and try to commit btw, dont play matches to win, play them to hit the stuff you learn in the lab

the winning comes with time

if you only play to get healthbar to 0 you wont have any fun, you gotta set small goals, learn a safejump, learn a defensive option, and then try to hit those in a match

thats what worked best for me

Some characters need those damned instant dive kicks for combos or like to time them off perfectly for plus idk what it’s called

So it comes out of the jump immediately

But on modern you would have to press a jump + direction with a button at the same time, it might be close but not gonna be the same amount as classic iirc
