his father to destroy the wg and bring freedom to the entire world and build a new and more peaceful world plus multiple rulers will join after wg is dissolved e.g. vivi, momo, shirahosi
@dim cloak @hallow epoch This channel is a place for people to exchange their theories and what they theorize can happen in the series (As long as the theory is not trolling). There is no need to feel any superiority towards any other person for having a different belief. There are other angles that neither of you have talked about even in regards to this conversation, such as many people thinking Shanks was present for this scene. Or discussing Whitebeard's speech during Marineford where he says, "Some day, one will arise who will challenge the world, and should centuries of history. Sengoku, you and the world government fear the great war that will come to this world one day. I'm not interested in the treasure, but when it's found, the whole world will be turned upside down. " This whole speech implies finding the true history on Laughtale will spark the war. But One Piece, as stated by Simone, can be more symbolic, such as the destruction of the redline, making the world all one sea, thus all blue, thus one piece, something along those lines. Basically what I'm saying is, it's silly due outright debase most theories because there are plenty of things you may not be thinking about in that moment, and that's why we all come to this channel to exchange these ideas and see how we can better create our theories.
And if y'all dont like each other, just feel free to block each other.
I concur, Rayleigh's speech as well as Whitebeards speech have always led me to believe that the Straw Hats will lay waste once Laugh Tale is found and I am fond of the idea of "change" happening as an outcome of the war. I would prefer Luffy to walk on a battlefield being regarded as the man who found One Piece, as opposed to him finding it and no one knowing about it.
Shanks role in all of this is very cryptic and if anything I am very sure he has means of getting to the One Piece. It would be cheesy for Oda to have him "capable" of that simply because being an Emperor 'allowed him to achieve the Road Poneglyphs fighting other emperors in the past'. I think his character is best suited for always totally being aware of where it was.
I think Shank will swing his sword at Barto, he then will use his barrier as Barto calmly tell shanks, “what’s wrong? Need another hand”.
Barrier won't protect Barto from Shanks' Giga-CoC
if that certain someone caribou is talking is blackbeard and momo doesn’t release pluton yet and keeps it how it is. what if blackbeard will make a trip to wano now that kaido is gone and get the ancient weapon for himself? whether he uses his powers or sanjuan wolf to break the barriers of wano. momo gets faced with a new task of protecting wano against another yonko/admiral threat without luffy or the straw hats there to help. (he’d ultimately fail imo so idk how it plays out for his character)
I wonder what Luffy does if the admirals are cornering sabo and BB is going to Wano, does he help Momo or Sabo
my theory is that shanks was supposed to be a special movie character from the beginning, he would be hyped a lot but rarely shown in the canon material, so it would create anticipation and his movie would be a box office hit.
When you say beginning…?
My theory , is that Monkey D Dragon, (luffys father) is Uranus, or ate the Devil fruit, there are rumors' that Uranus can control weather, and remember what happened when buggy was gonna execute luffy and a thunderbolt hit then dragon gets introduced smiling, that's not a coincidence an the sudden change of the weather as soon as dragon arrived not a coincidence at all. so probably Dragon is Uranus or ate he Uranus fruit
Is it safe to assume carrot is gonna stove away on the Straw Hat ship(Similar to how Cat and Dog did) when taking into account her last panel makes her conflicted when thinking about Pedro? I would think Pedro would try to join the Straw Hats in some capacity.
I think it might be possible but I think she’s gonna rule over zou
One funny thing is that if Yamoto is gonna try to cling to the anchor of the ship then he is gonna fail cuz of DF
or atleast play out differently
Well Yamato has the ice so they can just slide
Do we have a good theory on the man marked by flames yet?
most popular ones are aokiji urouge or sabo i think
based on laws reaction i assumed it was sabo
why?
my fav theory is urouge or some random person we dont know yet
Probably someone we don't know tbh, but slight possibility its aokiji just cuz of his scar
almost like he didnt wanna tell luffy about what sabo was doing
Thats a lot take get from just his face being shaded, and I don't see why he'd be against telling luffy what sabo is doing. But even outside of that sort of thing, Kid shouldn't think finding sabo would help him whatsoever in finding raftel
I keep pushing for the person being a character we haven't met yet cuz Kidd has underground affiliations (seen when he went to the slave auction house and tuned in for the Shinokuni presentation) and the main cast have not entered that world enough to even know who he talks about.
And also that the flame mark is more of a mark made by flames, ala Hoof of the Celestial Dragons or the Sun Emblem from the Sun Pirates.
Mainly because all of the candidate characters we know that may fit the bill don't make sense.
also sabo has a burn mark on his face
i think its the safest bet as of right now
It really isn't. Him having a scar isn't enough to make him a safe, or the safest bet
also i think killers statement might be being taken out of context. He didnt directly say this character is super important to finding the one piece but that he needs to be taken seriously. and i think thats defintely true now becuase of sabos positition in the world
?
The context was one piece though
there'd be no reason to randomly slip in a mention of sabo, even if for whatever random reason they had business with him
There's no reason for the revos to have the glyph or be able to read it, nor have clues about it.
Neither for Aokiji, since if he did, he wouldn't keep it from BB (specially because it's so obvious that he's a double agent not even BB's officers buy into it and don't trust him at all).
Yea ig
My bet is on Scopper Gaban
Who the hell is that guy?
You keep bringing him up as if he's a well-known, famous and charismatic character.
Scopper Gaban was a member of the Roger Pirates. Gaban is a tall, well-built man with long black hair. His hair is tied in a bushy ponytail in the back, while two thin strands of hair fall over his face. He is always seen wearing a pair of round, black sunglasses. 27 years ago, he wore a long-sleeved blue shirt with white stripes on each sleeve,...
Well he is fairly well known
being the guy that seems to be #3 on roger's crew, wouldn't be too surprising if he was still around and could be used for info on one piece
the only issue ofc is speculating on whether or not he has a burn mark, but it wouldn't be hard for oda to say "oh yea he has a burn mark on his left calf"
oh okay
I think it’s someone new like Vegapunk. Sabo and kids prob haven’t even meet. And what info would sabo even have
We have no reason to think Sabo knows how to read glyphs
What happens if Luffy ate a rumble ball
Not a question for this channel. Better fit for #manga
Seen theories and assumed
Totally fair assumption. The channel description describes what this channel is for.
Man marked with flames...who could that be?
I still say a previously unknown Ohara survivor. They need to Poneglyph's translated somehow
Why do people want Robin's tragic backstory and pivotal importance be retconned by a survivor of a place only she survived from?
From a story, world-building and narrative perspective, Ohara is best employed when used as a tragic historic reminder of what defiance to the World Government gets you. They were as meticulous as to even blow the fuck up of the civillian ship "just in case", it would be REALLY difficult to, while surrounded by 10 warships and bombarded the hell up with cannonballs strong enough to bring down the whole island off the maps, somehow come with a vessel, go undetected and flee the island. None of the scholars would've fled either cuz they were too busy throwing the books out to the sea so they aren't burned and can be conserved, so I would really be pissed off if one of them cowardly rejected their fate and somehow managed to get away like a dog from his companions' brave last stand.
As I said, it is probably a former slave or a former Sun Pirate. If it isn't, I'm still 100% certain it's a new character.
sn
Someone new. I doubt sabo bc what would he know on laughtale and idk how kidd would even have meet him. Or aokiji which I’d also say no. Bc he’s with bb. I’d say it might be vegapuncu bc he was in the ceaser explosion and if anyone have info it’s him. And he might be able to fix killer. So I think Vegapunk
Got very excited to learn about the newly revealed Cross Guild faction, my acquired thoughts (and speculation) can be found on this link (https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/wi1udy/why_a_recently_revealed_faction_makes_complete/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
The Lich!
Indeed
Why do I feel like that it's not actually mihhawk working under buggy but a some1 who can change their appearance or something
Kaido and Big Mom were sent flying by Luffy. First time in a while
No, it may be the usual upwards failing for Buggy. In exchange of cooperation, Mihawk sought Buggy out to be protected from buggers who keep trying to hunt them (look at how he lived in his own island, man really likes his personal space and his peace of mind).
And the whole Cross Guild thing might've been Crocodile's plan that he has been concocting offscreen for the past 2 years and he needed personnel to pull it off, which is why he also sought Buggy.
Instead of this being a collaboration where Crocodile is the ringleader, Buggy was credited because he is the man with the manpower, so Crocodile and Mihawk were thought to be recruited into his crew instead of the truth, making it seem much more favorable for le funny crown.
Adding to my thoughts on Crocodile's inclusion, he has seen first-hand how much of an idiot Buggy is. He may be plotting to kill him and take over his position or, hell, considering his time in prison, may be using him as a scapegoat to get away with all the shit he wants to do.
This is all speculation, but given both Mihawk and Crocodile's personalities and motivations, this would be a very likely scenario of why they sought Buggy out.
It also makes sense why they went to him. From all the warlords, only Boa and Buggy had the personnel to pull off Crocodile's plan, but Boa is fickle and also allied with Luffy, whom Crocodile hates (yes, in spite of their collaboration in Impel Down and Marineford).
Weevil is a one man army and also an idiot, so nothing really can be utilized from him besides raw strength and I believe there wasn't anymore active Warlords, cuz Kuma was being used as a slave in rotation in Mariejois and the rest are either defeated and incarcerated/MIA (Moria and Doflamingo), Law doesn't have nearly enough people to pull something off or serve as protection for neither Croco or Mihawk and BlackBeard seeks out DF users to kill them and take their powers, so bit risky on Croco's part and Mihawk wouldn't really vibe with BlackBeard much and Jinbe is currently Straw-Hatted, so yeah, they really had no much other choice.
Centuries ago Earth God Imu bore a child and named him Sun God Nika.
Imu believed in absolute power while Nika believed in Freedom. Nika liberated the oppressed people from his mothers control. Nika and the gods rebelled against Imu. They barely lost and as a last resort they infused their powers into fruits so one day someone would defeat Imu, Imu cursed the fruits by removing their ability to swim and gave them the names of Devil Fruits. those with the initial D are the decedents of the Gods who were called Devils for their rebellion against Imu
is this why D became pirates (and others got inspired by that)in order to oppose IMU(CDs).??
why orouge?
Nami is uranus. Uranus is the god of sky. Oda hintednus many times, since skypiea. Enel wants her, as we know enel is ruler of the sky. Kuma transport her in weatheria, where people study weather in sky. Her weapon is about weather. She is now the new owner of zeus, which is a thunder cloud in the sky.
JoyBoy is a lunarian or atleast closely related to lunarians. It's stated that lunarians have silver-white hair and have the ability to ignite and manipulate the fire they create. This explains why when JoyBoy was awakened you can see luffys hair is ignited in silver-white flames with a trail of smoke/clouds almost roped around his body, this ties into the manipulation of flame the lunarians have, also notice how clouds are forming on luffy, could that be related to lunarians having wings and the sky they flew on? It's also stated that lunarians are granted incredible resistance to physical harm allowing them to thrive in any natural environment, this can tie into how Gear 5 grants the user increased physical strength and freedom, allowing them to fight in ANY WAY THEY PLEASE. I can add way more to this theory as to why I think this but that's it for now. (This is my first theory please bear with me)
Blackbeard can’t turn into darkness because he is constantly surrounded by light. If he were to be in complete darkness he would be able to transform like normal. Which is why he put a tarp over white beard when he died so he could absorb the devil fruit power
Also he wouldn’t be able to transform at night on most occasions because of moonlight. He might be able to when the moon isn’t reflecting any light but that’s on rare occasions
Hm
Really really interesting
Katarina Devon maybe? Black beard pulling strings for more power
But isn't it that darkness absorbs light?
Maybe but since blackbeards actual body is being touched by the light instead of darkness it still gets nullified
I’d imagine if he went up against kizaru and used a flash bang move before Blackbeard could defend he wouldn’t be able to use his darkness powers
Like during alabasta crocodile could absorb water from luffy using his attacks but if it got on him directly he was in trouble
Call me crazy here
But I feel like Oda is hinting at the possibility of extremely powerful people like Luffy, Shanks and Rayleigh having unique types of Busoshoku, Haoshoku and Kenbunshoku Haki
It's already been stated multiple times in Wano that Luffy saw Rayleigh use Internal Destruction in Sabaody to destroy Camie's collar, and Luffy was freely using it during his battle against Kaido, it's 1 of the 3 most important factors that aided in Kaido's defeat.
And so far, only Rayleigh and Luffy were explicity shown using this type of Advanced Busoshoku Haki.
So what if, and this is just a thought, what if Internal destruction is unique to only a few individuals like Rayleigh and Luffy?
What if the reason that we've seen no one else aside from Luffy and Rayleigh use this Haki, is that because this is a property of Busoshoku that only they can access?
You can argue that since Hyogoro knows it, that it must not be unique to only Luffy and a few others, but I need not remind you guys that even though Hyogoro knows advanced Busoshoku application (Emission) he only really said that "What you used to free us is something even I cannot do." Which either implies that it's unique to a few individuals, or that it's extremely difficult to attain.
||And a bit of spoiler, this may be deleted but: Shanks is known by the nickname of "The Killer of Observation Haki" or "Kenbunshoku Haki Goroshi no Shanks" in Japanese.
This may imply that Shanks is either using an extremely advanced form of one of the 3 main types of haki ( most likely Haoshoku Haki) to cancel out future sight, or it's an ability unique to his own Haoshoku.||
I won't, you are right imo cause Shanks haki is said to be special one too many times.
Personally I feel there has to be a hidden figure that we don't know behind Cross Guild. I can't imagine Crocodile being the mastermind. That mystery person would also be the one funding the Marine bounties.
What if Wano was a boat
Well, as a symbol, a cross does have four limbs, so Cross Guild a fourth member/co-founder would make perfect sense. As for the Marine bounty funding, I suspect Buggy found Captain John’s treasure (via the bracelet that Luffy gave to Buggy during the Impel Down arc).
Captain John was part of Rocks’ crew too, I wonder if his treasure had anything else interesting w it beyond just funds
Anyone else?
I could see that, but moreso that it’s just a very advanced application of Haki that only a few people could utilize
It’s definitely plausible that we will see more advanced/ niche uses of CoO and CoC Haki as well
But then again, it could either that route or on my theory's route
I guess I’m having trouble seeing the difference? Are you saying that it’s some sort of innate thing only they can access?
Yes, something only they can have once their ability within the scope of that Haki's limitations, is reached
Which in turn, could mean that there may be various other unique applications of Haki that could appear if ever I am problem correct
@trim crag
So basically what I'm saying is that EVERYONE has the ability to "awaken" their Haki to the point that they gain an exclusive ability that only they can use.
Or in some cases, an ability that only a few can use
Hmm, yeah I mean I don’t think there’s a big practical difference in the end tbh, but yeah I think we’re going to see some unique Haki abilities
And to go a step further into crazy-ville
I'm also proposing that Internal destruction is something unique to Luffy and Rayleigh and possibly even Roger
Didn’t hyogoro explain the base concept of internal destruction to luffy tho? I don’t think he could do it himself, but it sounded like there were people in wano in the past who could use it
I also explained that part
He explained it, but it doesn't exactly disprove that only a few individuals can utilize it
So you’re saying some of the few individuals have been past ppl in wano then?
Potential Captain John treasure items (that isn’t necessarily money): 1- The secret fourth Ancient Weapon (beyond Pluton, Poseidon, and Uranus), Zeus; 2- Cursed coins that afflict the coin takers with zombification (similar to the Aztec treasure from Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl); 3- A clue that would expose Imu’s existence/control over the World Government
Ooo interesting. I’d really love a rocks crew/ imu lore drop
I'm not saying that exactly, but that's not really the point.
It doesn't exactly have to be from a specific place, but rather, what I'm thinking is that a person is granted a unique Haki-based ability when they were born. Basically what I'm saying, what if Internal Destruction was something Luffy was born with? And that he only had to learn how to unlock it
Especially since I suspect everything Sengoku told us about the god valley incident was manufactured
What do you guys think
Eh, maybe. I do kinda think that would go against oda’s whole “be free and choose your own destiny” thing
Ikr? And I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Imu and Mihawk share the same eyes. Could this mean that Mihawk is the runaway heir of Imu’s throne? (And that at some point, Mihawk tried rebelling against Imu, failed miserably, was spared, and then became an isolationist Shichibukai as a coping mechanism)
from new chapters we know luffy df is hito hito no mi model nika but it was known previously as gomu gomu no mi and now as readers we know what it is but what would happen if an actual gomu gomu no mi exists ( seperate from hito hito no mi model nika ) and luffy met the user of the fruit. how confusing and shocked he would be or we might even get some person's appearance who knows about luffy's fruit and might clear their differences or vegapunk himself might know
Interesting idea. Im not totally sold on the eye coincidence thing but who knows
It would be more interesting imo if captain John’s treasure had some sort of logbook on what really happened at god valley
how about this ???
I could see it as a funny gag chapter. Like luffy and some person arguing over who’s a better rubber man
yea. bruh but when i imagined about this why tf a person similiar to ace came to my mind ._.
Tmw Moria reanimates ace’s corpse and feeds him the gum gum fruit
._. we still don't know if he keeps his old power but since we know that df's reincarnate or reappear somewhere else after its user dies. so yea moria might feed him the gum gum fruit
A very fascinating suggestion indeed! And John recording God Valley’s events could be attributed to all sorts of varying motives, too! 1- Maybe there was a conscience (underneath the greed/violence) that made John want to record those events (so that he couldn’t simply pretend those events never happened); 2- Maybe John (per his usual greedy self) wrote the logbook in order to blackmail the true mastermind of the God Valley incident (thus leading to his actual death, not the “killed by crew mates over loot split” explanation we got)
I can’t wait to find out what happened at god valley. I just don’t see garp and roger putting their differences aside to… defend slavery? Especially since garp doesn’t directly report to the celestial dragons. Rocks was labeled evil but pretty much everyone the government has labeled as evil really hasn’t been lol
Also begs the question of why the celestial dragons were at god valley in the first place
Maybe god valley was the place where all noble live before as the name also have 'God' in it
Nah, Mariejouise has been fairly established for that. Plus Keeps them way safer geographically, proximity to Imu and the empty throne, etc
proof?
Vacation house maybe then
For what in particular?
There are many mystery till yet but sadly this series ends in 3-4 years than some mystery will remain mystery or just oda will fore shadow everything
Fanfiction time lol
So that's why maybe we get so much information about shanks in new movie so it might be canon
Do you think Laughtale is under Enies Lobby?
Eh, I’ve never really seen a good argument for that (lemme know otherwise). I do think it’s underwater tho. I like the belly of a whale theory.
hopefully no
I am really on board with the name of the ancient kingdom being “one piece” (or “one peace”, “hitotsunagi” can actually be read as “one sea at peace”). Like really, what other name alone could be so dangerous that the government would destroy ohara to make sure that info didn’t leave? It had to be something the average person would recognize
It's just a reference to this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damnatio_memoriae It's not necessarily about the name in and of itself, but what it referes to. Namely the kingdom that opposed the WG. The WG wants to negate even the thought of opposition, so it eradicates any precedent of it.
Damnatio memoriae is a modern Latin phrase meaning "condemnation of memory", indicating that a person is to be excluded from official accounts. Depending on the extent, it can be a case of historical negationism. There are and have been many routes to damnatio memoriae, including the destruction of depictions, the removal of names from inscripti...
Aside from the eyes coincidence, I think Mihawk is a (maybe immortal?) vampire. His sword resembles a cross, and his boat is a literal coffin. He’s practically a vampire!
Interesting I will check this out later thx
He also had like, a lot of income coming from Buggy's Delivery.
Fourth Ancient Weapon is Apollo has something to do with the moon
According to 4 billion book it seems yonko level fighter mastered 2 type of haki.
Shanks is hao and kenbun with his future sight block thingy.
Kaido seems to be buso and hao.
Luffy seems to be gearing toward hao and kenbun mastery like shanks
Indeed. And said income has undoubtedly become even larger with Buggy’s underworld competitor, Doflamingo, having recently been deposed/arrested. 🙂
Ooh, I think you’re onto something here. Maybe Apollo allows its wielder to mind control the Fairy Vearth aliens that Enel encountered?
On another note: I’m beginning to suspect that at some point, Caribou was hired by Crocodile to spy on the Straw Hats (or more specifically, to spy on Robin, whose character arc has involved studying Poneglyphs/Ancient Weapons).
Cross Guild’s endgame (or at least the endgame that Crocodile insists upon) is to hold the world ransom with Pluton (with the intended prize being that all nations/kingdoms of the world are intimidated into submitting to Cross Guild’s authority as the new reigning power).
Oh gosh, if Crocodile is the Hans Gruber of an upcoming Die Hard-inspired arc, does that mean Luffy is John McClain, lol?
I tho for sure joyboy is a tittle for someone way back then. And this joyboy is someone who ate the same fruit as luffy ( like how zenusha who knew joyboy from 800y ago feeling nostalgic about the sound of luffy heartbeat when he turn to g5).
So not because joyboy is lunarian, but because he ate the same fruit as luffy.
That's another stage of aranament haki, I don't believe it being "set" for only certain people, it might apply to different forms of haki, not sure about this one though.
I mean, I won't dismiss that as a possibility since it's not been stated specifically, but you certainly can't dismiss my idea either since there are already SOME evidences suggesting that this is the case.
Just because it's seemingly only a "stage" of Busoshoku doesn't necessarily excuse it from only being accessible (or if not that, then maybe attainable is the right word) to some select few individuals like Luffy and Rayleigh
i like this theory especially since he just now randomly popped up again while everyone was talking about pluton
How did Caribou even get to Wano anyway?
Trying to see when he coulda possibly been hired cause I know he was trying to join the straw hats at Sabaody
we dont know how he got there, he was in the prison if i remember correctly
Any theories about the sin zunesha committed in the past ?
Actually he was captured by X Drake in cover story
oh you are right
Yeah I forgot all about it lol wish cover stories would get animated
I'm thinking some of the pages on chapter 956 were a bit after the Wano Arc or the time Sabo saved Kuma.
Since some of the pages mentioned that something happened to Sabo. Dragon, Koala, Ivan, and Belo Betty can't believe the news and want to confirm the facts before jumping to conclusion that the news is real. The Mountain Bandits and Makino were saddened by the news implying something bad happened to Sabo.
The SSG(Secret Science Group) was created a bit after the Levely and might have something to do with the news about Sabo. Since Kuma no longer has consciousness and was turned into a Human Weapon Sabo might have been caught off guard and was reported that he was captured or defeated, it might be the reason why Blackbeard said in chapter 956"If they're going to be picked up by the marines I'll just grab 'em first" which might indicate the capture or defeat of Sabo and the 3 Revolutionary Army Commanders(Karasu, Morley, and Lindbergh). Though it might be a bit impossible for PX-0 Kuma to do it alone which might indicate Lindbergh is in cahoots with the SSG since he's a science sort of character.
I wonder if there's way to remove a devil fruit from a living user..? Just wondering if you guys have any theories on this part
I don't think it's possible
Yeah I assumed some pages were like a future event but really not 100% sure
i dont think the SSG was formed after the Levely, i think they have been a thing for a while but recently finished something they have been working on for a while
like its a science group, they dont just get formed and like immediatly can replace the Shichibukai
956 might have been slightly in the future compared to the point we were in Wano at the time, but i dont think that the chapter played like so many weeks in the future, we saw the paper at the time with the big headline that the Shichibukai system got abolished and the current newspaper had first the big Yonkou headline and now a couple days later the stuff about the cross guild
how is "maybe laughtale is in sanjuans belly" a joke theory? like its not even the most ridiculous thing oda has pulled
Please read the channel description. Even ignoring the silly nature of what you posted, it didn’t meet the requirements for this channel anyway. If you have any further questions please DM a mod rather than carrying the topic here
Seems to have a decent amount of plausibility since:
- laughtale being above water would make it too easy to find. Plus, you could triangulate the location with only 3/4 roads ponyglyphs
- island whales are already established, there’s a ton of whale symbolism when laughtale is mentioned
-wouldn’t it be poetic if the first and last island in the grand line were both in the bellies of whales
Regarding the possibility of other ex-Warlords joining Cross Guild:
I’d very much like to see Doflamingo escape Impel Down and then attempt to worm his way into Cross Guild’s inner circle, eventually plotting some sort of massive betrayal in an attempt to seize sole control over Cross Guild.
Weevil is a blindly loyal mama’s boy, he will only fight or ally with Cross Guild if his mom wishes it so.
Boa is 100% lovestruck/loyal to Luffy, but could possibly join Cross Guild in order to covertly serve as Luffy’s informant.
I wouldn't be surprised if his mom had them join the Cross Guild. It gives them stability.
What do you guys think of the potential that Shanks is using Luffy?
As a covert mentor, yes Shanks is using Luffy. As an ill intentioned mastermind? I don’t think so. And on another note, I can’t believe I forgot about Moria. Moria has reasons to despise both Luffy and Blackbeard, and I don’t see him meshing well with Shanks, which means it’s very plausible for Moria to align himself with Cross Guild (solely to get revenge on Luffy and Blackbeard).
That gives me some comfort. I am not sure if Moria will join the Cross Guild tho. My reasoning is that he has always done his own thing really. I mean he spent most of his time building an army, wanting to get revenge against Kaido right?
Real talk tho, what is the chance that Blackbeard has one of each type of fruit.
If Darkness is ultimate Logia, Quake is ultimate Paramecia, then perhaps Blackbeard can extract Kaido’s Dragon DF from Kaido’s corpse/ashes?
I am thinking like a kraken fruit 🤔
The kraken theory is common but I think it has a ton of holes as I described here #manga-theories message
Great points, how about this than, I was thinking the other day. WHAT if blackbeard was an escaped experiment/purposely released of Vegapunk?
Moria striking out on his own hasn’t yielded any long term success in the modern day (as far as I’m aware), and Luffy has essentially beat Moria to the punch (of defeating Kaido). Moria’s in need of new purpose/allies, and getting revenge on the two other people (Luffy, Blackbeard) who significantly wronged him qualifies as sufficient purpose. As for the topic of army building, Moria is also notoriously lazy and thus, may be relieved to take a backseat while Buggy’s celebrity status does the heavy lifting of gathering Cross Guild recruits. (Though on the other hand, maybe Moria will stop being lazy, and actually bother merging his zombie army into Cross Guild’s ranks, thus giving Cross Guild the manpower to theoretically hunt down every Marine in the world?)
Is there any evidence of him being a VP experiment? Not aware of any
Not yet, but we also don't know much about his life as a child, other than joining whitebeards crew after growing up as an orphan.
Yeah, we just know he was born in the grand line and at some point separated from his parents. I don't buy the idea that it was a coincidence he ran into WB's crew, so I think his plan was already in motion at that point
His character is just such an enigma 👻
Gosh, how epic would it be if it turned out Blackbeard’s true reason for killing/usurping WB was to get revenge on WB for being the key person responsible for betraying Rocks (Blackbeard’s dad/or other relative) to Garp and Roger during the God Valley incident?
I just want a God Valley movie!!!!
Kaido and big mom are still alive on pluton
That’d be an amusing way to explain their survival, but without any food and other resources from their respective crews, how do they expect to survive on Pluton in the long term? Last I checked, Pluton is a weapon of mass destruction, not an infinite supply depot.
They would die from injures
What devil fruit awakenings would have been capable of creating the red line and wano wall? Magu Magu and Hito Hito Model:Nika come to mind. Gura Gura maybe?
Gorosei give new info on Yonko situation: there is only one fruit awakening to rival the Nika fruit, it's power is also ridiculous! The power to split anything! Even atoms!
Underling: wow captain Elbaf sure is big!
Captain: DID YOU JUST SAY MY NOSE IS BIG??
Zushi Zushi and Oshi Oshi maybe? @deep yacht
lol
Akainu devil fruit is the only one that makes sense to me
i re-read 1056 and wonder about mystery man with flame mark that kid mentioned
could it be a someone that survived ohara incident? 🤔
It's urouge
its not confirmed abt who it is but there are a lot of theories that make sense
That’s isn’t even in the same league if things hes been through. He fought bm for 3 days. Fought 16 yc to admiral lvl ppl. Fought g5 Luffy and 2 rounds of it. Was smashed with an island sized fist and pushed into lava for a week. All without medical attention. And you telling me falling is the same tier as that
I have found this truth out the hard way
I should've said so first I'm sorry 😭
It’s ok I’ve been judging your tastes
lmao
Why didn’t Luffy say anything to mononosuke before leaving ?
could be wrong but i dont think they have left yet. but they are about to
i heard someone say it might just be for oda to get a cool drawing of dragon momo flying saying bye to the strawhats on the sunny
They did
Just another bounty prediction.
Posting this here as public proof.
|| From what we know from BM & Kaido, a yonko bounty is roughly their top fighters' bounties combined + some.
Kaido's 3 commanders bounty is 3.7b and Kaido himself is 4.6b
BM's 4 commanders is around 3.5b, BM herself 4.3b.
Now that Luffy's bounty is 3b, Zoro & Sanji can't have bounties over 1.5b each, this is my assumption #1.
My assumption #2 is their bounties can't be lower than 3rd highest bounty, which is smoothie's at around 900m.
Assumption #3 is oda likes to play with numbers. Luffy's bounty is previously 30m, 300m, and now 3000m. Or, 500m, 1500m, and now 3000m.
Zoro's is easy. He previously had 120m, which can now translate to 1.2b. Safe prediction.
Sanji's used to have 77, 177, and 330.
He can have 1.3b bounty, but since zoro is Oda's favorite, Sanji can't have his final bounty to be higher than zoro, thus this number is unlikely.
However, with some play, we can use 77(0) + 330 = 1.1b.
Since their bounties are portrayed close to each other's numbers, zoro at 1.2b and sanji at 1.1b is a safe bet that fulfill all of my assumptions above. ||
mb
Who is the guy with the burn scar
Better be ur bad
people think its uruoge because he hasnt done anything really and he has fire tattoos
Which side characters do you think joined the Cross Guild?
Mihawk
Urouge did manage to defeat one former sweet commander (Charlotte Snack) . He might have met Kid and his crew before raiding Snack. So they had a temporary alliance.
Maybe they got a copy from BM's lode poneglyph out of the fight. Otherwise, I can't imagine Cracker going after Urouge, just for defeating (not killing) his brother. If it ain't important business BM wouldn't send him.
Besides those who are confirmed
Definitely someone undercover from Sword is working there, I assume it's either Drake's new mission or Helmeppo (he's not a big marine name and can go undercover easily)
I dont know because he wouldnt know about the one piece
I think people think that because he is the only one out of the worst gen that hasn’t gotten any screen time (besides Bonney)
It will say it next chapter though who it is right?
Who knows, wait until the chapter summary comes out if you wanna know
when does the first set of spoilers come out
Prob next monday or next Saturday or Sunday it varies from week to week
ok
Boa possibly since all the other warlords teamed up
blackbeard is gonna use gecko moria to revive rocks to help him get the one piece or do whatever he wants to do me thinks
bros literally a rocks fanboy i dont think its a coincidence hes beefing with the only guy who can bring people back from the dead, blackbeard is smart
Is this some ninja stuff?
L
im literally right
How r u right
If rocks is dead
He won't be the orginal rocks
blackbeard will force gecko moria to bring him back somehow
hes a massive fanboy i feel its very likely to happen and that luffy will take down blackbeard and rocks on laugh tale causing a literal historical number
Theory- Since we saw Imu holding a picture of Vivi, something will probably happen to her. Possibly her capture, but what reason could the WG put out for the capture of the princess? Well, the fact that she was once in the straw hats. You might be thinking that they do not know that. But there’s one man who does. Wapol, when wapol encountered the straw hats, he also saw Vivi among them. He’s probably conscious of the fact that she was part of the straw hats. Wapol would have told the WG the truth because of two reasons.
- He already slapped Vivi once. So he probably doesn’t like her.
- Cobra humiliated him in a past reverie. It might be some sort of way for him to get revenge.
Credits to Luffylosophe on YouTube for this theory
Hey guys, I am looking for a theory which I think I saw somewhere but can't really remember.
The theme was "turning the world on it's head". Those are the words Roger said to Rayleigh and I believe there were more instances where this exact phrase was displayed in the manga. Anyone remember what I am talking about?
checkered fate?
Don’t know about theory but Roger says let’s turn the world upside down and that’s how whitebeard describes the world once the one piece is found
Rocks d xebec has 3 children shanks bb and luffy’s mom which would mean that luffy would have garp and xebec as grandfather, dragon as father and blackbeard and shanks are his oncles
Nice points Vain
Instead of luffy mom dragon will make sense because he looks like xebec too and garp never told that dragon was his son maybe garp had daughter which married to dragon
"Born as Garp's son"
Maybe than dragon was adopted by garp
When Garp referred to Luffy's father he always called him "Luffy's father". We have never witnessed how Garp talked about Dragon as his son. No thought process or evidence of relation at all. And it seems that Garp is always only raging on luffys doings as a pirate instead of dragon who is the literal enemy of the ones garp is "supposed" to work.
Both might work together or share the same philosophy. In the end Dragon does not intend to destroy the marine but wants to crush the World Government. Garp isn't fond of the WG too, but he remained as the symbol of the marines.
So there are two things where you can go to
1: Garp & Dragon and aren't bloodrelated, and dragon took the name of luffys mother as a measurement of hiding his own identity and to carry on his wifes Will.
2: Dragon is not Garps son, but his daughter who turned into a man with the help of Ivan. Thats why Garp doesnt call him his daughter, but luffys father since he may have been a male when luffy was born. But this is not likely to be the case since Ivan admitted that even to him a commander, dragon remains a private mysterious man. and second, garp doesnt even about dragon like he would be related to him in any way
AYO ? what are the chances man. I was just spending 20 minutes to this essay. and you come up with the same topic
No, because it says he was born as Garp's son. If you are born as someone's son, it means that person contributed to making you be born
Where photo is that?
That's a vivre card
We could easily expect to see Oda write: "yamato was born as kaido's son", so I don't 100% agree with this take.
What is there to interpret? If you are born as someone's son, it means you are genetically related
We might see yamato turning to male with help of ivankov if he choose to travel with straw hats
These statement might not be meant to be taken literally, is what I'm saying.
What reason would we have to assume it isn't meant literally?
None whatsoever, but what reason do we have to assume it IS meant literally
Just look at face of dragon and garp they don't have any similarity so far and luffy looks more like garp rather dragon
You can't pretend we have no reason to assume it is meant literally. In general we assume everything is meant literally. You are pretending there is no reason to believe anything, but we have plenty of reason to believe plenty of things meant literally. If we were to compile a list of all statements ever made in a vivre card, we would find they were all meant literally
It could also be that they don't have a good relationship and he disowned Dragon.
Compare BM's kids to BM. Which would you say look like her? Dragon's mom could be related to Xebec, perhaps his sister, which would also explain why Dragon looks similar to Xebec's silhouette
well when he talked about him he seemed like he was pretty cool about him
I think during God Valley Dragon was 17 years old already.
Dragons mom you mean garps wife? Are your serious? Why would a girl marry to person who killed her brother
I can if I want to make a dumb theory.
Additionally, I feel like at this point a lot of people expect a twist with Luffy's heritage, and at point its worth re-examining everything we think we know
At this point people literally theorising that xebec had three kids
I'll repost my theory on Dragon's appearance here:
I think Xebec had a sister who hid her Lunarian ancestry so that she could live a normal life while Xebec was hyper committed to wiping out the CDs once and for all. 800 years of rape, slavery and imprisonment needed to be ended.
I think that somewhere along the way, Garp met Xebec’s sister and eventually had a kid, Dragon, together. So Dragon is Xebec’s nephew, which is why they have a somewhat similar appearance. One day, an event took place involving CDs, Xebec, his sister and perhaps others. As a result of this event/conflict, Xebec’s sister, Garp’s wife, ended up being killed. I think the situation was complicated. I think Garp blamed Xebec for his wife’s death. I think Xebec blamed the CDs. This ended up being why Garp has an unwavering belief that pirates need to be eliminated and why Xebec decided to plan a huge attack on Marie Jois. Garp sees pirate’s fight for freedom as hopeless (because he’s a worthless coward) and just creating needless death. Xebec (correctly) believes 800 years of rape and slavery is enough reason to sacrifice some lives for long term freedom.
So long as a vivrecard directly says Dragon is Garp's biological son, we can't just pretend that doesn't exist. It could very well end up that it gets retconned, but its entirely contradictory to the canon to say anything else is true
Does the vivre card say that dragon is xebecs - I mean Garps - biological son?
No, the vivre card says dragon was born as garps son
If you emerge from the womb as someone's son, it feels like there is really only way for that to be true
What this theory really makes me think about is how in the shitting shit did Garp becomes the Navy's bitch - I hope he's not a coward
If you see that sentence it could also means that dragon accepted garp as his father and narrator tells in deep voice " on that day dragon was born as garps son" it could mean anything
I don't see point to include 'garps son' particularly because they could have just written ' dragon was born '
I just looked up Yamato's vivre card and his timeline starts with "Born as Kaido's daughter" so its a theme of vivre cards to show this. Incrediblly dissappointed that the vivre card uses she/her and daughter for the entirety of yamato's vivre card?
And why and how a child will look like similar to his mother brother wtf
I mean, I have a theory that Dragon is adopted, that's why Roger knew Garp will adopt Ace.
If my theory ends up being true, the reason Garp is so rigidly insistent on pirates being wiped out, to the point of letting Ace be killed, is he has a deeply tragic past. I think Marine Ford showed us Garp is essentially incapable of seeing any sort of ethical nuance regarding pirates. The whole situation is very simple to him, pirates need to be wiped out. Whether you are a good guy or a bad guy, if you're a pirate, you gotta go.
If it really is that Garp blames his wife's death on pirates trying to defeat the WG, it makes sense for that to be the kind of thing to make him deeply illogical and rigid in his belief structure. Granted, we basically have zero evidence for that. But if we accept Dragon is Garp's son, Dragon must have some reason for looking like Xebec. Garp's wife's death radicalizing both Xebec (motivating God Valley) and Garp (allowing Ace to die) fits pretty well in my eyes. But again, the information is so limited I won't pretend this is a solid prediction by any means. But with the info we got, I think its the best we got
Yeah maybe Roger saw garp adopting dragon so he entrust his own son too it makes sense
If a friend of mine asked me to save their kid's life, I would do it too, because I'm not a shit head. I have never adopted any kids before, its just that saving a child's life is something nice people do
During the God Valley incident Garp was 40 years old and Dragon 17. Sounds like reasonable ages.
Question is. Who tf is Dragon and what has he been doing
Adopting a 17 year old wouldnt match
what
But why the child should bear the sin of his parent so that's why garp gave dragon his name to keep him safe from Marines and dragon accepted this to
Xebec is still in silhouette territory so it doesn't matter that they resemble each other.
I really wonder if Garp has CoC, does any marine? the colour of the supreme king aren't supposed to enjoy being told what to do
@modest skiff tell me why a child will resemble his mother brother rather than his parents
If its a boy he can resemble his uncle more than his father rather easily, its not uncommon, just means the wifes genes won out but the kid isnt a girl
This isn't actually uncommon. And you're forgetting a sister can look similar to her brother
Nah it won't be that complex rather than this it makes sense that garp had daughter which married to dragon and dragon took his wife name and maybe she was killed by cd that's why garp also don't want to become admiral and dragon formed revolutionaries
In the end it all depends on what kind of relations dragon had to people. He was there when Roger was executed. He was 17 during God Valley.
And he is the most wanted man on the planet. What must he know what must he have done to be a person that dangerous.
Blackbeard has some connection to Xebec and he was 2 years old during God Valley.
Kuma was 9 during god valley. maybe dragon and kuma shared a past
Maybe even vegapunk was invovled in all this.
I personally think that vegapunks appearing will solve a lot riddles. he will be the link between lots of mysteries and people. but thats another topic
In order for that to be true, the vivre card would need to be wrong. You have no reason to assume the vivre card is wrong, so you're essentially just making up a fake narrative.
I think the xebec - shanks connections is too strong for garp/dragon to be involved in that. Either its all one massive cluster fuck and they are all related or Luffys mother is someone else entirely
If it would have been only for revolutionary army i don't think dragon would be that wanted so their must be some sort of mystery history of dragon which Wg is scared of and biting there nails
BlackBeard was actually one year old in God's Valley.
That happened 39 years ago and he's 40.
Also, not nudging anyone towards a personal theory of mine, but Shanks and Buggy were born 39 years ago, the exact same year God's Valley Incident took place.
Take that as you will.
i mean we just found out about Shanks origin
Where i can read vivire card?
We aren't told anything but Buggy, but we know about Shanks #also-manga message
At god valley there were noble and slaves too so shanks could be CD. So maybe That's why we saw shanks meeting gorosei and they weren't looking that much suprised
very possible yeah, he could be either Rocks kid or more likely especially with the info from the movie he is a CD
And we saw in dressrosa senõr wear baby dress to make her wife smile and maybe for something similar reason buggy wants to be clown
This is more of a question for the theorists in the channel… I’ve read so many theories that involve rocks d xebec. But he appears so few times in the story. Why is he in so many theories? For a guy from the past I have a hard time understanding what he has to do with one pieces future, especially since it’s well established that his reign and power are past. Why do the theorists love rocks d xebec?
he is a mystery, managed to have some of the most notorious and well known pirates under his flag and wanted to be king of the world or something like that, he is just a very interesting figure to think about
He was the strongest man to have faced the pirate king
One Piece Fandom has learned to take the tiny bits which are offered and to make theories based on them. Some people over and underestimate things. Thats just the person Oda is. She only leaks a little information on characters, and other mysteries and build up on to them with the years
In this case the known facts about Xebec are:
+He lead a crew that was seen more as a terrorism gang than a pirate crew due to their extraordinary violent behaviour and a lot of "ego"-people which would later on become famous powerhouses on their own. Him being a captain in that kind of gang is extraordinary.
+It is confirmed that it took Garp and Roger, two of the strongest beings in the one piece verse to take him down.
+His ambition is to become the worlds king, not the pirate king. This is a possible relation to Imu Sama, a "hidden" monarch of the world.
- The mystery of God Valley and just what happened there which made the Government erase all information known about its existence is smth that can be related to a lot thing. Like mentioned Imu sama, possibly shanks, buggy and Blackbeard and others
- The D. in his name kind of is enough to make him interesting
- Blackbeards relation to xebec is interesting to people too.
- Xebec was confirmed to be rogers strongest archenemy. which is crazy
To me that it information enough to get hyped up for a character. The hype around him is possible due to odas world building as Xebec kind of is a link between everything oda has built up till this day. Thats why he already works as a character that is liked by people
there is a theory that 3 souls live in BB and one of them might be Xebec, thats why he doesnt sleep
Only issue with that is, Luffy looks a lot like Garp when he gets older
Yeah I think Garp is a key piece w god valley. Something up, idk why he would defend the CDs there
I still think we should try to consider what exactly god valley was, like why was it important as a location and why were the CDs there. I’ve seen some speculation that it was the home of the remaining lunarians, which makes some sense but that makes things even more confusing
I honestly think that there might be a lot more still to CoC haki that we didn't explore. What can hint it is that in order to defeat Xebec they needed basically all the marines with their strongest - Garp as well as Roger's crew. I know that he had monsters on his crew but to hint a man so powerful, he had basically control over those monsters is just crazy to think about. Maybe Haoshoku can be trained which Xebec new how to do and he made it so powerful all those monsters were afraid and needed to battle couple of Conquerors users at the same time to be brought to his knees? And just maybe, seeing how Whitebeard has different kind of mentality from others from his original crew, he was the one to betray Rocks in the end building his friend/foe connection with Roger? Deep stuff if you think about it...
Hmm yeah that’s possible. I still am in the camp that rocks might not have had bad goals? Idk the whole story just sounds fishy, plus it was sengoku who told us it
Also, yeah rocks did have lots of the future emperors who were pretty brutal, but in the beginning they all seemed to have more noble goals. Idk if they necessarily would be all hellbent on destruction, even like BM and Kaido
I think its more likely we end up learning Xebec was an anti-hero rather than a villain
I'm more into the idea he really did had crazy knowledge which he was connecting with crazy ambitions. Unlike Doffy threatening with his knowledge the nobles, he probably was a man to know how to use it for more than invincibility.
Yes I think he definitely had some inside knowledge
Whitebeard though seemed to have more noble cause as portrayed by BM taking soul payments from her recidents and overall being more of a kind heart person. That's why I think he could betray Rocks.
I still think that one of the best explanations for void century was that the WG were all originally pirates who banned together to take control and overthrow joyboy, the original pirate king. That’s why they can’t let the history out, because then the world would know that the CDs aren’t holy or anything and were just pirates in the beginning.
And Kaido is.... well, Kaido :D. Pure manpower and messed up point of view on life by what was happening in Vodka kingdom.
Did film red spawn new theories about shanks? I am especially fond of the theory that he is the king of the underworld which was also discussed in here.
I haven’t seen film red but that’s def an interesting theory. Part of the backing is because he doesn’t have hardly any territorial holdings right?
Red is unfortunately not running in the country I live in... sad 😦
I think part of it was that people refer to him as „boss“ the other one was that he is being portrayed as pulling the threads behind the curtain. Like preventing kaido going to marineford, meeting with gorosei etc.
Going off this, I wonder if perhaps he knew some secret w how to harm the CDs/ Imu in ways others didn’t.
I’m guessing the CDs/Gorosei/Imu are immortal. Aside from not seeing signs of aging amoung the CDs/ gorosei, Big reason is doffy. What’s he obsessed w? Immortality. But the WG/CDs seem not to care about the Op Op fruit, which doesn’t make sense. Wouldn’t they want that as one of the ultimate things? Seems to me they already have eternal life then. Maybe Rocks knew a secret on how to actually kill the CDs
For me looking how Oda is building the characters is sometimes more simple than we think. Although Shanks could find ways to travel using deep water currents. That would really be awesome. I can see more him being killed by Black Beard possessing Xebec knowledge to extend the power of haki. This guy is hunting fruit users and preparing, but you don't actually see him extending power on other islands and conquering or doing anything. I think he wants to find something more than devil fruits.
And there might be a possibility of him being an archeologist from Ohara. I mean... he's at least 12 years older from Robin. Maybe he escaped with the same kinds of knowledge.
We've never learnt where he was born, only that he was found by Whitebeard and left with him.
Shanks using deep water currents would be cool, that could explain why his crew doesn’t use DFs
It's possible, but even more possible is that WG can't focus on it fully seeing the anarchy which is caused by new era and seeing that the user is a powerful pirate using a submarine to move. Locating him is probably really problematic.
I’m thinking more about about before he ate the fruit, it didn’t seem like the world government or cp0 was even in play to find it
Well damn, that's right. Still, you have to probably have a little bit more in you to use this power and in the end you die. Maybe only Gorosei and Imu were given immortality knowing that it costs a strong person's life to use it?
It’s also very plausible that if they somehow had control / knowledge of where the op op fruit respawned (possibly during the void century) , CDs/Imu/gorosei could have just forced slaves to eat the op op fruit and perform the immortality surgery one after another
In this case, probably one escaped.
All in all the big question I think still is - what was at god valley
I think we will learn it soon enough. Maybe even from Shanks or Black Beard when Luffy clashes with him. Showing more of his backstory wouldn't be really interesting as he was basically dude laying low through whole his life after joining WB. I think what he knows himself is really the key. I mean dude named his ship 'Sabre of Xebec' after they censored the whole incident. He has to know something.
Yeah he does have to know something, hmm
Now that I think about it Cross Guild has quite a bit in common with the Rocks Pirates ; they're, in their own way, in an open war against the Navy, while pirates typically mind their own business and only fight the Navy when the need (or the opportunity) arises. Attacking the World Government openly is something Rocks was notorious for.
Add to that the fact that Cross Guild looks like an association of pirates more than a crew, something that was also true about the Rocks Pirates.
With this likely being the last real chance for breathing room I feel the next arc will be a comedy focused arc that is short. The Straw Hats Vs Cross Guild. It leaves room to do Zoro Vs Mihawk BUT also lets Oda do something silly. Luffy and Nami tag team Buggy again in a silly sort of battle that limits Luffy from just one shotting him?
No way is Zoro fighting Mihawk before the climax of the series, much less in "a comedy arc."
We are entering the final saga and I mean by comedy that only Zoro vs Mihawk needs to be a major serious focus. It allows Oda to give the crew stuff to do and have fun while also not doing a really long arc with a ton going on. They all get joke fights besides him
bro anyone got film red?
It’s barely out so there’s probably not even cam rips yet. You’ll find a link in the film red channel when something comes out
