I dont expect perfection or to make money, I just want to do it over the Christmas break as something fun, I dont know what mods to use or how to set them up, all I know is I want it to be paper so I can run it of my extra computer, any help is appreciated

You can’t use mods with paper, as you can’t use plugins with fabric/forge

it depends on what type of server you want, is it just a simple one for you and your friends? what commands do you want on the server?

i’d like to recommend KasaiSora on YT as he as extremely simple tutorials on how to set up a minecraft server, how to set up and use different specific plugins, difference between server types etc so is a great resource for those trying to get into server administration
