@lofty elk Milestones are bugged af for many people. Someone made a post on the forums and Bethesda told him they're gonna fix that in some later patch... Idk what that means either. I have an even worse bug, I grinded the living shit out of the game, got 33/33 of Steam achievements and every single milestone in the game, you're supposed to be rewarded with Argentas Paladi for that, but it still shows 80/81 for me. The 81st one being Argentas Paladi itself, lol. And other people get that milestone although they have like 40 milestones overall, so they actually shouldn't. Which diminishes the exclusiveness of the milestone altogether, it's supposed to be like the top 5% or something having it. So yeah. We wait for a patch and hope it will get fixed one day, until then I'll just play something else. :x

There is a crate going up you can hop on. Then hop up there. There is green indicating you need to go up there.
And a switch to open half the gate. Which will activate for you to go to another path and unlock the rest.
Always look for green, its usually indicating where you need to go.

i played one map with all the cheats i had active and now even if i deactivate the cheats my guns are extremely buggy, my plasma rifle is mastered for some reason even though it says i haven't finished the mastery challenge, my chaingun is mastered, and WORST OF ALL
my heavy guns micromissles have literally been replaced by the precision bolt shots for some unholy reason and now i have what is essentially an autosniper
its really really annoying me because none of the slayer keys spawn since my game is bugged out, ive tried to fix it with the fix everyone says works, by activating the cheat, going into a mission, firing the gun and swapping weapon mods a couple times and it doesn't fix it

Specs: Windows 10, Radeon RX 580 Series with update Version 20.3.1, and an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor, practically brand new PC
Problem: When I click "Play" in Steam, Double Click the URL shortcut on my desktop, or find the source location and run that .exe, the game does not open. In Steam it says "running" for all of a few seconds, the notice saying "HDR is not supported by AMD" shows up and I click "Play", then the game no longer is "running" on Steam, and it never shows up in my Task Manager...
Suspected Reason it Doesn't Work Anymore: I disabled "Game Mode" in Windows 10 to stop the game from minimizing constantly, it was becoming a bother... I did NOT close the game when I did this, so I Alt+Tabbed over to Doom Eternal to play, and the game ran HORRIBLY; less than 30 FPS in a small area of the game, bad tearing, resolution under 720, it was borderline unplayable. So I decided to Alt+Tab back and turn Game Mode back on. Alt+Tab BACK to the game; nothing changed, it still ran horribly, so I saved and quit the game, tried to reopen it; refer to "Problem," that's what happened...
Attempts at Fixing: I have updated my drivers for my graphics card, uninstalled and reinstalled Doom Eternal, Turned on/off Game Mode and changed Doom Eternal's graphic options to "Classic App, High Performance" and back again, checked the system viewer to see any errors that were involved in my CPU and my GPU, nothing, I "verified integrity" in Steam's game Properties for Doom Eternal, nothing was wrong, and in the midst of doing all of this uninstalling and reinstalling and updating I have restarted my PC SEVERAL times throughout, at least one time per install/uninstall. I have tried launching the game through Radeon itself, Steam, Desktop, Source File, AND as administrator, I have uninstalled and reinstalled DirectX, and I have tried pulling my hair out a few times; nothing...
This whole thing has been nothing but a major headache... and what's BAFFLING???
It was working JUST a few days ago, fluidly, at 60 FPS, almost beat the game, over 90 hours, most settings maxed out, and not even overclocked... So there should be ABSOLUTELY no reason for any of this to be happening; I flipped ONE SWITCH and the entire game went to total shit...

If you enabled HDR in the options and then this issue happened, then your game is stuck at enabled HDR and it's causing you this problem

Go to this file path: C:\Users\Your user name\Saved Games\id Software\DOOMEternal\base and look for a file called DOOMEternalConfig.cfg
delete that file and then launch Doom Eternal, the game should automatically recreate that file with the stock options

also, just a tip: there's no point in uninstalling/reinstalling, just delete one of the folders in the game's directory and verify the integrity of the files, it'll basically reinstall the things that need reinstalling and not the other stuff, so it's faster and does the same job

try to do a clean install of your current driver
there's tons of tutorials and threads specifying exactly how to do it
the old driver or part of it could be sitting around, interfering with your new one
after you do that, you can try to "reinstall" your game with the file verification from Steam as i mentioned above and make sure you have Game Mode disabled prior to launching the game again after you've done all of that

I've tried installing crispy doom for ultimate doom just like any other Sourceport but whenever i try running the .exe i get the error "The code execution cannot proceed because zlib 1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem" Does anyone know how to fix this/install crispy doom its the only sourceport not working for me :/ (i already asked on Dooms reddit but got no answer so figured this was the next best place.)

additionally, if it doesn't work after all that hassle, then it's your hardware's issue in the sense that the supposed 20.3.1 driver that "fixes" the HDR problem, doesn't work as intented on your RX 580 and you'll need to wait for AMD to do their thing and fix it with another driver @bronze rock

Right, but nothing was ever updated in either the game itself or the driver software itself for it to randomly shit on me with the flip of that switch, so that doesn't make sense either, but I'm currently working on that suggestion you gave

Specs: Windows 10, Radeon RX 580 Series with update Version 20.3.1, and an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor, practically brand new PC
Problem: When I click "Play" in Steam, Double Click the URL shortcut on my desktop, or find the source location and run that .exe, the game does not open. In Steam it says "running" for all of a few seconds, the notice saying "HDR is not supported by AMD" shows up and I click "Play", then the game no longer is "running" on Steam, and it never shows up in my Task Manager...
Suspected Reason it Doesn't Work Anymore: I disabled "Game Mode" in Windows 10 to stop the game from minimizing constantly, it was becoming a bother... I did NOT close the game when I did this, so I Alt+Tabbed over to Doom Eternal to play, and the game ran HORRIBLY; less than 30 FPS in a small area of the game, bad tearing, resolution under 720, it was borderline unplayable. So I decided to Alt+Tab back and turn Game Mode back on. Alt+Tab BACK to the game; nothing changed, it still ran horribly, so I saved and quit the game, tried to reopen it; refer to "Problem," that's what happened...
Attempts at Fixing: I have updated my drivers for my graphics card, uninstalled and reinstalled Doom Eternal, Turned on/off Game Mode and changed Doom Eternal's graphic options to "Classic App, High Performance" and back again, checked the system viewer to see any errors that were involved in my CPU and my GPU, nothing, I "verified integrity" in Steam's game Properties for Doom Eternal, nothing was wrong, and in the midst of doing all of this uninstalling and reinstalling and updating I have restarted my PC SEVERAL times throughout, at least one time per install/uninstall. I have tried launching the game through Radeon itself, Steam, Desktop, Source File, AND as administrator, I have uninstalled and reinstalled DirectX, and I have tried pulling my hair out a few times; nothing... I even recently updated my Radeon to 20.4.1 and rebooted to launch Doom, same thing

@noble breach Happy my idea helped you, I had a project for my last semester at uni. Audio was complete shit across two computers using two different mics, swapping ports, etc. It wasn't until after the final due date that I removed the stupid Realtek software and everything cleaned up instantly. Luckily I passed the class with a good grade although I probably shouldn't have.

So I have two questions
- I can't seem to find the Throwback Shotgun skin and the DOOT Revenant in the customization menu. I've redeemed all the codes in the box (Collector's Edition) and it's just not there.
- DOOM Eternal suddenly is starting to crash at random times. I tried updating my graphics drivers, changing to High instead of Ultra-Nightmare quality, and changing to 60 Hz from 144 Hz but that didn't make a difference. It just stops at anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes of starting and I can't even finish a single mission because of it.

@tawny crane There's a known bug where if you left the cheat codes on in Mission Select, the Slayer Keys are also hidden in the campaign.
You can fix it by doing the following:
- Go to Mission Select
- Disable all of the cheat codes
- Start a mission
- Return to the campaign

I'm playing Mars Core on Ultra Nightmare, during the encounter with the buff totem (right as you go to mars) no other enemies will spawn other than the inital ones there. i jave a glitch in my game rn where i cant use precision shot on heavy machine gun properly. it wont let me scope in and the animation for aiming is replaced by the micro missile lights coming out of the gun instead. whether im on previous levels or on a current level im working on. (still first playthrough havent beaten game yet)

@dark zenith I have a similar one but when I use the Micro Missiles mod, all the shots are precision bolts with the speed of micro missiles. Admittedly, it's pretty sweet cuz the super fast micro precision bolts just tear through everything. It's way too OP though. I'm going to try messing with the IDKAF cheat and swap between the modes a bunch to see if it works.

Some companies do, some don't. Division 2 faik never did a delux upgrade, but it's kind of sort of possible to spend enough cash to get there. Bioware within a week or three of Anthem's release did a Legion of Dawn upgrade.

I get it @amber pagoda, I far prefer when devs offer an after sales delux solution too. I also really feel for giftees, hair splittingly I am one as well. My wife was going to grab it for me but didn't cause I was being indecisive which version I wanted between PC and Switch. I think it was 2 days before release I decided on PC cause I wanted dem sweet sweet graffix. I also went with reg but I didn't see as much value in the deluxe side stuff as others.

Hey, I got a question I so far haven't received an answer for by Bethesda. Do any of you happen to know how switching launchers from Bethesda to Steam affects the games add-ons? I pre-ordered the deluxe edition, which at the time I didn't know was on Bethesda, so I'd like to buy the game again, this time on steam. I'm pretty sure skins are account-based, because in order to receive the DOOMicorn skin, you have to link Twitch to Bethesda, but what about, say, the pre-order skins and the deluxe edition OG weapon sounds and the season pass? Will I have to buy the deluxe edition on steam again, and if so, will i keep the pre-order bonuses?

It might be level dependent. Some levels do look and feel more taxing than others.
Framerate drops are just something you have to live with sometimes, unless the problem persists I wouldn't worry about it.
I run a R9 3900X, 2080 Ti with 4x8 GB's and even I get frame drops here and there.

So I got a code for a supposed pre-ordered copy of DOOM Eternal Deluxe edition off ebay, and I got it and the deluxe edition skins and items are there, but the pre-order bonuses are not, also it seems to be a bit wonky in wanting to conflict with the bethesda net login i currently have in my previous steam copy of the game, how do I get my entitled items?

From the pictures he sent to me of the code where the game itself was, it seems to have been a physical copy of the game with deluxe bonuses and I was sent images of the physical game with the two (game itself and deluxe bonuses) parts on it

@lunar steppe Getting suit tokes doesn't matter as long as you don't use them for more than one upgrade. I got the milestone despite having a lot of tokens by the end of the campaign.

So I just started up DOOM Eternal for the first time in about a week. For some reason, there's no more audio. I've checked to make sure spacial audio is turned off, checked the volume mixer, checked the in-game settings, restarting my computer, reinstalled drivers AND Windows... nothing. It worked just fine not too long ago. Not working now on either wired headphones or speakers...
Strangely, though, whenever I plug into a television, it works fine! No idea why...

I need some help. I created a slayerclub account in order to get the zombie skin and the other stuff for joining it, but I just haven't got it. I looked up how to connect it, this guy made a video saying if your bethesda.net account is connected it will automatically connect. My bethesda.net account is, and nothing has happened for the past 5 minutes. I noticed if I go to my collection there's one thing that has the slayers club tag at the top right hand corner, but that's it. I haven't gotten the skin, nor anything else. I tried closing and reopening the game to see if that would work and it didn't. I play on Xbox One. Thanks for the help.

Hey, im pretty new to the community and i just got DOOM: Eternal this week, and ive noticed at least for myself the game is insanely buggy, I dont know if it just me but i got a recording of me playing and some of the AI werent even moving, some would move but wouldnt attack at all, and there were some that were still working. ive also noticed that my heavy assault rifle micro missiles arent working properly either, it will fire semi automatic, but even that doesnt work. And my combat shotgun explosive shot wont fire, it will shoot something, but i dont know what it is. there are just a lot of things acting weird, i was wondering if there is any fix to this. I bought my copy off steam and have a receipt from steam of the purchase, so its not a pirated copy.

Hello my name is Vivi I have had a bit of problem with the Slayer points in the Slayers club.
a little backstory so I made a Slayers club account on June 10th, 2019 under the name Sabikackle. It has 2988/3000 points and the rank is: UAC Cultist.
When I booted up DOOM Eternal I got no prompt for a Bethesda.net account login whatsoever, and later I was trying to see how to get the zombie slayer skin because I had the Sabikackle account. I soon came to realize that steam just decided to make o a Bethesda.net using the email from my steam account so I was forced to make this Viviboo account, it was really upsetting because I was so close to the Ghost pain elemental skin.
My question to any sort of administrator or some feature that I don't know about is: can I just transfer my points from Sabikackle to Viviboo?
I really don't want to wait a whole year just to rack up enough points, I really don't want to start over.

In terms of campaign, no. However, it will remove any Battlemode/Event progress. You also keep any cosmetics you had

He eventually got his actual bnet account linked to his steam and kept all his pre-order/deluxe content, even though they say you will "possibly lose it"
Correction: any cosmetics from the series 1 event will be lost, you would have to earn them again
since that's tied to your bnet account, not steam

i submitted a ticket with an error code (that i immediately got when i completed the purchase) and i got some sort of canned response to the code
i replied to that and havent heard anything

Probably a human waiting to respond. human response tickets tend to take 2-3 days roughly or more.

ya bugs are kinda inevitable in any game. but the nice thing about id is that they are always at the forefront of engine technology and have always been supporters of linux gaming too. no one is perfect especially when essentially you are inventing a universe in bits (which any game does) but the id folks are always challenging themselves, even if they stumble in some places

here's what I did, someone on Reddit told me this:
he only thing left is to run level select from main menu with all cheats. Select broken weapon. Leave, turn off all cheats. Roll another level select. See if it's fixed and remains fixed. If not, repeat the process but this time with the alternate mod.(so if Grenade mod on shotgun doesnt work, put on the automatic mod then leave the game)

We have on the game a milestone who has a demons arm with a cup (battlemode) for get this milestone we have to win a round as a demon in the third second when you will be reveive (im pretty sure that its not english what i just Said...)
I do this milestones like 3time in battlemode against random and one try in a private battle but i never get this milestone can someone help me ?
