Maybe changed a bit to fit with eternal.
The idea was doom 4 was going to be at the start of hell on earth. So keep it at that. Maybe at the end of the dlc you die just as you see the slayer jump in to kill demons

No Runes
Set Difficulty to Nightmare.

And if your wondering, Yes, you can use the Gauss Cannon, but stick with all the rules about weapon mods!

it varies, the peak times are all over the place. Max level players kind of dominate and drive some players away

I once heard an interesting theory that Doomguy and Doom Slayer are one in the same, after Doom 64 Doomguy stayed in hell and gained the reputation as the Slayer while also becoming the leader of the night sentinals. After they died and the Slayer put in his coffin, the theory suggests he was in there in hell for so long that the universe in the real world ended and began again with a new big bang. It's flawed obviously (like how the solar system and out galaxy formed the exact same way) but interesting nonetheless.

well, yeah, doomguy was made to actually have realistic movement where he'd gain momentum with movement and wouldn't stop in place either, and also had a much higher top speed

doom slayer is built more to be an actual modern FPS type thing where his movement is always the same speed and doesn't really change or gain momentum and would stop instantly when the movement button isn't held, and is slower

ostly since doom 2016 is built way differently and focuses on exploring and contains platforming

if you still had momentum and would slide, it could make platforming somewhat harder and more annoying

2016 also doesn't really guide your aim as much so if you were sliding around and had momentum it could mess up your aim too probably

against imps and soldiers...it one-shots them....against barons, hell knights, and the like....it takes 2-3 shots

pretty much but you wouldn't need that many for non-boss demons since it can obliterate them in 1-3 shots depending on the demon

replaying now and the inability to skip cutscenes is really annoying

at first it somewhat fine but later cutscenes overstay their welcome considering how dull they are

that whole monologue with hayden, I dont need to hear it again

Really annoying glitch in 2016 I'm dealing with now - With pistol out, throwing a grenade and pressing my shotgun key before the grenade throw is done will glitch the pistol. I become unable to shoot, switch to anything, or melee.
