I am having trouble with my server not being public meaning when i type localhost as my ip it connects then when i use my public ip address it instantly denies it. I have portforwarded the port 25565 through my router interface and made sure the port is the same in the server.properties file and made sure the ip line was empty

well i host mysql on my vps but i can't connect outside localhost i even followed every tutorial with binding 0.0.0.0 and # infront and granting privileges and flushing priveleges everything
