"I'm working on a Minecraft server and I want to create a dynamic in-game shop.

Here's the main idea:

  • Currency is items, not money: Players will pay for items using other valuable Minecraft items (like Diamonds, Emeralds, Netherite, Gold Ingots, etc.) directly from their inventory. They won't use an economy plugin's money system.
  • Time-based inventory: The items available for purchase in the shop will change automatically based on the server's in-game time of day. So, certain items will only appear during the day, and different ones will appear at night.
