Performance stuttering, game getting hung up

For the past few weeks while playing, the game will stutter and hang up. Animations will still play and the game doesnt stop running, but all units will stop attacking or moving, then after a few seconds they make all the missed attacks very quickly and move really fast to catch up with their actual positions

This sounds like lag. So it might be related to connectivity issues on your side or your ISP's side.
