Maybe use a different placeholder? Check out plugins like: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/interactivechat-show-items-inventory-in-chat-custom-chat-keywords-bungee-velocity-support.75870/
it still dont work
use CommandPrompter https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/commandprompter.47772/
is it the player delegate feature ?
that works as well
I was thinking about the normal chat input
but you can use the player UI as well
oh actually player delegate is something else, it is useable as well but not required with DeluxeMenus, you can just use <Insert Text here> and it'll work
ok so i use player ui ?
you can yes
is any other player online?
no
then that's normal
oh ok
there's no other player to select
so if now it will do the player name instead of <player> ?
kk
left_click_commands:
- '[console] say hi <player> [player]'
(idk how to transform it)
did you install the CommandPrompter plugin?
yes
send your menu file
is CommandPrompter showing in /plugins ?
ye
no idea what's wrong then
mb wrong version
what's your MC version?
1.21
I don't know what's wrong
idk
my deluxe menu is 1.14-1
you could try to use [console] consoledelegate %player_name% say <player>
nop
If even that doesn't work, then it must be something on CommandPrompter's side. try reaching out to CommandPrompter's support
