Replacing DeluxeTags with DeluxeMenus?

hey im kinda confused by deluxetags, i havent used this in a while so forgive my ignorance

is it a standalone tag plugin?

if i use deluxemenus with dummy permission nodes and use luckperms to set user prefix, cant I do the same thing as deluxetags?

or having dmenus run dtags commands instead of luckperms

the only benefit is that it takes a bit less time to set up. but with LuckPerms you can have as many prefixes as you want using the Meta feature

you don't have to use prefix

So if you know how and you have the time, using DeluxeMenus + LP can definitely give better results
