Well you could always make the situation worse by selling the ranks at a super discount price in order to make as much money as you can before your server "has to shut down" because you can't find the money to pay for all the "necessary" advertising and web development and plugin development.

Not sure how Skyblock is going to do if we can't offer perks like /fly. But a majority of them are cosmetic, which is good.

Back when i was 12 and wanted to back a server, my Dad would only let me pay for a host if I paid for it, i didn't have the money - so some friends give some money and I gave them perks on the server. People think that the EULA will just reduce the amount of profit server owners make, but it also has an impact on how they can afford the server.

Everyone needs to stop complaining it's getting old. In other news though.. it appears as if minecove isn't even fully EULA compliant. They have a server powerups that do not effect the whole server (MC has acknoledged that bungee and all the connected servers are one) and they call their products donations.

I finally updated SkyWarsReloaded, also added features like: lobby void tp to spawn, compass tracker, 1.9 support, placeholders (an expansion I made with the help of L33t and Spectrum), fixed glitches like spectators teleporting to other games, removed spec shop and spectator items (gonna re add them when I find how to use items in spectator gamemode, if sb interested)

Sorry, just scanning through the EULA stuff from a couple of days ago. @golden siren said that you can work around the EULA by allowing players to purchase ranks/perks using in game money. For example, sell /fly for $5 to an individual from your Buycraft store, and sell it in game for, idk $1M.. Is this EULA compliant? It was of my understanding that even this is not EULA compliant.

likely would need to do one for each rank, I could set up one for all ranks but you would need a separate file and it would be quite a bit of work

I'm going to sell a kit booster on my store where everyone online gets access to the kit for 12 hours. I can either sell a fixed kit (so they get access to the kit they paid for) or I can sell access to a random kit. Which one is better?

You have to look at it through the player who is donating

Hence random will be better in most cases.

Renting wouldn't be very cost effective compared to buying the slot. You could make quite a bit of cash buying a slot and renting it out but that can be a bit dodgy in the case of chargebacks etc.
