Doom Eternal for me but it's more a dark souls experience then 2016. 2016 was more a regular adventure for me, less stress and imo better level design when talking about finding collectibles and the environments a way more realistic and could actually be true.

I dunno. Ammo was almost too much in 2016, along with the Chainsaw being a bit overpowered.
I never ran out of ammo. Never really needed to use the Chainsaw. I like that Eternal pushes you to use all of your equipment

My doom 2016 isn't working.
The sound is broken. I've tried reinstalling, updating my gpu drivers, restarting my computer, verifying the cache. I have bluetooth headphones. Whenever I go into Doom, the sound on my whole computer stops working. When I exit out of Doom everything starts working again. Also, even though I have my settings on Ultra, the graphics look like low. All these problems came in one day. Doom was working perfectly before. I've tried posting to the Doom subreddit but no one suggested anything. I'm not sure what to do. My computer can easily run Doom.

Well that’s how the game’s supposed to be, D2016 is unforgiving. Imagine if it had a save system, people would constantly save, there would be no urgency, at least that’s how I see it.

It’s an improvement on the gameplay and environment, the tone/atmosphere is no where near as amazing as 2016’s though.
Eternal also restricts your gameplay freedom due to resource management, once you master the combat you can get around it, but yeah.
It kind of is, still a great game but definitely isn’t for everyone.

Like in Destroyed Resource Complex or whatever it’s called, those two Barons spawn after you push the elevator button after you fought off a huge horde and if you die you gotta do the whole fight all over again. A damn long one too. Plus the game bugged out once and I had to start the level over due to it.

I've been digging through Closed Alpha's files and it looks like id planned to show three levels at E3 2015: both levels from QuakeCon 2014, Foundry and Surface (Argent Facility), and Hell (Kadingir Sanctum), they ended up scrapping Surface
also, it appears that E3 Hell demo was supposed to use Rip & Tear music track but, for some reason, they ditched it and re-used music from QuakeCon Suface demo instead

Just keep moving constantly and in unpredictable patterns, Imps can two shot you with their charged fireballs easy. Also acquire the Armor Offensive rune and Rich get Richer, those are op together.

Snapmap is very buggy, sometimes you have to delete and recreate the encounter in a different spot, sometimes you have to move around the arena for it to spawn. Not sure why but it works
