placeholder issues

I cannot get the %player_name% placeholder to work. i assigned the store to a npc right click command, and it uses the -p tag and it set to player. the items I am trying to use the placeholders are shopprocedural and shopsell. thanks for the help

Player placeholder not working? If you are using a plugin which supports PlaceholderAPI, and the %player% placeholder doesn't work, then change it to %player_name% and download the player expansion.
Commands:
/papi ecloud download player
/papi reload
