I seem to be able to get this to occur each time i've tried. If you go to the economy plugin -> open an item, the buttons turn a weird format with red. and then if you go to anywhere else that has similar blue buttons (like timers, queue (which aren't even supposed to be blue) and a lot of other places), it turns to that same thing

Bot doesn't react on commands!!!

That usually happens because:

• Plugin is disabled -> Go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard and enable the plugin with needed command!
• Permission is missing -> Ask your server's owner to go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard -> Settings -> Bot master -> Add your role
• Command is disabled -> Go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard, open plugin settings and enable the command!
• Do not reply to command option is enabled -> Go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard, open plugin settings, click [Edit] button (or on the command itself if there's no button), scroll down and disable the option!
• You're using command in wrong way! -> Moderator commands like !mute !kick etc. need the user to be mentioned, and !ban, !unban, !infractions and !rank also accept users IDs. Example: !kick @user annoying

so i think music plugin is quite bugged right now

I directly played a song using a yt redirect link, the song was added in queue but didnt player (the bot had the right perm and wasnt muted)
I randomly executed !play command (without any other parameter) and the song started
I executed !leave in the middle of the song and then made the bot join the vc again, and played a different song but it gave me a response that the queue was full thought there wasnt anything and the queue was empty as i made the bot rejoin the vc

A member who left the server yesterday rejoined, however, they got the muted (jailed) role out of nowhere. Checking everything (audit logs, moderation log channels, etc.) show us no evidence that they got muted before. Asking around our staff none seems to have muted them either and they have no bad history, one of our staff could quickly confirm this as well. So mee6 basically added a random role to a user just because they joined again

odds are, they were muted at some point in the past, and no one used the bot to unmute them, they only removed the role manually

use !unmute <@&453610540686639115> and it shouldn't happen for that user

and searching with their user id is much more effective at searching through mee6's logs in your server

In what exact way do you mean filter? We have a logs channel with everything related to mutes, warns, etc. done with mee6 commands and a seperate channel for level up messages. Checking audit logs, I don't see any deletion in any of the staff channels, so that isn't the case either

They left the server for a bit over 24h to rejoin and end up being muted. They haven't been muted before, there is nothing in the audit log and everyone which was currently active on staff side was confused about what was happening. I can possibly check with other staff which are unavailable at that time but I doubt it will give any other result. It isn't a big deal but AMshrug

A user reported it not working so I went to go test it out in #174018494554177536 and the first test it stopped sending the next track after track 2 and then for the second test the songs never started playing it just played the count down and that was about it.

when slash commands enabled:
users will no longer be able to use the legacy ! prefix for commands, their command usages will get removed (command works fine and user receives the response) and they'll be notified saying "this is a command-only channel, you're not allowed to send anything else." but slash commands will work properly.

when slash commands disabled:
everything works fine with the original prefix, but the question is why would the bot see normal commands like a regular message when slash commands are enabled?

I don't know if it was intentional or else, but I felt that normal command usages should also be considered in the restricted channels PEEK6

Bot doesn't react on commands!!!

That usually happens because:

• Plugin is disabled -> Go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard and enable the plugin with needed command!
• Permission is missing -> Ask your server's owner to go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard -> Settings -> Bot master -> Add your role
• Command is disabled -> Go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard, open plugin settings and enable the command!
• Do not reply to command option is enabled -> Go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard, open plugin settings, click [Edit] button (or on the command itself if there's no button), scroll down and disable the option!
• You're using command in wrong way! -> Moderator commands like !mute !kick etc. need the user to be mentioned, and !ban, !unban, !infractions and !rank also accept users IDs. Example: !kick @user annoying

I think this might be more of a bug than a suggestion because it's functionality that really should exist by default.
Issue: When I had to kick my Custom Bot, none of Mee6's commands were left in the slash commands list.
Expected: If you disable the Custom Bot then Mee6 should re-register its slash commands.
Currently: I have to kick the Mee6 bot and have it join again for the commands to appear again.

Can you make sure the bot still has permission to View Channel, Send Messages, and attach files in that channel. A quick way to test it is to use !rank (NOT /rank) and see if you get a rank card (not the text based version).

The reason for the server region thing is that it changes servers which the voice is routed through, ones where it is night time will be less busy because it's night and fewer people are online there

Therefore possibly increasing quality

There are also times when the bot is just not doing well and you may have hit one of those

Like I said, not a dedicated music bot so things like this are bound to happen

The temp-channel plugin, you cant set a unlimited time in "keep alive" and "ownership lock" feature. once u change it and press the save button, it will turn back the previous setting.
if u are creating new setting set, it drops everything u have set.

So the thing I found is that Mee6 (and other bots) just randomly started spamming me in DMs saying something like “you have won nitro, join these servers to claim it and more” then started spamming server links. So maybe if you could try to check that it would be good!

I believe I've found a bug with slash commands & Temporary Channels. I have Slash Commands enabled in Settings. In Temporary Channels i have the commands set to the allow everyone and within the hub i have Permissions > Allowed Roles > Everyone plus the Use these roles to allow access... toggled on & Restrict commands to this channel also enabled.
Using a prefix (!) still works, just not the slash commands.

Does anyone know why when I try to make edits to the reaction roles the edits do not show in the Discord?

It shows that they are edited, but when I refresh the reaction roles revert back to what they were previously. Could it be a Custom Bot permission issue?

your custom bot can't edit messages sent by another user

you'd either have to disable the custom bot -> edit with mee6 -> enable it again or recreate it with your custom bot

• You can currently only add 10 timers per channel
• MEE6 has an anti-flood system. So messages need to be sent between a timer and another in order to keep timers being sent

Note: In case you can't see any text channels when selecting the place to announce, it probably means you're logged in the wrong account.

It seems when you choose to create temporary channels using a category's permission setting, and if that category carries many roles and permissions, the bot will fail to create the temporary channels when a user connects to the hub channel.

they do have the role, but as of now the bot is not showing them being live nor as having hte purple role, BUT, yesterday everything worked fine and nothing has changed and no one has changed any of their roles

few things that I don't know if it's really known or not. using ! commands in a commands only channel doesn't actually work.

with temporary channels, if you use an allowed role and enable "Also use these roles to allow access to the temporary channels.". when you create it initially, it won't let @ everyone access it (which is good), but any time you edit the temp channel at all, it lets them see it

New members in my server select a check mark to show they’ve read the rules and accepted them and they get a role to allow them to see the rest of the server. Somehow, it’s not giving that role at all anymore. Worked for months and now not at all.

10 minutes is usually the average time it takes to announce it, but you could try disabling the plugin, refreshing the dashboard, and then re enabling the plugin
