I would like to suggest a 'clean-leaderboard' command that could iterate through users and simply remove them from the leaderboard if they no longer share the server. I have to many users to manually reset XP of those who have left over the course of a year, and would simply like them removed from the leaderboard.

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

Maybe good enough to be a suggestion idk, but how about adding a ability that gives the server owner the option to manually give a certain member on the server XP? This could be fun for the members and very usefull for server owners that likes to host events on their server, and as a reward/price give the extra XP to the winner of the event. This ability could be used for far more things than only server events. It could therefore also be used for the most active member on the server. See it as a incentive. In return for being active you can reward the most active people on the server with XP so it will also motivate/encourage members to be more talkative and socialize with others.

Your concerns are understandable and the reason about being easily abused, or easily biased could indeed occur, but Idk take the live-streaming platform Mixer for example. They have a very similiar xp-system to what I just suggested. A streamer can give manually xp to their viewers to rank up within that channel. So far nobody has been complaining about it being abused or biased.

Requesting to have a moderating feature that can check an embeds contents and remove the post if it contains specified keywords. For instance: a video feed that announces all videos posted, but mee6 automagically removes any of the videos unrelated to the thread topic, by identifying user defined keywords in the embed

Edit: To add to this, you could also have a filter function on the mee6 YouTube feed plug-in. Filters out certain videos posted by that YouTube channel if they contain keywords.

The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

I would really appreciate it if you could make the XP rate feature connect with roles so I could give only Nitro boosters double XP as a perk for example. change the custom commands so instead of banned channels that a command is not able to be used in add an option for unbanned channels. Because in a server with almost 100 channels it would be easier to just add the channels that the command allowed in.
