In Doom Eternal, after you kill the final priest in Sentinel Prime, Khan Maykr says "And this will be another world, you brought to extinction."
Considering that Argent D'Nur seems to be still operational to some degree, the only other possible world that comes to mind would be the Ancient Martian Civilization from Doom 3, which was sacrificed entirely to power the Soul Cube.

Try to use the shotgun more often. High tier weapons like Plasma or Rockets will obviously be more limited so that you do not abuse those.

As much as I shit on this game I greatly appreciate the lack of progression systems. It's the only truly 3D DooM game where I don't have to worry about stat upgrades or weapon points or suit tokens. I can simply load into the game and start shooting demons.

I’ve came up with a theory that might connect Doom 3 with the rest of the franchise.
So the Doom Slayer crossed many dimensions originally being from the Hell invaded Earth. But when he entered the Sentinel dimension he was sent back thousands or millions of years. It was only after he fought countless battles with hell, witnessed the end of Sentinel civilization and was put in a sort of stasis for countless years did he wake up to another conquest of humanity on Earth. What if he entered Doom 3 dimension far in the past as well and was that legendary warrior that used the soulcube to close the portal originally.
Also think about it, soul cube is the weapon that uses the energy of defeated demons to restore player’s health. Doom slayer does that just by executing his enemies. What if originally Doom slayer learned of this power by using the soul cube and then asked the Sentinels to upgrade himself to have the same abilities?
