It was going to look like the 2nd pic but didnt?

It should work the same inside DeluxeMenus

#

and then for items, you add model_data: YOUR_MODEL_NUMBER

cloud sail
#

example:

material: paper
model_data: 12
#

Each custom texture must have a model data/number specified somewhere within the resource pack. you need to find it and replace 12 with whatever it is

peak hollow
#

well my modeldata is 6000

cloud sail
#

well, then

material: paper
model_data: 6000

Put your entire menu inside a paste bin and send it here. Also, are you making the resource pack yourself or are you using an already made resource pack? Or maybe you're using a plugin like ItemsAdder or Oraxen?

cloud sail
#

Well, then you don't even have to use material: paper or model_data.

#

DeluxeMenus supports oraxen

material: oraxen-ORAXEN-ITEM-ID

#

you can just do this

peak hollow
#

still the same error

cloud sail
#

can you please use https://paste.helpch.at and put the menu in there? Using /paste breaks all formating and it is pretty hard to see what the problem is.

HelpChat Paste - How To Use

cloud sail
#

You can see the How To Use button

peak hollow
#

Didn’t I to that above?

cloud sail
#

You have to do it manually

peak hollow
#

Oh

#

Idk what is wrong with it

#

@cloud sail

cloud sail
#

If that doesn't work, then you probably are using the wrong material id

#

you need to find the material id/name that is set inside Oraxen

#

Also, make sure you're on DeluxeMenus version 1.14.0

cloud sail
#

That means the name ORAXEN-rtp is not valid

#

I'm not 100% sure how oraxen works but each item should have a custom name somewhere

peak hollow
cloud sail
#

if not, I suggest you update

peak hollow
cloud sail
#

I think you can do /dm version

#

and it should tell you the version

peak hollow
#

Maybe if we try with the custom model data again or?

cloud sail
#

Hmm. We could, the problem is that I believe custom model data is dynamic in Oraxen so it might break at some point.

peak hollow
cloud sail
#

oh. nice

peak hollow
#

still not this tho

Editing the texture itself in whatever you did it in.

#

Photoshop/Aseprite work best imo.

peak hollow
#

oh yeah

#

i use gimp

true iron
#

Oh

#

Ok

#

Umm, did u double check in the texture pack the textures are mapped to whatever item you’re using? Ie paper?

peak hollow
#

I’m using Oraxen and yes

#

I’m just restarting to see if it helped that I changed it to an actual slot

true iron
#

Okay

#

Not fully sure how Oraxen works, but that was one thing I noticed when reading through the thread

#

But probably something with items not being remapped properly

peak hollow
#

Yeah, I asked a dev in the Oraxen server

#

Also changing up the slots didn’t do anything, but it’s good to have it like that so it works when it works yk

true iron
#

Yep

#

Did it update in the GUI?

peak hollow
true iron
#

No I mean the texture

#

Of the overall gui

peak hollow
true iron
#

Have you even gotten that to work? If so maybe not a DM issue. Maybe it’s how you configured Oraxen

peak hollow
#

now i have this error again

#

now stone

true iron
#

Send your config again in DM

peak hollow
#

Config of the GUI?

true iron
#

Yeah

peak hollow
true iron
#

You have Oraxen twice

#

In the material

peak hollow
#

i got told if i make a gylph in oraxen and the gylph in the title it will work but i get this error

#

@cloud sail

#

now i have no errors wth

#

it works when i paste the glyph in chat

#

but not when i apply it to the title

#

uhm its a start, but i need to fix the overlapping

true iron
#

How many lines was the initial gui you made @peak hollow?

#

Like 3? 4?

peak hollow
#

im fixing something, just cutting out the bottom part

#

but how do i remove the stone block?

true iron
#

Wait

#

You didn’t do the 3 slots as actual items?

#

You did it in the GUI texture?

peak hollow
true iron
#

Remove them

#

And made them as actual items

peak hollow
#

not blocks

true iron
#

Gonna look weird then but you do you

#

But it’s possible todo it as pixel art

peak hollow
true iron
#

Using a mix of BlockBench and manipulation of the tpack

#

Bc if you do it in block bench, you can make it so if it’s in a GUI you can make it 2d.

peak hollow
#

how do i do this?

true iron
#

It’s an odd way todo it and if you’re new to resource packs it’s gonna be hard to do it. As you need to structure your tpack, etc etc.

peak hollow
#

i have blockbench already

#

i already make custom 3d models ther

true iron
#

But yeah, you can design it to be a 2d model and have it so when it’s in a gui it’s 2d via bb

#

And have it replace paper

#

And then put it in the gui

peak hollow
#

i swear ive seen an easier method on youtube

true iron
#

Probably

#

Also designing stuff in MCHub I’m realizing is a lot easier than doing stuff through public plugins

peak hollow
#

how can i resize my inventory to be 4 rows

true iron
#

The texture? Or the actual menu?

peak hollow
#

everything works now
