I must say that having Motion Aim on Doom 2016 Switch (at 20%) feels a lot better than the normal aim assist. It's like manual aim assist, as weird as that sounds. Just being able to easily pinpoint what to hit is really nice, especially if you're using JoyCons or Switch Lite (assuming it has gyroscope support).

On Nightmare I think the first few levels are harder than Eternal’s. Late game is much easier though. Even without the cheese you can obliterate any demon with simple weapon combos and quick swapping.

i thought of buying doom(2016), so i downloaded the demo in steam. Aftrer i played it i looked in the options and found the (i think, idont really remember) the render engine options. i setted it from the default one to vulkan. it had to restart. It closed and nothing happend so i started it manually. Then i realized that it just restarted and then it crashed. every time i try to open it it crashes. i reinstalled it and it still didnt work. Quick swapping is really effective as well. Cycle through your arsenal to output high amounts of damage and use weapon combos to take out the heavier enemies.
Learning enemy spawns and weaknesses helps too.

Bfg can cheese some of the encounters too well, too easily so the ammo limit is only good. Id say its too generous tho.
I dunno, for how often it gives you the ammo I wouldnt be sure about that. Pretty much any tough arena houses one or two after you get it.

Yeah. The Boss is a little too repetitive so adding another phase to the fight would have been interesting. Though I don’t think giving the player demons to fight at the same time would be a good idea since the arena is so bare and open.
Knowing how annoying Imps are in this game, it’d probably be pretty easy to get sniped by one from across the arena

Phase one the mastermind is ready to fight, violent, fast and aggressive. Climbs on the ceiling, lots of health, attacks mainly with projectiles and lasers.
Phase two the spider is still angry and still fighting. The pillars come into play here, they were a good gimmick. Lotta health here too.
Phase three the spider is tired, sends in Barons of Hell to kill you (5-9 rng) and when you kill them you can attack her. Half her health is gone, she sends more Barons with Mancubi and Cacos, you kill them and voilà you can finish the phase. Throughout the entire thing there are some fodder demons for you to chainsaw if you're low.
Last phase she's heavily injured and it's like the last miniphase of the normal fight. You kill her with the BFG shot to the mouth like in the game. Maybe she sends lost souls on you once in a while.
The last phase is like a pity phase because it makes sense logically

Hm, yeah I would be down for a fight like that. Demon waves might feel a bit out of place for the SMM (along with the other 2016 Bosses) but it’s still a neat concept that could probably work with the right execution.

Keep moving. Weapon switch frequently. Don’t play this like your average shooter, be aggressive (though not overly aggressive). The first few levels drag a bit but by the time you get to Hell, it really gets good. Imo.
