I got the last mission to run. But when I return from the last checkpoint, the game runs at about 10 frames for 30 seconds before running normally. The game console is continuously returning a "Null decal passed in to idDeferredDecalManager: :AddDecalFromPoint" during this period.

it wont open, or let me through, and the cutscene refuses to play after reset of the mission via the menu. Cant replay older missions to get on the fortress neither. so im kinda stumped :/

Has anyone encountered the game (Doom Eternal) crashing after you press the key to play a level once it has loaded. You press the key, the screen goes black, audio still plays however. Then the game crashes to desktop, no crash log is shown. Is there a fix?
I have had a play around trying to solve but couldn’t. Drivers are up to date, etc.
It happened once about half way through the campaign and I couldn’t resolve it so I started from the beginning again.
Now I’m on the very last level and it has done it again. Can’t progress any further and I really don’t want to start over from the beginning again, especially since I’m so close to finishing 😂

I was about to finish taras nabad, unlocked fast travel, went back through the level to get a few secrets. Now for some reason its not letting me fast travel to the crucible arena where i presume you would exit the level. It's just putting me back to the slayer gate when i load checkpoint.

HI there! Doom Eternal isn't running very well when in combat situations on my pc. I don't know why since my specs meet the recommended requirements. I've also made sure all of my drivers are up to date and I've replaced the thermal paste in my pc as well to ensure it wasn't that. My specs are Intel i7-9750H dual core CPU @ 2.6GHz, 16 GB RAM, and GTX 1660 Ti GPU. Does anyone know how I can improve my performance?

@proud flint interesting, yesterday bethesda said its not possible, cause beth launcher have no friend list feature, so you cant find anybody... so you have a multiplayer game with a group feature, but not a friend list feature, so you cant add anyone of your friends to play together. only way is to play random online, hope you get in touch with cool people and can add them ingame to your "favorites"

The Bethesda.net launcher does not currently have a friends' management feature. If you play with users in Battlemode matches you can add them as a "Favorite" and they will show up in the Favorites tab and invite them through the Social menu. Note that Steam and Bethesda.net players can play Battlemode together.

Apparently some people have been having that issue because of their pc’s antivirus is blocking it. Try adding the Doom folder as an exclusion.
If that doesn’t work try disabling overlays and checking to update drivers.

Might be different in your case, but you might just be doing it for nothing like I did.

So I've noticed this bug on my end:
Everytime I open the game It will run in my desired 60fps right. However I will move left or right or look left or right and it will clearly stutter or skip frames saying theres still a 60fps.
only fixes if I restore defaults and choose my settings again.
on latest nvidia drivers, no background programs other than discord.
My specs are more than capable of doing 1440p high 60fps.

Not sure if this bug has been reported yet, but if you replay a mission with cheats on, and then progress the story, the demon gate key will not spawn
theres also an issue where instances aren't clearing on completion (cult base, first fight in the hallway)

So I ran into a bug in the campaign with my guns, although the two weapons that seem to be most affected are the combat shotgun and the heavy cannon. When I use the sticky bomb mod on my combat shotgun it still shoots normal shells instead of grenades. For my heavy cannon it is either affected with the micro missiles lights being on the side of the weapon while using precision bolt or being unable to zoom in while using the precision bolt

Hi sorry to bother you but i have an issue with which i cant start the game. when I start the game in the bethesda launcher it does load the bethesda amd id animation btu as soon as it loads the game i get a popup (which i cant see in that moment) and it freezes on the loading screen. Well that sucks. I finished the campaign and had a blast playing a few rounds of battlemode. And now I cant play anymore of it for some reason. Were you able to play some games of Battlemode or did it always give you an error with matchmaking?

I've got a glitch in the Cultist Base master level with the fight right after you get the super shotgun; it keeps spawning fodder demons once everything's dead and the level won't progress even though the fight is clearly over
Has anyone else had that or heard of it and know a fix? I tried restarting from checkpoint and doing the fight over again but it didn't work

Worst of all is that playfab is not even an essential network component. It's just a progress tracker. Yet it terminates your connection if it can't connect itself

I switched my monitor to 60 hz and then turned on vsync in game
it loaded me in, after that I changed it back to 144hz and it works
