You shouldn't have too. The bot is just inactive for some reason. I set it up some hours ago, but you shouldn't have to resetup anything.

Ok, I just was curious cause on the dashboard my 3 servers it shows 1 set up and the other 2 are not setup one of the 2 not setup I had setup. Was hoping it would correct itself when the dashboard comes back. The bot semi works in my server, the imagine tag works but the rank tag is not its acting as if Mee6 is offline but isnt offline.

Yeah, might just showing you that as a result of the bug. Doesn't seem practical at all to have to resetup it. When the bot gets online again everything should be working auto.

How it is on mine, dashboard main page loads but when I set it up for my server that the bot is in it loads the dashboard halfways then just sits there with the loading circle. The bot is in my server just doesnt have all functionality, had some people message me on my server asking about the bot as they were trying to check their ranks.

MEE6 says I have no servers, but that's not true...

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using the correct account and the MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

P.S. If you're on mobile and some elements are not visible, enable Desktop site mode or switch screen to Landscape (vertical) mode.

Verification System with MEE6

Before we start, let's configure the bot correctly and prepare a "verified" role:

• Go to your server settings -> roles
• Now, create a "verified" role (feel free to rename it)
• Locate the role associated with your bot -> Permissions
• Enable either Manager Roles or Administrator and bring it higher than the "verified" role.

Next, let's set up the verification:

1. Go to all categories' settings (or by channel if they are not synced)
1.1 Click on everyone inside the Permissions tab
1.2 Change View Channels to (save it)
1.3 Now, click on Add Roles and select the Verified role
1.4 Click on the Verified role and change the View Channels to (save it)

2. Verification Channel
2.1 Create a new channel (e.g. "Verification")
2.2 Next, go to this channel permissions -> everyone -> View Channel and select (save it)
2.3 You can make this channel disappear for verified members by adding the Verified roles -> View Channel -> (save it)

3. Reaction Role Message
3.1 Visit https://mee6.xyz/dashboard/ -> your server
3.2 Now, open Reaction Roles and create a new reaction
3.3 Now, select the #verification channel and give it the name "verifying members"

It's not a problem as such, it's how they designed the reaction roles plugin. Click to gain a role, click again to lose a role (or reverse order if that's set).
But yes, it would be nice to have options like click to gain a role, can't remove after. Or only certain roles can click to gain another role. Just like some other bots have these features.
So yeah, add it to #〉suggestions if you'd like to see MEE6 have these. 🙂

Not trying to draw attention away from MEE6 here, it's a great bot overall, but may I suggest something like probot? Or channelbot? They both do react roles(probot arguably better on that end)

My server is a general chatting type community with art and tech being a strong suit, there's many ways I could go about it

Generally people just subscribe to low tiers to donate and show support

Yeah I know what you mean. In my communities I know the members wouldn't be interested. But other communities I know love the feature and they have got the Community Subscription.
It's all about knowing your members and what they like. 🙂
