I've been seeing a very high frame rate drop on PS4 whenever I jump and am facing a wall while at the same time moving towards it. I believe this may be due to the game checking to see if the wall is climbable (as in, ledges), and it's causing the game to experience a few issues when I do so.

Basically, when I jump towards a wall the frame rate drops like hell.

Otherwise the game is silky smooth.

So I was using the micro missiles with the infinite ammo cheat to zoom through a level to get a collectible and I disabled it and went into a normal campaign mission now whenever I try using the sniper mod on the heavy cannons it’s micro missiles instead and I can’t see through the scope.

yeah, so that one is weird. Go and redo the secret encouter and it should be in there. I didnt get mine the first time when i completed it. But when i died during the mission i got sent back to the checkpoint in that room and the key was there.

Yeah the achievements aren’t tracking correctly in game because sometimes you earn some achievements but you weren’t connected to Bethesda so it tracks it on your console or PC but not in game

No friend list
No feature integration in the launcher.
Cause every button in the bethesda Launcher link to a site, its not integrated in the launcher, no store, no community, no streams, no news, not a single thing, only the games tab is "real"...
And without friend list feature, you cant play with friends, so should i buy the game again in steam to play with friends in 2020? What is your opinion? What is bethesda´s optinion?

Call me a pessimist, or ignorant. But I'm bummed, but also pissed that I cannot hear the soundtrack of Doom Eternal on release day. I've worked in audio studios, I know how that production works. I don't believe the words Bethesda is being transparent enough on why it's being delayed other than "We want to later capture the gameplay experience from our users gameplay experiences to make the song playlist". I'm on Steam and I've had 3 corrupt saves thusfar

Profile has reset 1 time. It was level 7, now it's level 2 based on the newest save I have there in Game Slot 2. Game is screwed. I really love it and wanna play it but I don't wanna do the level Doom Hunter a second time, and the intro levels a third time. 😦

Lotta people seem to be having this problem. I backed up my saves too and still the game just will not see it there. I don't get it. Save system doesn't work.

Yes. Shows my Steam hours played, files in the save folder, achievements, etc...those are saved, but Bethesda profile has reset and save file won't show. Only a test one which is just past the first level.

Just a little sidenote here: From my own experience I can tell that Windows Defender (the built-in anti-virus of Windows) is very invasive in some form.
I had some issues with it until decided to install Kaspersky Free. Since I have that buddy I never had issues.

Hey guys I found an issue with the opening cinematic, that not just happens to me, but seems to be happening to others in their YouTube playthroughs.

Just an FYI if you guys thought it was possible for a steam player to play with a bethesda launcher. It is not. I am playing on steam and i always tag with steam players in battlemode. My friend on the other hand plays through the bethesda launcher and only matchmakes with players on the same launcher.

That means we have no way to player together eventhough Bethesda literally says steam players and bethesda players can.

I'm also having controller issues. playing with a wired connection on a nintendo switch pro controller. whenever I try to use the right trigger to navigate between different tabs in a menu, the right trigger doesn't do that. left trigger works fine though, so I can wrap around to go to the right but it's super annoying. See, I've bought DOOM Eternal's collector's edition on eumerch.bethesda.net, but because of the Coronavirus crisis, it was stuck in Belgium one day before delivery in my hometown in France

I've tried to adress the issue with the seller itself (aka the official bethesda europe store) but they didn't give me a key

I've also tried to ask the official bethesda support but the only thing they can do is send me back to the seller

and i'm in a situation where I can't play the game i've been waiting for 4 years, and that i've paid more than 3 times the price of the game itself.

I can't get bethesda to help, i can't find where i need to address the issue, and I can't play the game.
And I can't go on the internet without getting spoiled.

It would really bug me to have to pirate a game i've actually paid twice the price of the Deluxe edition on Steam.

That's a little bit tricky but that's not because of hardware but rather the implementation.

See Adobe software for example works best with a Quadro GPU for professionals.

It's built around CUDA cores.

If you do the same with Workstation GPUs from AMD it should have some sort of the same power.

So the game loading the last mission/sequence (dont know, dont spoiler me^^) and after 100% i pressed the Space key ant the game crashed. Without any bug report. Hi I bought the collector's edition of doom eternal on amazon and when was tring to use the code , I wasn't able to redeem it, after some hours doom eternal is apeared on my transaction history.So I installed the bethesda launcher and for some reason I can't even install doom eternal instead the launcher tell me to buy doom eternal.After one day I don't know what I can do.Someone can help me?
