I don't see this, so I think it'd be neat to have a make your own quiz / data table feature. You could probably do this different ways, but it would be neat to be able to create something like a joke database and then have the bot pull out a random joke when you type joke, or a quote database with quotes, and you could also have multiple fields in the database so rather than simply pulling a quote you could also have the bot do a database quiz, like "who said XX" with the quote feature

I was on the toilet where I do my best thinking when I thought of a cool feature to warn/notify if the bot isnt working correctly;
there are 2 ways to go about this (For a scenario, the Mee6 bot is in a "bot" role, and its dragged under the hierarchy position of the role it gives to new comers, so its no longer available to give said role) it DM's the Bot masters (EG Admins/designated Bot Masters) telling them an error has occurred and to go to mee6 website, where they're prompted with a banner explaining the error, and when they click on either the link or the banner, they're redirected to the page where the issue can be fixed (for example in this scenario, the "Welcome" page) and the feature that is having the issue is highlighted red.
Or the bot can just DM the admins/BM, this just explains the error and supplies the link required to fix the issue (However this can be abused by fake mee6 bots and can lead to potential scams/leaks of personal info, so I recommend the first suggestion).
This can also work with certain channels being deleted, EG Welcome channels or channels that are linked to Reddit post.

I think there is profit to be made in allowing ordinary members of a server to upgrade servers they are in without the need to be admin or have access to the bot's panel on site. I want to boost a server myself but I cannot since I'm a member and the only other way to do it would be to transfer PayPal or something to the owner and there's no telling if he'll use it for the server. That's also more unsafe.

Suggestion for the upvote suggestion channel. With every new suggestion that is thrown into #┃upvote-suggestions, have that suggestion have it's own identifier. Instead of random numbers, you could have it in numerical sequence. The first suggestion being 0001, second being 0002, etc.

Reason for doing this is so whenever users are attempting to search for a specific suggestion, it can make the search quicker and more efficient without having to look for keywords.

Can we talk about why "Give XP for voice channel activity" has only negative votes? At least on my server some of the most active users only hangout on voice. Have an option to set xp gains for different channels instead of overall channel. Like i'm a premium member and i can set the whole server as a x3 rate.

But what if i wanted to set individual channels a certain rate. Like talking channels a x3 but .... the spamming bot game channels a x1

ik i ahve the option to set no xp gain in certain channels but that kinda defeats the purpose and server users complain about no xp gain. Especially with role reward incentives on certain levels.

So, I thought that we need a Global Banning System for @fringe verge .

Adding this system is fantastic because
Mee6 is in many discord servers. So it can Guard many servers from SPAM.

May be you do not need to add Global Banning System.
But, I think that you should add User evaluation value.
User evaluation value can check by !check [user] .
So that everyone will know the evaluation value of the user.
If the user got reported to Mee6 Support,
The mee6 support team can Reduce the user rating of the target user.
The initial value of the user evaluation value is 20.0.
When SPAM is reported, it is decremented by 1 ~ 5.
When the user evaluation value reaches the set value, an alert is sent to the owner when joining the server.

Background:
Hi, im running a discord server which covers topics like Anime, Food, Music and News. To get fresh content for these channels i have Mee6' Reddit Webhooks post content from respective Reddit channes directly into the channels on my discord server.

The Problem:
Due to how many things are being posted on Reddit every second, Mee6 just posts content like a mad man resulting in chats getting scrolled so fast that you cant even discuss the latest memes, anime, news etc. without getting washed away by a river of memes.

The Suggestion:
If it would be possible to determine an interval on how often Mee6 checks the Reddit Webhooks it would be possible to better adjust, when you want to see what content.

For Example:

  • If i want memes to be posted into a channel, i could specify mee6 to post the latest meme on Reddit every 10 minutes.
  • If i want a bunch of memes to be posted at the start of the day, i could specify mee6 to post the last 100 posts at 8am every day.
  • If i want mee6 to post the last 10 memes every 20 minutes, i could set that up.

and so on.

If anything in the suggestion is unclear, please let me know and i will try my best to explain.

That is, use forwards/backwards reactions to go through each list of commands rather than sending each in a seperate message.
I guess rate limiting may be a problem here but it can be minimised by editing rather than deleting and resending.

I enabled the !mute and !unmute commands on my server, and it desynced every single channel in my server! None of my text channels are synced with their categories now! I never authorized MEE6 to do this. It should add permissions to categories, not text channels, when channels are synced

Edit the youtube notification set up. Currently it says that you have to put in a channel name. In reality you can also use a channel url, which would be good to know in some cases where the channel might have copycats/archival copies/a very common name

what I mean is that premium sub is related to your server, not to your account. There's nothing in common between two premium subscriptions except who bought it. Not like we asked to pay 1 personal rank card for each server you're in, that would not make any sense

Having the option to get xp for staying in a voicechat 🙏 I am owner of a 1,9k server and I want to motivate people to stay on the server instead moving to teamspeak or something else.
There should be no problem with that since you can add afk channels when people are not active and set then as non-xp
