@everyone I'm sure you've all heard this by now, but in the middle of December the FCC plans to repeal the Net Neutrality laws that were established back in 2015. This will likely cause irreparable damage to the internet we know now, as ISP's like Comcast and Verizon will have control over what websites and services are "allowed" and they'll likely make you pay even more for tiered access plans otherwise they'll throttle your access to these sites or just flat out block you from them. Currently this is a thing only in the United States, but even if you're somewhere else it could affect you if the sites/services you go to are based in the US. It's not much, but the only real advice I can give is find something you love, and do that. Don't think about if it will do well , or how others do what you do. Just focus on what you enjoy to do, and how you feel it would be best done. That and make a schedule, and keep to that schedule.

I started out doing let's plays. It didn't turn out well. I don't have the personality for it. I noticed while editing those videos that I have more of an informative-type personality, so I decided to do something that matches my personality, and chose a topic I'm passionate about

I guess this would go here, today I learned 2 days really is not enough time to make a game, I did my first 2 day game jam and the end result was this(controls are: wasd to move, 1 and 2 switch weapons, spacebar is switch dimensions, bullets can only hurt you if you are in the same dimension as them(red bullets are in overworld green bullets are in inverted dimension), originally the plan was to have 3 bosses and three weapons, then that shifted to one boss, and now its one miniboss with unfinished gui, no objects have shadows, and only 2 of the 3 planned weapons are in it
