#Camera quality changes while on shared screen

I'm not sure why its doing this but while playing on another screen that is the shared window my camera view changes to a brighter contrast and the green screen becomes more visible. My preference is to keep the same fidelity regardless of which screen is active.

Any chance your lighting environment changes along with the screen being used? For example, a bright screen like Google Calendar in front of your face would make you appear more well-lit. If you're switching to a game with very dark ambience, there's much less light on your face.

Not sure if that's what your setup is like or if you have any other lighting in place - just checking cause it's something I've otherwise noticed 🙂

If that were the case, it would be darker than lighter as the game is inherently dark. I've got a four monitor setup and a ring light to keep it as consistent as possible.

The screen shot on the left is what happens when I'm on the active screen/window I'm playing in. The screenshot on the right is when I'm mousing through the 3 other monitors.

Got you, thanks so much for clarifying. I'm sadly not aware of a Restream Studio-specific behavior that would cause this but I do wonder whether this is related to how your browser interacts with your camera at different points in time.

Would it be possible for you to check if you're noticing something similar with another browser-based service? For example, if you're on camera in Google Meet or any similar video/screen-sharing environment, are you able to reproduce this issue?

I'll try this over the weekend - the game window I'm playing in was Fullscreen also, not sure how that plays into the troubleshooting, but I'll put it into a Windowless Fullscreen mode next time to test as well.
