Gies you're loosing massive members due to the fact that role rewards are now premium only. I am not going to lie, but it will help mee6 and make it more affordable is you make it free. Maybe add stuff like custom prefix to premium only, something that doesn't directly effect members that currently use mee6 and tend to sue a specific feature.

They may have got mee6 all due to his role rewards and now they are premium.

This is like the whole 1998 new coke thing where they didn't do enough market research and loo at their products and what they are bringing into the market. I know this doesn't direcylu relate to MEE6. Listen to the customers if you don't then they will leave and stop using mee6. If they stop using MEE6, then the same thing will happen as what happened to Mibro. (he's now a dead bot. Fs in #〉chat i am sure mibro would like that) mibro got taken down due to their massive loss of use / customers.

I am hope this speech has encouraged you to make it free again. Not just because I said, but because your customer said. Listen to your customers. Listen to what they want.

I wish - there was a way that a persons rank level could be shown as a current “role” in their profiles! That would be epic, instead of us always having to type a command just to SEE it.

So, the change to the role rewards where you have to pay to create role rewards, that might hurt the bot in the long run, considering that was one of the main draws to the bot. I understand the need to make money, but it becomes an issue when you try to monitize one of the main draws of the bot. My suggestion is that you shouldn't need premimum just to create role rewards

I understand that, but role rewards used to be free, and was one of the main draws of the bot. It rewarded active members and encouraged activity, but by forcing people to pay for it, it just makes people not wanna use the bot anymore. And I understand you don't just get role rewards with premium, trust me, I do, but by monetizing one of the main draws to your bot, it's the equivilant of putting 15 midroll ads on a ten minute youtube video... it's not okay.

Currently there's an Android bug that allows users to tresspass invite filters, and mee6 fails to detect them.

From a business point of view, having premium options are good, and keeping the most basic things free can be annoying, but it can force people to buy the premium version, so people feel like they are getting their moneys worth from the premium. However, making one of the most core features of a bot that almost all users on discord will know/come to know about a premium option is like Dyno making the warn/ban/kick/mute commands a premium. If you are looking for money, why not set up a patreon/gofundme page and maybe get some money from that too, because I cannot see this going well if MEE6 is a sort of pay to use bot, even if it doesn't become a pay to use bot, restricting access to fundamental components is never a good thing

My only feedback on the new rolerewards premium. Is that you guys never gave the public any warning of this becoming premium, which I personally dislike when people do that. Throwing in my two cents as well, changing the role rewards with no announcements/warnings isn't okay especially since the website doesn't even reflect that change. This was something I was relying on for an upcoming project and I was blindsided this morning when I was setting up a server. I understand the need to make profit off your product, but to have zero communication about a big change in service isn't good PR. I would appreciate if you would revert the changes and then set a date when role rewards would be changing to a premium service.

As we said before,

Role Rewards is only premium for new servers. But if you had a server with role rewards already setup, you'd not need premium. MEE6 is a project that cost time and money to maintain and develop, and the premium is the only way to actively support us and keep the project alive and running. Without it we just cannot run this great bot.

So I was told this might be a good suggestion by one of the staff members, so here I go.
I'm wondering if there could be a way for mee6 to distinguish between roles that all have the same level requirement attached to them?
So on my server, we have 4 different factions, and each faction has 11 roles attached to them.
Each of the 4 factions roles are set at the same levels, so for example, the first role for each faction is given at level 3. The next is at 5.
I was wondering if it is possible for the bot to be able to distinguish which faction it is supposed to level up the user for.
With 4 roles all sharing the same level requirement, I imagine under the current bot stuff it would be rather all over the place with the faction placement.

So for example if I tried to run %apply in chat it would not work due to the application bot not having perms to see the #〉chat and #〉commands . And inthe farmers chat you can run %apply. I pay for a lot of things. In my case, if you want me to pay, here's my advice:

Normal free use
Have a service that is a completely functionnal and that isnt too limited in its possibilities.
( basic ones and a couple of aesthetic features)

Premium
All the other less essential features to a server and any improvements to basic commands and functions
(YouTube,twitch,timer,search online features, custom commands)
These are very obviously non essential, they arent a part of the basic skeleton of my discord servers, they are nice details but i wont die without them...

Optimised features, higher quotas and a list of small details for 5euro a month is a good deal.

My pitch for the level feature:
Make a 3 or 5 server limit per user. So, if you want to have more servers with that feature, then you would pay to have an unlimited number of servers with that feature.

To make another thing clear, if you want to expand the premium rewards... adding previously free and popular features to premium is a terrible idea... expand premium by adding more features or new improvements to previous features...

Can mee6 respond more clean and appealing?

When mee6 responds to commands, it is ugly, and makes chat look bad:
"Jay_Garrick#4640 (355922232670814209) is muted for 16 minutes because of 'Bullying and spam', boss."

When it only could be:
Jay_Garrick has been muted
and the other stuff is sent in logs. If this update comes, I would like it to be similar for every command.

I argue that with this possible update, chats could look so much better to the eye.

Competitors like dyno have this type of responses but you do not have to make them the same.
The only reason I still use mee6 is becuase the settings are so much better. By implementing cleaner responses I believe will make the bot 2x better.
Please take this into consideration.

Custom commands should have an "allowed channels" the same way the roles have "allowed roles" and "banned roles". For servers with lots of channels, using "banned" to restrict the bot instead of "allowed" to allow the bot is tedious as hell.

Needs command to change the ! prefix to something else. For my server it was the new bot on the block , and members are already used to using ! for another bot. So I chose to remove what seems like a great bot from my server rather force the majority of my members to learn a different prefix because of a bot that will be used primarily for administrator tasks.

FIRST SUGGESTION

Can mee6 respond more clean and appealing?

When mee6 responds to commands, it is ugly, and makes chat look bad:
"Jay_Garrick#4640 (355922232670814209) is muted for 16 minutes because of 'Bullying and spam', boss."

When it only could be:
Jay_Garrick has been muted
and the other stuff is sent in logs. If this update comes, I would like it to be similar for every command.

I argue that with this possible update, chats could look so much better to the eye.

Competitors like dyno have this type of responses but you do not have to make them the same.
The only reason I still use mee6 is becuase the settings are so much better. By implementing cleaner responses I believe will make the bot 2x better.
Please take this into consideration.

SECOND SUGGESTION

I would like the prefix to be able to change. Having the ! Prefix should be able to be optional
There is no reason why it should stay as '!'.
Some users may not want this prefix like me, who would like to be able to change it to /

I'd like to see a feature where it is possible for you to transfer some bot configurations from one server to another. The example I have in mind is this one:
DragonFruit tries to enable role rewards in a new server that he just created, and he knew Mee6 was a good bot to use, because he had used it before on servers it was still on. He tries several times, but discovers that you need premium for it now. On the other hand, he has a server he was making, but doesn't need anymore. He would be glad to switch permissions from his old server to his new one, but there is no function for it. Luckily, he comes in contact with the Mee6 Support team, and they help him out. He would like it so he could easily switch it from one server to another, so he hopes the Support Team would consider adding this feature. Overall, he is still very pleased with Mee6, just a little bit disappointed. Hopefully Mee6 will soon have some other way to avoid this, so soon it will be easier.

in order for Mee6 to find your YouTube channel, you need:

3 or more videos
your the most viewed video needs to have sufficient views
it takes some time (up to couple days) for YouTube to index your channel
only once YouTube has indexed your channel, we will be able to find it.

Having A Dedicated Suggestion Reformatting Team
Um, so this is basically just like an aesthetic thing, but also kinda an ease of sight thing. So basically my plan is this. Have a team of maybe five or six people, who are dedicated to reformatting suggestions for the server and MEE6. That way, the suggestions would get DM'd to them, they would reformat the ones that had not been asked before, turn down the ones that are just plain ridiculous, so it would be less messages in this channel, and it would be easier for the devs and the staff to read through it. The approved of suggestions would be pinned, thereby easing things up even more.

When you delete messages with !clear, the bot send a message to tell how many messages were deleted but then delete the message automatically.
Could it be possible to keep them if they are send with DM ? Or be able to toggle it like the delete command invocation message ? Or send them to the logging channel ? (in that case, knowing the parameters of the command and who used it would be nice)

Still confused about the 5 day wait time?

Currently older servers do not require role-rewards for premium, they get it for free.
Newer servers will require premium.
This was done 1-2 days ago now, so if it is not unlocked yet then you will more than likely need premium unless you added MEE6 to that server before 9th January 2019.

You should always be in charge of billing info for servers you have premium activated for and have the ability to remove your payment method regardless if you are:

A. Not a Bot Master or have other sufficient permissions
B. Not on the server

i'm trying to make a very large set of commands like...over 50...I'm doing this for a command based game/feature for my discord server
This was the only way i could think of doing it

i'm 15 commands in and it's becoming extremely tedious to have to re-input about the same setting and text.
**For Example:** needing to reinput; similar text responses to the commands i'm making, all the banned roles, allowed roles, and banned text channels

If there isn't a way to duplicate commands there should be. That'd be a HUUUGE time saver.
It'd also be cool to have the ability to group commands, rather than just having a large list of commands.
Like maybe under "Command Description" having a "Command Group" option and commands with matching "Command Groups" become grouped in the commands list.

MEEWAVE6 I assume you want some kind of verification system for your server, so here's what you need to do:
1. Create a role named "Verified" and "Not Verified" for example.

2. Go to your channel settings. :gear: > Permissions > Deny the read messages permission RedTick for the "Not Verified" role, so they can't see the channels.

3. Create a channel called #Verification and allow the "Not Verified" role to read messages GreenTick here.

4. Go to your MEE6 dashboard https://mee6.xyz/dashboard and select your server, then the Welcome plugin welcome Scroll to the bottom and add a role to give to a user when they join the server. (The "Not Verified" role).

5. Go to the Custom Commands plugin and create one called "!Verify" then add the actions "Give Role" and "Remove Role".
• Select the "Verified" role to be given.
• Select the "Not Verified" role to be removed.
• Scroll to the bottom and select "Clear command invocation" then save the command.

@echo solstice You can do that because the verification method above is all done via custom commands, so you can make 100% custom responses, getting MEE6 to say what you like.
Also we tried to keep the command at a reasonable length so it doesnt flood the chat, hopefully users should be aware if MEE6 doesnt have access to a room.
