Father software, some background on my health issues In 2015 I was diagnosed with epilepsy. I had a bad episode and spent 2 weeks in the hospital just to figure out what happened since it was my first seizure, but from 2015 to 2016 I had about 51 episodes in which my heart went into A-fib; about 6 of those were seizures. Right now there are about 2-3 times as many players with the achievement for grinding out a ton of points, vs people with the achievement for doing all missions in the first of four zones. Was doing a new-ish raid in FFXIV last night. It's more of an old-MMO-style raid in that it requires a spread of sub-classes for utility abilities, and adds the curveball of a hard resurrection limit for each player. We got past one boss and got to the miniboss in the trash after, which has an invuln that has to be dispelled. Then realized all of our dispellers ran out of lives on the boss right before. So... There's actually not much toxicity for that raid; the difficulty makes it so PUGs aren't much of a thing, and the community doing most of the organizing is really well managed. The lives are per run of the raid, so if things go south and the run ends, you can get back up and start another within half an hour. Fun thing with that FFXIV raid is some of the cheese strats. Respawning without being res'd from the raid doesn't put you at the start, it dumps you into the zone outside it and removes you from the party. It also turns out that if you're on top when it warps away, it moves you so fast that you can end up clipped inside a wall.
