DeluxeMenus not sending placeholder to crazycrates

Hello, I am using DeluxeMenus to make a rankup menu, when someone ranks up it takes money and then gives them the next rank + a reward. For some ranks i have it so deluxemenus gives a key. The command to give a key is /cc give 1 p type USERNAME, so where username is I put %player_name%, but when someone ranks up they do not get the key. All other give commands work. talked to the crazycrates devs and they said itr was a deluxemenu error

Player placeholder not working? If you are using a plugin which supports PlaceholderAPI, and the %player% placeholder doesn't work, then change it to %player_name% and download the player expansion.
Commands:
/papi ecloud download player
/papi reload
