I think the paper kind of look is a nice touch is all lol

I call this the The Aftermath of Marineford

He's covered in bandages- head to toe
But what’s more broken is inside, this we know
..all that's happened since Shabondy archipelago
Eyes tearing, the storm-clouds brew
and though he's beaten black and blue,
the deep-seated pain that's grew,
when his fears became the truth,
left without Ace or his crew
..and all the rest that had ensued:
---How their adventures went askew,
----Blackbeards arrival with his crew,
----From the war how they withdrew,
----Promises his brother couldn't follow through,
---And his last words, how deep they cut into
So much his eyes you can't look into
too seeped in grief, you won't get through
fading all else from his view.

As the tides of the age leave the world pondering,
he awakens to haunted memories inside torturing.
Walls crumbling, storm- clouds thundering,
with anguish in his soul rampant plundering,
his indomitable will finally smothering.
And, as he falls down on his knees giving
hair-raising howls of a heart that's bleeding,
world-shattering news of the events transpired,
reaches each Strawhat from the news acquired.
Reigniting into each the fire-
whose embers will one day aspire
to reach the heights they so long desired.

Loss of a loved one, a tremendous pressure
How could one even begin to measure?
"What pirate king? I'm too weak!" he cries
Tears streaming down both his eyes.
The forged allies, the desperate tries
All those times he could have died.
With all heed to sense and advice ignored
Pleading, snuck-in through a warlord
Level 6 Impel Down to Marineford
Every strain and stress ignored

Have you seen insanity in actuality?
That one-sided tunnel vision mentality?
Forcing down hormones for false vitality-
Ignoring each and every self-fatality
Temporary life-shortening unstrains,
all for naught purpose and gain.
When he can't even save a single person,
how could he ever have dreamed he was good enough?
ENOUGH!
"WHAT IS LEFT?! Screaming he forcibly restraints
reminding him of his friends who yet remain,
the belief in their captain they all maintain.

..while his first-mate trains himself to death
He won't stop even to catch his breath
Reaching unprecedented levels of unbridled pain
But no he's still-still not enough disciplined
For when a man of immense pride,
bows down his head to get a guide,
though we know he'd rather die
than let his ambitions slide,
its because of having clearly realized
the engulfing distance, the great divide
between them and all the oncoming tides.
And even if alone he tried, he cannot gain,
the level of strength he needs to attain
to never let them be this helpless again.
So training day and night, its not enough
Still-still not good enough
For their captain, idiotic though he may be,
they'd go anywhere if he were to lead
Always there in their time of need
But now they can only train left unseen.

He lets them know two more years- wait to depart
To conquer the New World, his training now starts.
No longer that young carefree upstart
of simpler carefree days now long past.
And their own training each Strawhat starts,
leaving in dust all their tears
a resolve grimmer than yesterdays fears.
Just strong enough to get him near.
Strong enough to get him there.
To them for some time its been so clear
Whatever the future must bear and bring
Their captain will be the Pirate King
