I am stuck in Doom Eternal, Destroy the super gore nest.
Ones inside in the building there is that big flesh thing
and behind it at the top there is a opening (with a secret
room at the opposite site were all kind of ammo is placed.)
The opening is closed by teeth, and a yellow marker is there
to tell me that i need to enter there. But there is no way
for me to open the teeth. I have seen severel youtube video's
and in all of them the teeth are already opened.

you jump that gap across that secret spot, go into the tunnel it'll take you into an arena you'll need to fight overpowered demons and use teleports to in different sections to deal with the totem, then you can nab the yellow key and progress :V is that what you mean

doors are opened. How do i open that "teeth door" and get in

Looked at the video do you have the Yellow gore key. if you look above the weird slamming fleshy thing with the leap poles up above there's a path that leads into a flesh room with buffed demons.

Thanks @agile cove for answering. And no, i don't have the yellow gore key. Can't understand i missed that place because i looked so carefully throughout the whole level and specially at that slamming fleshy thing because i already assumed that that would cover something up. Even stand in it and did get killed, hoping something would open up or teleport me hahaha. Will check above that thing as soon as i play tonight. Was already afraid i had to noclip myself through the door in cheatmode, something i only want to do when there is absolutly no other option. So thanks!

So, I have an issue, unable to update the game on PC. After the first day or two of installing or playing, Bethesda Launcher no longer recoginized my install.
I was able to continue playing by just opening the game .exe file. Is there a way to update the game at this point?
I'm afraid of reinstalling, idk if I'll lose my saves, etc

Go to C:\Users\<your_username>\Saved Games\id Software
There you will find that there is a folder DOOMEternal
That one contains your save files and configuration. You can drag it to copy it somewhere safe and paste it back in case something gets wrong during reinstallation.
Now you should be safe to reinstall the game (and you can repeat the process to archive a copy of the saves offline).

u wnna know how u give "campaign quality of life improvements" ? add turbo mode (permanent totem demons and overdrive slayer without infinite ammo), add glory kill only mode where enemies can only get glory killed, and make chainsaw_gloryKillsCostNoAmmo 1 by default or as a cheat code so you can choose to either chainsaw or glory kill a stunned enemy, pls @id 😔

HUD shows that already, you could make meathook have a slight visual change where its more retracted or smth, or play a sound when the mode is switched to pulling enemies in
its whatever, its easy to keep track of what tis gonna do, u can also just change the crosshair to indicate the change, which is prolly the best option

NOTICE: Hi, I had a bugged milestone, I did 100% but did not receive sentinel podium, same with Altair of Glory, I did all 250 games but received nothing. BUT! Yesterday I died on cultist base on Ultra Nightmare, and when I got back to main menu, I received my Altair of Glory, but not sentinel podium.. just letting people know that have same problem, idk how but I got it after I died on Ultra... For some reason, my shotgun grenade launcher shots invisible grenades, enemies get damaged when I shot at them but the explosion is gone and you don't see the projectile and auto shotgun mod kills dont count for my mastery also my weapon milestones are glitch (weapon mastery with the Chaingun and the Plasma gun are unlocked but the millstones didn't unlock)

You are also exceeding the amount of VRAM the game actually needs.

I'm having framerate problems with Doom 2016
I'm running a full AMD build - Athlon 200GE and RX570. When I initially installed the game, it ran at 60 and even 75 fps when I OCed my monitor, but one day I booted the game and it drops to 30 and 40 during combat. There's also pretty heavy stutter during some sections.
I re-installed the game today, and those issues persist. I think it's a driver issue, but downgrading for one game is not something I'm willing to do. Can anyone help?

Same as with 2016 - I booted the game for the 2nd time after launch, framerate was awful (20-40) even at the lowest settings. After a few launches it went away.

@amber fractal If you're running Windows 10, I'd say take a look at that and see if there's anything with that that could be cauing performance issues with Doom. This is just a guess but see if msmpeng.exe is causing high CPU usage or try disabling Game Bar.

Hello! I had recently reinstalled Doom Eternal as the Bethesda launcher had suggested me to because I was missing a .dll file. Turns out, I actually had to install Microsoft DirectX. After that was done, I had launched Doom Eternal (and installing the latest update, I know, 🤦♂️) without issue, but I then discovered that my save files were gone (by extension my milestones) and my DOOM level had been reset.
If this is of any relevance: Last week, I had to reinstall Windows on my boot drive to fix some unrelated software issues that were unable to be resolved on that particular build. After a successful reinstallation, I had "tricked" Bethesda's launcher into accepting that Doom Eternal was already installed on my computer (as it was, it was just on a different drive). Because of the "clean" nature of this particular installation of Windows, I had to reinstall all of my programs, including the aforementioned DirectX. I'm not sure if this info helps.
With all of that said, is there anyway to recover any of my save files (and milestones) and my DOOM level?

So... I found a way to fix my problem. All of my old save files and milestones were in my Windows.old folder under Saved Games for Doom Eternal. Managed to figure it out on my own. Appreciate the engagement guys, keep it up.

Been experiencing a bit of problems lately. It seems that whenever I play the game in nightmare difficulty, it will, sooner or later freeze. This doesn't happen on lower difficulties.
I checked the game files, reinstalled, lowered graphics. I have only one play-through on ultra-violence withouth any freezes.
Could the difficulty setting be the issue here? It seems highly unlikely.

so guys, funny story...can't launch the game (steam) since update 1, already updated OS, drivers, verified files and reinstalled the game...nothing, no errors, no black screens, tried to submit a ticket on the bethesda websites from 2 different browsers and the form resets every time I try to upload the dxdiag and msinfo32 (which they require to submit the ticket). Found a post of people who encountered the same thing. The only solution appears to be deleting your save and replaying the whole thing.

I just got the game platinum and i must say some trophies are glitched. My save glitched and i got the unmaykr trophy before the slayer gate trophies unlocked altough i completed them. The treasure hunter trophy didnt unlock either for me so i had to replay the whole game with a brand new save to replay everything carefully so the slayer gate teophies and the treasure hunter trophy unlocked too.. For me its not a problem anymore but i hope these save bugs get fixed for the people trying to get the trophies in the future.

hey, does anyone know why when i play battlemode i get kicked out of the connection to my bthesda account when my internet connection is solid?

So basically I just wanna start the game (I can't launch it from the Bethesda Launcher so I always directly started the .exe in the files which worked like a charm the last few months) but I always get this codefusion technology "error" a few seconds after. However when I click on "request code" in my browser nothing happens. There's no code that shows up, no e-mail is being sent and there's nothing copied to my clipboard that I could use.
From the in-game message box, click the “Copy to clipboard” button which will copy the code displayed in the box. This is the very first step on the website but there is no code displayed in the box in the in-game message box in the first place that I could copy. No idea what this bs is but I'm slowly getting sick of all the issues I got with Eternal.
Oh and I also tried to make Eternal not being detected by the Windows Defender firewall since that seems to be the problem but it doesn't even show up in the list of applications in the first place.

So I looked some walkthrough for refference, and the thing appears to be closed before you pull it (the Crucible) out, this probably means that it gets triggered by some action before you go there. There are two things you can do.. restart the level, or maybe try to not trigger it, but that requires you to know what is doing the triggering. If you are on pc, perhaps you could use a cheat engine, but I dont know how that stuff works.

@misty lagoon umm, spoiler chat is locked till dlc1 launches, but #doom-eternal you can freely do spoilers, just not dlc if more info about that thing comes around. Basicallz, till the channel is locked zou can saz whatever eternal related zou want in the cht, after it opens dlc1 is a nono in it

I found a weird bug with the battlemode default mod select
If you deselect a mod, rather than giving you the unmodded one (which is what I want) it gives you the opposite mod. So if I have Arbalest set as default, then I go and dequip it, which is very buggy, requiring multiple clicks and to re-roll over it, then when I next play a game the destroyer blade will be selected by default.

The nade and remote detonates often deal one damage because of the way the radius works. That isn’t a bug with the damage report.

I have to disable integrated graphics and connect to an external display to play the game.

@lean rock Some character sets have a few more, or less than others, but usually they have either 9 levels or 6 levels. If you’d like to check which, go to the demon (or slayer) it is for, go to the last customization tab, roll over the collection, then it should show how many levels there are.

hey lil question, is anyone else having troubles completing battlemode milestones? me and my friend have been trying to finish off 2 milestones but they arnt counting for us for some reason. It is the Spread the warmth and That escalated quickly, for some reason no matter what we do either in pub, private, turn the game on and off these 2 milestones will not count. these 2 are the last times we need to get the sentinal podium. i was wondering if anyone knows a solution or is having the same problem as us

I forget what spread the warmth is, but the way I got “that escalated quickly” was by using a private match, and winning the game and the final round within 3 seconds of being resurrected by my teammate using instant resurrect.

Drivers
Make sure that your GPU Drivers are up to date! Many problems can be solved with updated GPU Drivers.
Clearing Shader Cache
- Go to your NVIDIA control panel> Manage 3D Settings, turn off Shader Cache and hit Apply.
- Reboot your PC.
- Go to %username%\AppData\Local\Temp\NVIDIA Corporation\NV_Cache and delete the contents of the folder (You can paste that address directly into a Windows address bar).
- Go back to your NVIDIA control panel> Manage 3D Settings, turn On Shader Cache and hit Apply.
Disk Defrag.
- Click on start (Little Windows Icon on to bottom left) and type "defragment" > You should see "Defragment and Optimize Drives"
- Open the Program
- Analyze your Harddrive
- If the fragmentation is >10%, hit "Defragment Disk"
Note: Normally your PC should do this on its own from time to time, but better doublecheck
Additional:
Try closing everything in the background (except for steam). Having a ton of background processes (Discord, Game Launchers, Apps) on weaker CPU's can impact the performance drastically. (I had the same issue with my old i5-2500k)

okay so i completed two of my weapon mod missions, but this was while i had cheat codes on; i hadn't had any issues with progression using the codes before,as i was just using them to go back and nab the other collectibles i'd missed or round off any objectives i needed to complete. However, for some reason, this didn't prock the milestone completion for both those guns, despite the fact all tasks had been completed.

actually, it fixed my heavy rifle still shooting sniper bullets even when in micromissle mode, but now when i equip the sticky grenades mod on my regular shotgun, it shoots the rounds that it shoots when you have the full auto mod equipped, like i literally don't have a sticky grenade launcher any more
plus my weapon mastery on my plasma rifle is still bugged, it says i have the weapon mastered, even though when i check the mastery challenge in the menu i have not completed it
on top of all of this, one of these bugs prevents slayer keys from spawning in
they just deadass don't spawn in for me
im just considering giving up on this game at this point

i just went back and checked and i was mistaken, the update did not fix the fact that my heavy rifle fires sniper shots instead of micromissles :)

Question: For some reason the amount of vram the texture pool size took up changed exponentially. Originally it only took up 2990 mb of vram on my 4gb NVIDIA gtx 1650 card (gaming laptop). Out of the blue, it changed to 3960 mb, resulting in worse performance, despite maintaining the same graphics settings (A mix of low-high settings, with texture pool size having been medium)
