What chat plugin are you using? Can you also provide the following information?:
- deluxetags config
- chat plugin config
- screenshot of a message you sent in chat while the tags were not working

in your deluxetags config, change papi_chat: true to papi_chat: false and restart the server.
that should fix your issue
