Problem with deluxemenu

hello i have mistake in 1.12.2 server when i have colors in config but in game one of the (not all) head there are purple color with &8 text, how to fix it ? (can't sent imagE)

Umm. Why are you using DeluxeMenus 1.10.5 on 1.12.2?

that's the problem. DeluxeMenus 1.10.5 didn't support &<code> colors. Only §<code>

Possible Solution Found:

The plugin (or program) you are trying to use was compiled using a newer Java version than the one you using.
To find what version you need, start from 52 which is Java 8 and for example, 60 is Java 16. (8 + 8 = 16 => 52 + 8 = 60)

Barry's solution finder is still in BETA and will make mistakes.

I'm not sure but might be because latest version of deluxemenus only supports java 11 and higher

can you update to the latest, restart your server and send a full fresh startup log?

well, paper 1.12.2 should support java 11

so you can either try and upgrade your java version to 11

Or you can try to use the latest DeluxeMenus release that was still supporting java 8

which I believe was DeluxeMenus 1.13.3

but that means you're losing a bunch of features, bug fixes and other stuff. so I definitely recommend you try the other option first

I don't see why you can't just make it latest version tho? And if you want players from other versions to join just use ViaBackwards
