The problem is that sorttable doesn't realise that that column contains dates, because it doesn't know how to read dates in "English" format. So, we need to help it a little by giving it a date in "computer readable" format. So you can change

so the way your table looks will not change, but sorttable will now use the machine-readable date (in YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM format) to sort by, and then everything works.
