Yeah, that's a decent workaround. Leaves a vulnerability for trolling, but it's give and take. I like the idea of allowing categories in addition to channels though. Granted, I'm still waiting for an option to "allow only in channels" instead of just "don't allow in channels" options. 😄

A feature where you can award your discord users and your community with custom badges. For example when they reach a certain level to get a exclusive and custom badge or if they are active, etc. Obviously the setup to be either in the website so it can be done though there and upload the image which you want to use for the badge or through commands. So whrn a user achieves level 10 in the server you can give him that badge as in to show on this exact user in the discord server. It could be cool if the badge/image could show as a role or anything like that.

I wanted to suggest a free trial for premium. Now, I know it was abused in the past, but here's a suggestion. There should be two requirements:
-A credit/debit card needs to be used to redeem the trial. Each Credit/debit card gets one trial. (Trials can't be reused on the same account with a different/same credit card)

For the custom commands, can you make it so variables can be split by quotes? so example we're using a postban command to post a ban announcement to a channel without showing who performed the ban

A question I sometimes get in my own server is relative to XP. They ask if they can clear their own, which is not possible yet. Maybe that's something that can be added in the future? Important to note that I'd never use this option, I wouldn't want to clear my own XP, it's just been asked in my server a few times in the last month. I could see this being useful to those who would like to reset their XP on their own instead of asking mods to handle it

we should be able to loop queue in the music category. when the bot leaves voice channel, the queue for the server resets completely. that's what a NORMAL music bot does...

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.
Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.
We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.
We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

is it possible though to have multiple channels to have their own filtered words?
because the current system only blacklist ALL words in whatever specific channels i choose
example:
channel x has these words filtered: F(%$ and S!@#
channel y has these other two words filtered: N$%)#@ and C&^%
basically what i mean is that if i say F(%$ in channel y it doesn't get triggered as it's for channel x

no, as far as i am aware that is not possible atm. there is a #┃upvote-suggestions for separate logging channels for each moderation module but i doubt that it will have seporate logging channels for different banned words

this is really good, what is there was an MEE6 PLUGIN STORE WHERE ANYONE CAN MAKE THEIR OWN PLUGIN and put it on the mee6 app store. I have seen nothing like this. with this the bot will have infinite possibilities. e.g. minigames, more moderation. And people can show there creativity and mee6 will TRULY be the number 1 bot. Just imagine you need a Facebook plugin but its not in the mee6 bot, so you can just search in the market place and get thousands of thousands of plugins!

second, about the 'Make your own plugin', that'll will lead to exposing the language used in making the bot which is the very reason it's not disclosed to the public cuz you'd have to know the language to code the bot and devs don't want that so that'll probably be denied.
