The main AI base (Alpha Research Station) seems to be almost permanently out of sync.
When you first fly into Infernal Tempest, it appears centred on top of the sun (and appears so distance-wise on the side bar as well).
When you try to dock there, it will resync to where it currently is. However, this desync persists (as the station orbits around the sun) and will only update visually when you try to dock.
