  • 3 or more videos
  • your the most viewed video needs to have sufficient views
  • it takes some time (up to couple days) for YouTube to index your channel

I would like to suggest the dev rethinks the so called 'upgrades'. They are just too much.. If high rankers can,'t reach goals the newbies dont stand a chance and will give up, i am p3 and now finding it a boring chore myself.. A game should be challenging but enjoyable as well. I have a channel where im fine with people posting gifs, just not links to websites like youtube and some random stuff. However when people try posting gifs, they get warned, which isnt what i want.

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

Not someone that regularly posts here, but I have to agree with what the others are saying. I initially chose Mee6 because of it's leveling features. Having the ability to grant roles based on a user's level was extremely beneficial and easily one of the most used features by the majority of Mee6 users. Suddenly dropping it behind a paywall, especially without any notice (at least, I didn't find any announcement regarding it), is a bit restricting to those of us that have used the bot for years. I'm not trying to say that all premium features need to be free; I absolutely understand the necessity of having financial support, especially with a project as large as this one. But taking features that were free for the longest time and suddenly charging for them without any forewarning isn't the way that I'd go about it. I know my opinion probably doesn't mean much in the vast sea of users that utilize Mee6, but this was the one feature that kept me using the bot. That's my two cents on the matter.

yet another suggestion: autocorrect for mee6. this is only toggable for a person and is disabled by default. mee6 will tell you "Hey! Did you mean for blank to be blank?" Explaination: Me as a server owner, it gets very hard for me to chose server admins or moderators. Sometimes I get admins who are not honest and only join the team to ruin the server. admin power is very high. it can destroy the whole server. By the report command if an admin does something wrong such as delete the server or steal members or something very dangerous for a server, then we should be able to report that person so we can spread awareness for other Discord server owners so they don't hire that person.

We can't make role rewards free as we will lose too many premium subscriptions then we can't keep MEE6 online.
(It's expensive)

Pls check #┃upvote-suggestions as there is a 3 for free then ask for premium system role rewards there if you'd like to possibly see that added in the future

  1. Not possible if there are no mutual servers with the bot (which is the case with bots all the times once you leave a server, as they only see mutual servers for that server only)
  2. Sending one would be seen as unsolicited advertising, which is against the TOS

Suggestion: Apply a role whenever an individual is automatically sent to the AFK channel, by joining the afk channel, a role is given to them, and by leaving that channel, the role is taken away

My suggestion is: When creating a custom command, there should be an option like {user} but instead of mentioning the user typing the command, it should pick randomly someone from the server.
I have a server, and im really needing that command, and it would be very usefull for me and my friends

Giving welcome roles based on invite links will be better,
Example :
If Member joins with Invite-1 he gets assigned to Role-1, similarly Invite-2 will be assigned to Role-2

This helps in having a single server for multiple functions

Image you have a command, and you do like !command (the tag of someone) then it will execute the command normally, and it will put the person's name there instead of doing many commands which every tag on the server and make it to random

Request: add role command that can be used over more then 1 server.

Discription: Some people have more then 1 server that is linked to the same community just to maintain everthing. the purpose for this command is if someone adds a role o a member in 1 server, the same role should be added to the same member.

That’s not really feasible for large bots because they would have to keep track of a lot of roles, members, and there is something called sharding that ads the extra difficulty to communicate between servers.

Hello .

I noticed that meet6 is limited in its category "levels" part of the" experience":

Would it be possible to add experience when a person posts a photo, or a post a link in a specific channel?
Today only words add experience in one or more channels.

It would be nice to have this and to be able to choose one or more types of experience for our users ( ex: community discord)

Ex: in my server, I have a channel where people post their creations , but don't get any experience because it only posts links or pictures without text

It would be interesting to be able to set the number of experiments manually, ( because today it is random) especially in a channel where there is no text the progress of the experiment is slow and laborious!

Reasons?
- We want to avoid bias in our system.
- It's easily abused by admins.
- Not worth the time to add.
- Because we don't want that being a feature.

but to set the experience for everyone above >25xp
Because for a channel where there are only photo creations it takes a long time to reach the levels

but then we would need to link a user to this webhook, and do a bit more operations than what we're doing for now (which may add a big latency, according to the 2M servers which use MEE6)
