How do I prevent an integer type of meta from going into the negatives, I also have the %deluxemenus_meta_<key>_<dataType>_[default_value]% placeholder, any way I can get it to update? tried with the [refresh] action

I assume you're using the subtract action. The only way to prevent it from going into negatives is using requirements to check what the new value would be.
