Hey, I'm using StaffFacilities on a BungeeCord network, and I have a /hub GUI that shows the player count on each server. It uses %bungee_<server name>% placeholder from PlaceholderAPI. But whenever I do /v, it doesn't -1 from bungee_<server name>%. Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?

We have noticed on our 1.18.2 server that placeholder-api is no longer recognizing the placeholder %player_name%

We are trying to use it as a placeholder in a deluxemenu option

• updated placeholder api, deluxemenus to the latest versions
• we've tried using the {papi: player_name} version
• deleted the expansions as recommended

The only time it recognizes %player_name% is if we force download, and then it breaks again when the server restarts.

we only deleted the affected expansion. We actually needed to delete all expansions and return them one by one until we found which was causing papi to freak out.

Possible Solution Found:

This error occurs when there is a mismatch in versions between the expansion and luckperms itself,
Make sure you have the very latest LuckPerms and the latest LuckPerms Expansion
Once installed restart your server.

I'm trying to create a Discord bridge plugin, and I want the configuration to use PAPI.

I can't find a way to pass a custom variable. Is this possible? There is an expansion API, but I want to add a %message% expansion, which requires additional context other than the player. There's no way to pass custom parameters to setPlaceholders, neither are there any arguments for custom parameters in the onPlaceholderRequest method. I already tried asking on the Spigot forums, but I feel on this server you'll be more knowledgable about this API specifically.

Yeah, It's either PAPI, JobsReborn or Interactions.

When I do papi parse I get the expected result, but when using the jobs reborn placeholder in the interactions plugin. it doesn't work as expected.

Placeholder that would display the level of set potion type that player has applied? For example if I have strength potion of level 3 the placeholder would be smth like: %player_potionlevel_strength% and it would display a number 3 (for as long as the player has the effect)
Placeholder that would display the amount of set attribute on the item that's player currently holding? Example: Player holds a sword with attribute attack_damage in it, its amount is 10. Seems to be a problem with the Javascript expansion. If your server runs on java 11 or newer, update the expansion

The plugin (or program) you are trying to use was compiled using a newer Java version than the one you using.
To find what version you need, start from 52 which is Java 8 and for example, 60 is Java 16. (8 + 8 = 16 => 52 + 8 = 60)
