The 'Anti-cheat' system or whatever it is where occasionally the game will decide that your warper was invalid, and just revert you back to your original position, is incredibly annoying. Especially in content like Matriarch where mobility is key and if you warpered, you probably REALLY didn't want to be back in your original position.

Yeah it sucks, if you dont thrust during and immediately after you dont get rubberbnded.

I've been asking for it to get fixed for years...

It's a pretty foundational problem with the client.

#

As Hober said, best way to avoid is to not to thrust

#

And is a known issue

yeah 'Don't thrust in content where you have to dodge a lot' is a pretty terrible bit of advice.

#

As is MAKING dodge heavy content wherne you basically are asked to warper frqeurntly, when warpers not working correctly is a known issue.

#

I mean I like new content, I like active play new content. But building things that the client / game is known not to be able to handle well, and then releasing them anyways and telling the playerbase 'It's a well known problem, should be expected to be an issue', is both a time-honored SS tradition, and something that feels very bad from a player perspective.

Examples also include: Last stand trans efficiency tweaks.

#

(Setting aside whether it's a good balance idea for them to even exist once fixed, releasing them when it's known the healing code is borked so they dont work...)

Or the entire Engi rework with lack of drone mobilization stuff.
