Yarrcheer500 Have you tried doing hunts with only the support hunters? They are surprisingly intelligent. I run Nercylla Gunlance for sleep and they will deliberately not wake it up on me. Also, after putting down a bomb on a sleeping monster the whole squad will put bombs down on mine. They also won't kill the monster unless you're also in combat with it. Dr. Thor, I'm curious about your thoughts on making difficulty combat accessible. Currently in a game I'm pushing to Early Access in the next few days, I'm adding lots of healing items that allow you to essentially tank some of the enemy attacks in combat to increase your survivability and allowed mistakes, but my worry is that because these healing items are part of the exploration and item discovery loop, that I'm locking players with high skill out of content. If you look at the UwU squid female chest piece, it changes based on whether you are wearing the UwU head piece as well. So the dev team have posted a note on the MH:W FAQ about Flayer. The skill is not bugged and is working as intended. However, the tooltip is misleading and they intend to fix that in a patch. It turns out that a variety of attacks can never proc Flayer but that is not communicated well enough nor is there a complete list of what doesn't work. Apparently the human body checks for miss matches in the sensory system, like visual motion and the inner ear. I played a hunter and I figured out that a fishing rod counts as a weapon for the purpose of Wing Clip.
