hmm if you aren't using any chat plugins i think you can do this

If you choose to use this plugin without DeluxeChat, you must set deluxe_chat: false in the config for DeluxeTags to register the vanilla chat listener!

hmmm youd either have to find somewhere, where you can put a placeholder in the vanilla chat
or use a chat plugin
