SQL injection vulnerability allowing users to get full databases
Including badly encrypted passwords, in md5
It was my fault for badly keeping track of the sites structure and inconsistent way of doing things. As well as the system being written in 2016 where I had little knowledge of PHP and PDO or website security.
Later discovered the issue and checked access logs for that location over time. Luckily never accessed maliciously.
When these things happen they help us learn a valuable lesson.
