I think it would be useful to add a function to Mee6 for custom commands.
This function could make it possible to put different cooldowns according to certain roles.
With that, we could put a specific cooldown for members and not put it for administrators or other members.

It would be nice to have access to make different levels for rpg servers. You would be able to make like mining, fishing channel where you would get that level up. Then when you do !rank, you would see your all levels.

Staff can take their job too seriously, which puts me and potentiality others from wanting to use the bot.
on an alternative bot and bot server which offers virtually all of mee6 stuff for free, (which I'm not going to mention the name for obvious reasons). Who knows, I might get muted for this, lol.

A moderation feature where if the user has a specific role, they can/can't click reactions. But if they do click it, mee6 would remove it and the role they received from clicking (Because ik there's servers where you get roles from clicking reactions) Of course, you would need to configure which message and which role and which reaction...

had this idea, if the bot could pick 1 random user in the server and give them a role just for the day then switching who has it, in my server there are rewards for being active, this way even people who just lurk can also get the rewards for a limited time or access to something special in itself? hope it makes sense

you can NOT give XP to a user.

Reasons?
- We want to avoid bias in our system.
- It's easily abused by admins.
- Not worth the time to add.
- Because we don't want that being a feature.

In timers, make it so you can just send the defined text to all channels if the option is selected. (less work for user if they want to send a message on every channel). I know they will still have to approve the webhooks but it still saves time.

It would be nice to have Role-Rewards not just Level-based but even Rank-based so, for instance, the bot would be able to recognize who is Rank #50 or higher on the leaderboard and give them a Role; whether a member were to pass from Rank #51 to Rank #50, the bot would remove the role from the user who is not on Top 50 anymore

MEE6 currently is offline in a couple servers because of a bad connection between MEE6 and Discordapp.
this should be resolved in half a hour for the effected servers
you will be able to talk again in this server once the issue is resolved

Make automod have more specific automated actions. instead of having the "1 infractions then...", you should have "1 time spamming caps/copypasta/zalgo then..."

MEEWAVE6 I assume you want some kind of verification system for your server, so here's what you need to do:
1. Create a role named "Verified" and "Not Verified" for example.

2. Go to your channel settings. :gear: > Permissions > Deny the read messages permission RedTick for the "Not Verified" role, so they can't see the channels.

3. Create a channel called #Verification and allow the "Not Verified" role to read messages GreenTick here.

4. Go to your MEE6 dashboard https://mee6.xyz/dashboard and select your server, then the Welcome plugin welcome Scroll to the bottom and add a role to give to a user when they join the server. (The "Not Verified" role).

5. Go to the Custom Commands plugin and create one called "!Verify" then add the actions "Give Role" and "Remove Role".
• Select the "Verified" role to be given.
• Select the "Not Verified" role to be removed.
• Scroll to the bottom and select "Clear command invocation" then save the command.

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

You guys should have it so custom commands have more abilities. I mean this in a sense where you can make a command and have "seccondary" commands with it. Basically make it more sophisiticated. For Example I will give my scenario. The command would be !color but instead of having to make a million commands of !color-purple (example) I could make one single !color command and add a space and just put the color name so I could do !color purple but the purple doesn't have to be its own seperate command.

Not sure if this was suggested I thought it was but I couldn't find it. So premium allows you to do the leveling rewards thing right? But other bots will do it for free. You would be losing users if they switch to competing bots. Maybe the leveling rewards system should be free?

@noble path our problem is that currently we need money to keep mee6 online, and our devs think this is the only way to get more premium subs. We’re testing it since a few months now, and it looks like we haven’t lost so many servers for now, so... buy we’re still searching for another idea, and maybe we will do more premium plugins to keep roles rewards free.
Yet there is a suggestion to upvote where you could get 3 roles for free per server, it may help a lot of users I guess

When setting a timer. Enable it so you can set how long that timer will keep going for. For example. Goes off every 5 minutes for the next hour. Then stops. once the hour is done.

Bot doesn't react on commands!!!

That usually happens because:

- Plugin is disabled -> Go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard and enable the plugin with needed command!
- Permission is missing -> Ask your server's owner to go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard -> Settings -> Bot master -> Add your role
- Command is disabled -> Go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard, open plugin settings and enable the command!
- Do not reply to command option is enabled -> Go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard, open plugin settings, click [Edit] button, scroll down and disable the option!-
You're using command in wrong way! -> Moderator commands like !mute !kick !ban etc. need the user to be mentioned. Example: !kick @user annoying

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.

That's probably not something that will happen. The global prefix for MEE6 has been ! for long enough that it would just cause more confusion that avoiding clashes would be worth. However, custom prefixes per server is more common and much more likely to happen.

Reasons?
- We want to avoid bias in our system.
- It's easily abused by admins.
- Not worth the time to add.

c'est une raison valable, nous ne voulons pas qu'il fasse partie de notre bot malheureusement. nous voulons éviter les biais dans notre système afin que les administrateurs ne peuvent pas aller sur un canal secret et donner aux gens XP sans que personne ne voit.

Howdy, premium user here - for the music player, right now it appears we have to add a song with one command, then play it with a second command. Is this correct? If so, we wanted to put in a vote "play" & "add" functions to be one command. So if a person does "play" then it would autoplay, and if there's something already playing, the song would be added to the queue. Thx!

This says, "-!play songname/link actually play the song", which is similar to what I'm saying, but different. I'm talking about a modification to an existing command, which might read something like, "-!play/add to be combined into one command". Does that make sense? I'm suggesting something a bit more than what I'm showing in the first point.

Hi, I’d like to suggest a feature for commands. There’s a Banned Channels list, to where the command won’t work, but it would be great if we had an Allowed Channels. That way, if i only want it to work on one or two channels, it’s easier to set up.

Remove the @ everyone from default stream announcements, it is so annoying to remove all the @ s

Also have a way to add many streamers at one time, it takes forever to add each streamer at a time.... Would really help when it comes to adding several members from your stream team with the same message. Time is key

Set up mee6 to notify only about specific twitch games and not just whenever the streamer goes online. Great for discord servers dedicated to a specific game that have a partnership with those streamers. People report that it can get annoying to get notified, for example, about any game that isn't csgo on a csgo server.

You guys should update the reputation suggestion. I would say global so people can be recognized for the good reputation they have. And for rewards maybe add some incentive like lets see I would suggets premium but ya know that takes away money. Still shoulf have some perks. And if the rep system goes either way you would know who has a bad reputation and with that there should be a way to remove false bad reps if need be

Add a "add reaction" as an action for custom commands.
For instance for a "give role" command I make Mee6 reply with ✅ to inform the user that the command was executed, but I would rather have it react to the command with that emoji.

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

you can NOT give XP to a user.

Reasons?
- We want to avoid bias in our system.
- It's easily abused by admins.
- Not worth the time to add.
- Because we don't want that being a feature.

Make it so custom commands when used, search for the specified tag that the command relates to.
Ex. -Dab (this would then pull a random image from Google or sites that have an image tagged under #dab, or the closests related thing.)
