I'm not super peeved that they got rid of the trials but I did enjoy them.

I didnt think it was to easy on nightmare. That felt just right. I'll have to replay ruins but some of them were a good time. Maybe some ruins are broken but the concept of upgrading is neat... maybe another type of mini game would have been better.

Open the weapon wheel and then press the equipment/ Weapon mod button (It’s one of those two). That should switch your weapon slot to the BFG.

@vagrant fox There are several armor pickups in the Necropolis starting area. You can grab it there then restart the level. Alternatively there is also a Heavy Armor at the beginning of Kandigir Sanctum, tho that one will require a bit more walking.

are you joking? Khan had to feed her world, she had a real proper reason to invade, she knew she was powerless to stop the Slayer, she saw the futures after all. She needed to stop Samuel, their betrayer, so she can regain the Father, the original source of their energy, before it were the argent. She has so much shit around her, and the crazy thing is DG actually left her the Vega because it belonged to them. Khan still wanted to stop Hayden and regain Crucible, which she failed to do, but risked herself for.
Marauder wasnt a real boss, Gladiator wasnt a bad boss at all. I really enjoyed the Khan. And if you find Icon of Sin forgettable, then tf is wrong with you

If you also paid attention you noticed unmaykr on the Fortress ship. Who else would develop that thing other than Hayden. Makes sense thats how Samur escaped, in that case, this is the most likely place Slayer got ported to. We know conflict were 10 years already or so (since 2151). The battle was already on for quite some time. After all we already know he had to kill the first guardian before start.

Random question guys. Playing Doom 2016, got to lvl 6 and picked up a field drone that would only let me select between the 2 shotgun mods (which I already had both) for some reason, so basically it utilized the drone and didn't give me a mod. If I want to get the IDKFA trophy do I have to get all the masteries on the same playthrough or when I'm done can I just start up a new game and get the 1 mod/mastery done that I didn't get?

Both UV respectively. But you CAN make it harder for yourself. Nightmare is pretty much harder in 2016. Atleast in the first few levels. But idrc. I like both equally.

I wouldnt say unfair. Imps have just that mega fireball damage that hurt VERY much. Especially with the Starting health. Im no expert regarding Nightmare tho. I just know i had more Trouble at the beginning of D2016 than the beginning of Eternal.

I’m going to agree that 2016’s Nightmare has some crummy ways in killing the player. Mainly from glory kills. Since that’s one of your only sources of health, you’re sometimes forced to perform one if you want to live. Unfortunately enemies can camp behind you and wait to attack once that animation is finished. This happens in Eternal as well but you have a lot more ways to evade instant KOs after glory killing in that game.
That’s the only time I found 2016’s Nightmare “unfair”. When glory killing led to an unavoidable death.

So, for Doom 2016, if you have multiple people is there a way to farm any of the triumphs in multiplayer? (PS4). Mainly getting to lvl 44 for all the runes. I saw a video that seemed pretty good but was from 2017, not sure if it's still viable. From what I've seen update 6.66 changed everything up as far as getting the trophies and such.

Does anyone have some tips for Ultra Nightmare?
I barely can even get past the 1st stage, i kinda do my best to move everywhere to not get hit, trying as well to not move in a single direction but i always end up being sniped by an imp or a soldier.

I finally got some actual progress on Ultra Nightmare lol, i got to the foundry but i'll probably practice in nightmare before giving it a shot in ultra nightmare, mainly cause of the hell knights.

Doing full secrets/ early weapons adds tons of time to the overall early levels. But the sooner you get weapon/ mod combos and upgrades, the better

Coming back to doom after learning how to quick switch in doom eternal really changed the game

@noble moat wonder if that may have been intentional. Give a shit long range weapon and a decent close range. And its obvious what im gonna go for. If it was absent maybe we would play it more safely and further from the danger.

I mainly use ranged or spectre because of my ping

Orbital just has a lot of jumps and you don't want to risk them as spectre, the campaign shouldn't take you too long for 2016, at least on UV or lower

@elder meadow depends on what you count as perfection. Perfecting everything can take hundreds of hours. Perfecting playstyle up to 100 you could get close.
