Hello, I want to set up a bot automation so that when someone writes a specific word (in this case a role “@role”) in a thread they created themselves within a specific channel, the bot sends a message to another channel. Hey Elusive, If you’re referring to the “King of Spam” achievement, this is automatically awarded when a user sends 10,000 messages in the server.

You can disable this achievement at any time by heading to the Achievements plugin on the MEE6 Dashboard, then turning off the King of Spam achievement.

I’ve done some troubleshooting on this, and it doesn’t appear that using a role mention (such as @role) is supported as a trigger in the IF statement for automations. Unfortunately, role mentions aren’t recognized the same way as plain text, which prevents the automation from detecting them correctly.

As an alternative, you could use a regular trigger word like help (or something similar) if the goal is to notify moderators or prompt an action. This tends to work more reliably with automations.

Hey Richard, for role mentions in an Automation, you need to use Discord's role mentioning format, which is <@&role_id> - then it will trigger in an automation on role mention, see below on how to get role ID's.

Currently, there are two ways of getting those.

This is a Discord app caching issue, which usually occurs with embeds. You see this when members aren't in the cache of your Discord app. It may look like this for you but may look fine for other people if the members are in the cache of their Discord app.

If you ping the member it should correct it - this time. However it may occur in the future for other members not in your Discord app cache. The only permanent way around this is to use the text message option instead of embed message when welcoming members, as these generally aren't affected by this. Unfortunately this is a Discord thing™.

None of these games take you out the server, unless you are referring to the /mee6-games command (which anyone can play, with or without a premium subscription), which are seperate to the bots in-build games.

I had 4,000 coins on the Fortuna server, but there was some kind of outage and it wasn’t possible to use the games through the slash (/) commands. From time to time, I kept trying the commands again just to check whether everything was working properly. I wasn’t trying to exploit anything or gain any unfair advantage — I was simply checking if the system was back online and functioning as it should. After it seemed like everything should be working again, I entered the command to check my coin balance. However, it suddenly showed 0 coins. All of them had disappeared without any warning, and I have no idea what happened or why they’re gone.

These coins are very important to me because I spent a lot of time earning them. I would really appreciate it if someone could look into this issue and help me understand what caused the problem, and hopefully restore my balance if possible.

My honest opinion is you should not be monetizing your discord server unless your providing people with a product or a service. Having people pay monthly just to be in your server or to see certain channels and to get a special role. It is not worth it. Like oh my my I am paying monthly to talk privet channels when i can talk in public ones for free.

Personally I think it depends on the benefits they get - if it is just a restricted channel access, not worth it - but if it comes with other benefits, then sure (e.g. faster support, responses from devs etc).

Notifications are a Discord feature, which members can mute on a server basis or channel basis (right click the channel & click mute channel) - or server mute by right clicking the server name at the top of the channel list and click on mute server.

Alterntively, you can stop notifications the same way.

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a MEE6 Additional Bot Master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with the wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using the correct account and the MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

I'm so confused

I used to use monetize until they depreciated v1 and cancelled all my subscriptions, we moved to Launchpass then our own system with stripe. While it seems like a good deal the 5% split, I wouldn't put my eggs in that basket knowing they can just take it away again 💔
