Scoreboard Placeholder within a Math expression

Is there a syntax setup I'm missing to try and use an objective score in a math expression:

%math_{objective_score{OBJECTIVETITLE}_{Timer}}/20%
Documentation says {placeholder} should work inside, but it doesn't seem to take it.
