Reaction Roles suggestion: You should be able to assign reaction roles to pre-existing messages via message ID, instead of having to create a new message as the only option.
(Another bot has this functionality so it's definitely possible)

Have a message that when you react to it the bot will create a text channel that only the person that created the ticket and the selected role(s) like "Admin" can see and chat in. Then when a "ticket" is created mee6 will create a message that when you react to it you can close the ticket and will delete the channel. Also if more than one person creates a ticket the bot creates more than one channel to not create conflict.

There is a bot that already does this, The "Ticket Tool" bot but I would prefer to just use @fringe verge 😄

This would be a lot safer security wise than adding an engine to simply execute a common scripting language like JS or Lua. Since people will have access to way more functions than you'd probably like.

Or you could go that route, but you would have to make sure it's completely sandboxed.

Make sure there's no trying to change to a higher scope or some shenanigans like that

for backwards compatibility i really think going with your own pseudo-scripting language is better though

and of course this should be universal and work through all mee6 plugins, including welcome messages, level up messages, etc.

I see you're looking to create a verification system, here's what you need to do: Giving and Removing roles

1. You will need 2 roles called "verified" and "not verified" so when people react to the message, they become verified.
You'll need to add the "not verified" role as an auto-role for when people join the server, which you can do in the welcome plugin:

2. Go to your channel settings. :gear: > permissions >
Deny the read messages permission for the "not verified" role, for each channel so they can't see the channels.

3. Create a channel called #Verification and allow the "not verified" role to read messages here in the channel permissions.

4. Go to your MEE6 dashboard https://mee6.xyz/dashboard and select your server, then the Reaction Roles plugin.
In the template provided, select the #Verification channel, and edit the reaction message to your liking.

5. Add some reactions for MEE6 to give by selecting an emoji, then click on the + to assign the roles (verified and not verified), also disable the setting "Allow members to pick up multiple roles" then click “Save”
MEE6 should have now posted your reaction message in your verification channel.

6. Finally go to the message and remove the "not verified" reaction by clicking the 3 dots on the message > reactions > click the X on the not verified reaction, to make things look clean

first, unban is a feature for a reason.

With MEE6 ability to Allow Roles use a certain command, that can be restricted to Admins with decent characters.

I'd like to be able to have my server post in the livestreams channel and have MEE6 livestream notification system add their screen names automatically to the dashboard so it doesn't have to be entered manually. Wanted to offer a suggestion about the moderator tools
Would it be possible to make it so when someone posts an invite or hyperlink to somewhere, we can make it so any URL's not in a list have to get approved by people with a specific role?
Rn you can easily prevent someone posts a link to <adult site> in a SFW server where you don't want NSFW content
But what if the link is a hyperlink / redirect, or is a site that we've never seen before?
The mod tools already make posts in a specified channel, so it'd be great if it could tag specified roles (like mods/admins) asking to approve or deny the link with a reaction

Hello guys, so when add streamers to the twitch module, it looks to mention the entire server by default. It's actually quite frustrating that it is the default. Especially for larger servers.

And a lot of my staff will either forget or overlook it. I'm sure we are not the only server who's dealt with this.

Might be a silly one but when you're trying to select a channel from a dropbox on the MEE6 website, if the dropbox is at the very bottom of the page it's hard to select the last two channels because the "Changes Detected!" instantly pops up at the bottom blocking it.

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.
