The problem is that most of the users on support discords here and for other plugins are not just toxic they want everything now and only now if someone does not reply or know how to fix they are stupid they don't offer support etc i mean if you want something to finish and don't know how to work with that you have to expect the delay or atleast post as a PAID service maybe it will be finished faster

I'm looking for someone to join my team as I develop a minecraft network consisting of towny, and skyblock. Towny is pretty much 99.99% done, I just need to do a few more finishing touches. Everything on the server thus far is done profressionally. I've been into minecraft server development for about 4 years now, and I know what I'm doing. If you don't even know where to start.... you're pushing too fast by asking here. I would suggest a couple things:

Research some different hosts for MC, see what their prices are for the server they offer
Search around other servers, find plugins you like, I'll suggest Essentials, since lots of servers have that.
Maybe work with a friend to compile a list of those plugins and figure out how you will use them on your server

So there you have a start at least and aren't going to hurt yourself by jumping in head first too quickly.

Well every forum and advice is simple but yet complicated:

Be original
Invest in server configuration/staff/promotion
Voting is a great addon for getting more players
Pay some youtuber to promote your server
Do not turn off server after first month some servers need time to take off (I had server 6 months and it took of after 4th or 5th month ) i mean it is a long run but you never know
Listen to players and their ideas and feedback
Fix as much bugs as possible
Have mature staff
Have something addicting, for example some servers can keep me on their server if it is something competitive or something i need to upgrade collect etc but not like 10 days for a golden apple or etc
